So, they sell you a gift card, but don't make it easy to redeem it. Quite the business model. This is the second time this has happened. Forgot to check in when there earlier today but must say the employees need better training. I was never once greeted, never asked if I needed help and only after asking for a dressing room had anyone acknowledge me. They do have a large selection but for their price tags, there should be more assistance. I was shopping for a theme night, as this is not my style at all, and was completely lost. I saw at least four employees huddled around the check out counter all just chit chatting. But when I went to check out the one girl who had only asked me if I was ready multiple times wanted to claim she helped me when the other lady asked. I am guessing they are on commission. Terrible customer service! I spent almost $300 on three things I will probably never wear again but felt like that was a decent size purchase. I would never return. Look elsewhere if you have options. And I drove over 30 miles each way to get there. Bad experience! read more

Recently decided to purchase my first pair of western cowboy boots. I've always wanted a pair. Did some research online and boot barn seemed to be the place to go as well was recommended by a coworker. Their local store and online site don't seem to carry the same boots listed online. I printed out probably 10 different boots, and none of them were in the local store unfortunately. Boot barn still has a large inventory in the local store, but it just didn't seem to mimic the online website that much (otherwise I'd give them 5 stars). Despite that I spent 15 minutes in the store looking around like an idiot not knowing a thing about what to look for. One of the guys came over and gave me the low down on what to look for. He was very helpful. Then I asked if I could get a female's perspective as well and a female employee came to help me finish picking the boots out. If I need another set of boots i would certainly back here again. I love my boots, wear them frequently, and get a lot of compliments on them. Ariats were a bit pricey being $235, but you pay for what you get and I have a nice set for my first ones. read more

This store is a great place to shop for western wear and cowboy boots. They have a great selection of boots, jeans, hats, and belts and many other items for both mean and women. The quality is great and the prices are reasonable. You can go in there looking around and before you know it, an hour has gone by because there is so much to see. They always have boots on sale and you can get a great pair at a fantastic price. The staff is very helpful and the restroom is clean. They even offer complimentary cowboy hat shaping services. I tried on 3 pairs I had picked, and Lindsay brought me a pair I had not even noticed: perfect!! I walked out with boots I love, that are a perfect fit, on a huge sale!
