Employees are too busy socializing to help anyone. I shopped the rack they were gossiping at and still no one greeted me or offered any assistance. When I did ask for help, they didn't seem to know what they were doing. One star for the security guard. He was at least friendly. read more

Nothing better than a store closing and gating up the 30 mins before closing time. I arrived at the Greeley,CO location at 7:35pm. As I pulled up, an associate was pulling the bars for the windows. As I have worked in retail before, I figured they were preparing to close. I exited my vehicle, walked up to the door, as I approached the door, the associate pulled the bars across the entry and stated they were closed. Door signage, and the stores webpage both stated the store to close at 8pm. That was absolutely the single worst experience hands down. It's unfortunate as I have always loved supporting this store. I will no longer be shopping with them, and will make my purchases at Scheels from now on. A message for the store: You never know who will enter your store, and you never know what those people may spend. In store, you always track your sales and want to "beat" your daily goals. Disregarding your guests is one sure fire way to make sure your store under preforms and eventually closes. read more

Not a pleasant experience ever. The staff is rude they will NOT help you unless you look like you have big bucks. NO ONE EMPLOYEE WAS WEARING A MASK. Not one! After seeing all these bad ratings, I had to go and test the waters for myself. I'm from Texas where I spent an average of $400.00 a month on boots, clothes and miscellaneous items for our ranch. I went to Texas recently and visited a South Texas Boot Barn and AS USUAL everyone in that BB was welcoming, helpful, and even offered to have something shipped to my local BB in Colorado as it was not available here in Greeley. This was not even the BB I used to frequent in South Texas! I'd give them a 4.75 as no one offered to polish my boots like my old store did after spending $100 or more. Albeit, this service may not still be offered since COVID-19 and cutbacks in personnel and costs/socio-economic structure of the company. Now, for our Greeley "BB". (I hate to even associate them with Boot Barn, as it's an embarrassment to the company) Unwelcoming : Not one person welcomed me to the store or asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for. Unapproachable (when I found someone to ask a question, they said they were not in that department) RUDE: One girl looked me up and down when I asked about a certain brand of jeans and she said, "I can guarantee you that brand doesn't make your size". Who doesn't make size 10/12? How did she know they were for me any way? What the heck? Must be rich girls with Daddy's/Mommy's credit cards and no need of a job. They were talking and shopping for themselves, asking each other if this was going to "work" for Saturday night. I stood next to them for 2 minutes before one of them rudely addressed me with a heavy sigh and a rude, "is there something you needed?" Nope, this isn't Texas, but since I've lived here in Colorado, I've met the nicest people ever and I feel right at home when I shop anywhere. Yes, I dress nice, and I do have nice jewelry, but this didn't seem to make one bit of difference to these little nuggets of inflammatory rudeness. I have no idea about the cashiers, as I did not buy anything from BB that trip. Too bad. I've always loved BB. I wonder if they work on commission? Went in on 5-5-18. Very poor customer service. The little girls that work in there were rude and when asked to see if they had my size acted like I was a huge inconvenience, they didn't have my size and told me I can go check another store in Fort Collins. Didn't ask if they could look it up or have them shipped in. I usually buy work boots every 6 months and have spent well over 1000 in this store alone on boots but will now go back to red wings. read more

What's more impressive about this place then the huge selection of work boots, dress boots and western apparel is the fact that their staff is very knowledgeable about their products. I wanted American made work boots. When I ask a staff member, she was able to show me all of the boots made here. Prices are fairly good too. read more

Went in to get my son a pair of boots and experienced nothing but awful customer service from beginning to end. As I was checking out the cashier didn't say a word other than the total. Threw the boots into a bag with the security tag still attached and when told the tag was still on rolled her eyes and took it off and threw it back into the bag. Basically threw my change on the counter and turned around without saying another word. If possible to find your boots or clothing elsewhere you probably should these cashiers are as rude as can be and I talked to 3 different women in my time in there. All 3 were rude and short and seemed like I was inconveniencing them with my service. Won't be back again for sure. read more

Decided to get cowboy boots to bring back to NYC on my way through Colorado. The staff in here were very happy to help. The woman who helped me was very knowledgable about boots and really was great making sure I had the right fit and type of boot for my needs. Tons of cool designs and choices for men, women, and children. Also they have some ranch/western style clothing and accessories available. Prices aren't the cheapest have good quality boots, and glad to see them carrying many brands made in USA. read more

I looked online this morning for a pair of shoes for my husband. They were $99.99 online so we drove over to boot barn and my husband ran inside while I was sitting in the car with sleeping kiddos. He came out and his bill was $128! I went back inside and told them that they are only $100 online. They said they would price match and put the difference back on my card and informed me that they know the price is cheaper online but they "weren't going to do the leg work. If you want the online price you have to ask for it ." Very unethical and people need to make sure you are paying the online price not the store price. read more
