Well, our whole family plus my oldest daughter's best friend got a pair of new shoes this weekend!…read moreMy hubby took our daughter and her best friend shoe shopping for her friend's birthday. She turned 8 and picked her first pair of Vans! My daughter picked some awesome Adidas (Ah-t-das)! I just googled how to spell Adidas and then it tells me, well the word is suppose to be pronounced like this Ah-t-das! Anyway, I had a major blonde moment while we were there. I was looking at the women's clearance, my youngest daughter was driving me nuts touching all the boxes and running around and I lost the shoe box that she had picked out. The shoe box had my car keys, phone and her old pair of sandles in it while she wore her new ones around the store. Myself, my hubby, my daughter and both employees start searching isle by isle and row by row. I am doing circling asking my kiddo why she lost it and if she remembers where she put it. I'm thinking it could be anywhere and I had an appointment in 30 minutes that I had to go to. I was freaking out and after 10 minutes of my circles, the lady employee came by it at my eye level shelf, by the womens's clearance rack and she says, "well is this it?" And it was. It was the shoe box I lost. Not anyone but me. LOL! Download their app and check for coupons but they usually always offer buy 1 get one 50%! Go get yourself a pair! Staff is super nice! Especially when you lose your crap!!

Our experience with Hearnes didn't come about with shopping for anything....my daughter and I and…read moreher 1 year old triplets were in town to do some early Christmas "looking". We got the babies into their strollers, my daughter shut the door to her vehicle and immediately realized she had locked her keys in the car !!! A moment of panic set in but we decided to make some phone calls and continue shopping since it was a lovely day. A friend of my daughters' and her husband came to our rescue but it took him a couple of hours to finally get us unlocked. It was getting chilly and dark by this time.... We noticed a vehicle from Laramie parked next to ours and wondered if we knew them. Lo and behold, here walks Rhonda and Dan Baccari, who we have known for years !!!! Their daughter in law, Maia is an owner but she wasn't working that day. They asked Tanja if we could come in (they were closed by this time) and stay warm with the babies. "Of course !" she said ! So we all went in and she had toys for the babies to play with, crackers to snack on and lots of attention to give the babies. What a gracious and kind thing for her to do for us ! She helped us load up the babies once we were unlocked and wished us well on our travels back to Cheyenne. We can never thank her enough for her kindness and generosity that day but if you ever have the chance to meet her you'll see what a special person she is !!! I look forward to going back to Hearnes and actually shopping there! Ever so sincerely , Pia Dooley , Erin Colby and babies

Last week on my lunch break I went into Blush Boutique Co on 8th st on Thursday, July 24 to shop…read morearound. I was looking to purchase something for my sister and my mom. This was my first time entering this store. I looked around and wondered through the store and I took some photos of some dresses I thought my sister would like, the lady who I became aware was the owner comes up to me and asks me why I had taken photos? That she always wonders why her costumers take photos. I responded with that I was just sending them to my family. She then returns to go into the back of the store to continue doing whatever she was doing. Which I thought the asking of that question was odd but I just brushed it off. I saw this golden pens that had a diamond on the top and it catches my eye. I grabbed one out of the cup and held in my hand because I was going to buy it but was waiting for the employee to return to the cashier to attend me, but she was in the back and I grew impatient and left the store, but before leaving I made sure to return the pen. (note that there were other people there too). Friday, August 2, I entered the store on my lunch break to essentially buy the same pen, because I thought it would be cute and fun to have. When I enter the store, there was a customer and an employee by the register which is where the pens do I walk around the store to wait for the customer to leave so I can buy a pen. I walked around the store to find the men section and while scouting through the shirts I find one that I liked and then the employee comes up to me and asked if I wanted to try it on, for which I replied with yes. I go into the dresser and tried it on and when I come out the same employee comes up to me and asks if I was in the store last week. I told her yes and then she proceeds to ask if they can check my fanny pack. I had a silent but confused reaction, she went onto explain that there was a pen missing and the owner thought that I had stolen it. My head went all over the place. Why would they accuse.me of stealing a pen without any evidence? I told the employee that I had not taken a pen. This person wasn't really assuring me. I hand her my bag and she asked me to open it for her, she looks inside and returns it. I continue to stay in the store and then I overhear that the same employee stepping out of the store, but I hear her talking on the phone with whom I assume is the owner, before she could walk out I hear, "Hey, the person is here ..." and in my mind I was like no way, are they really racially-profiling/discriminating against me? This was my first time encountering a situation in Greeley where I have grown up in. My first time where someone assumed I stole something base of the color of my skin and the race the I am. I stay enough to have the employee walk back into the store to ask her what is happening? She explains to me that there was pen missing and they assumed that it was me, and she told me that they have yet to check the security feed and that the pen could've been their fault because it could've have fallen somewhere. At this point I was done, I was mad and humiliated to find out that in the first interaction with me they assume that I was there to steal and it just made me uncomfortable to be with the toxic environment, so I told her again that I did not steal any pen. I told her that came back because I wanted to buy a pen and the employee asked if I still wanted to buy the pen, for which I said no and left the store. I will NEVER EVER EVER! go into a Blush Boutique ever again because of this awful, toxic and humiliating experience. I don't recommend going there.
