During this time you'd think the store was super packed with how long we were having to wait to get 1 coat that's clearly still hanging up in the store. Finally the order was found in their computer and they could go and retrieve the items. If we were treated with better customer service, more grace would be extended considering the computer error. Due to the poor customer service we received from being questioned if we're sure we purchased the item after providing proof, I'm not sure how quick I'll be yo shop at this particular Ann Taylor location again.

It's true there were other places you could find Lucky jeans, but having the store is so much better for a few reasons. Firstly, the selection here is much bigger, and if you're short like me, this matters a lot. They have the whole range of sizes in short length. It really bugs me when I have to buy jeans and then pay for them to shorten them and move the hem up. It's possible to have them look like the jeans you bought, but it's an expensive way of doing things. So I would rather go here and buy jeans in the right length, even though I might pay a little more, it's worth it to buy them and be able to wear them the same day. It actually ends up costing about the same in the end too. Secondly, I love wearing jeans, but I HATE the process of buying them. I can never find the right size and I can never judge how much they are going to grow when I wear them and I end up buying them too big. The salespeople here are so patient and they know what they're doing. They'll look at you, take you to the changing rooms and keep bringing you jeans until you find the right ones. They'll also make sure you buy the right size. It takes all the stress out of buying jeans. I bought some about a year and a half ago and wore them practically every day and they held up really well. I could do with another pair and I'll definitely go back and shop here.

A sales associate approached us to help and placed the request using an iPad. As we waited, he returned a couple times to let us know that they're having a difficult time locating the pair due to inventory moving around because of the sale, but they're working on it. After several more minutes, Kandace was sent to assist us further. She said that the shoe could not be found but offered the option to ship it. Unfortunately, our daughter is moving out of her apartment in a couple days, so this was not ideal. I instead asked for it to be shipped to the store. She didn't hesitate to assist with that. We encountered a couple issues as she was trying to process the transaction. The only solution was for me to place the order myself on the app. She was quite apologetic for the inconvenience, but she was too sweet and helpful to find her at fault. It took me just a few minutes to place the order. We then decided to check-out the sale rack on our way out. The daughter fell in love with a Damson Madder mini dress. It was a perfect fit and 35% off -- I had to buy it. Cidney was the sales associate at the register. She was so much fun to chat with as she handled our transaction. This is surely a celebrity destination in Nashville. But I never actually shopped there ... until yesterday. In search of a birthday present for my wife, I perused the clothing on the uppermost of three floors looking for something that would match her style. Under the impression that everything in the store was uber-expensive, I was surprised at the vast range of prices! You could find a $40 skirt on sale, or a designer $1000 jacket, everything from bargains to the pinnacle of fashion! Searching for the right item but (as a typical male) rather clueless about fashion, the most charming young lady named Lindsey emerged and became my personal guide, my guardian angel of fashion. With class, sophistication, and professionalism, this Nordstrom employee offered suggestions, gave expert advice, found additional options for clothes in the back, and truly went overboard to make sure I was happy, comfortable, and enlightened. Upon entry or while wondering around, I was never greeted by any of the five Associates I walked past, several of which I made eye contact with. Not that I needed help, but the dismissal of service is not something I am used to at Old Navy. Moving on from the lack of service, I also found the selection and stock wildly underwhelming as well. Especially, since the seasons have changed and Old Navy is usually the spot for light outerwear and fall pieces. For all the craziness that is right outside of their doors, this J.Crew keeps a sense of calm in their store with well stocked shelves, organized and presentable clothes, little to no clutter combined with a clean store as a whole. The staff were also helpful, but not obtrusive or overbearing. I encountered them on the sales floor and at the register, both times were great. Overall, we found what we were after and would happily swing by this J.Crew again in the future!
