Boots and hats

I just wanted to give a shout out to this store. Went there at advice of Tractor Supply for youth size boots for upcoming horse camp. This was a first for me and I didn't have a clue about proper fit. The folks at this store gave us incredible customer service and were really good with the kids. Age 12 and 8. Talked to them, not at them or to me about them. I loved that! Thank you!

Go there if you want to be followed all around the store like you're gonna steal everything. I put back what I had and walked out.

I have popped in this location to browse, which normally produces something being purchased and on a recent trip, utilized in store return for an online purchase I made. The store is well laid out, packed with clothing on floor and wall racks, alongside shelves of shoes. Clearance section is usually pretty solid for a random pair of sneakers, and some of the prices on the main aisles for shoes are not too bad. Clothing prices are never discounted too deep, better to buy the clothes online or at the a true Nike Outlet store. Service here is hit and miss. There are always a lot of team members on the floor and behind the register, however none of them approach you are seek to assist. It is an odd vibe for the brand, but it is consistent at this location. The store is kept clean and in good condition. Overall, decent Nike store that I have been to many times and I am sure to visit again.

Very frustrating experience at the Nike store in Opry Mills…read more I made a $300+ purchase and used a $50 Visa gift card as part of the payment. When I returned some items, I was told $50 of my refund had to be issued as a Nike gift card. The issue is that my receipt clearly states: "Refunds will be issued based on the original form of payment." There is no mention anywhere that using a Visa gift card would force store credit instead. This was never explained at checkout, and the associate offered no help--just told me to call customer service. If there are limitations with certain payment types, that needs to be clearly communicated upfront. Otherwise, it feels misleading and leaves customers stuck with store credit they didn't agree to. Disappointing experience and poor customer service by Kelsey who claimed to be the manager but offered zero help and instead said to call customer service 800 number if I needed help. I expect Nike to do better than that.

While I have been a fan of Red Eing shoes and work boots for about 50 years, I am disappointed in…read morethe service I am receiving re: a substandard pair of shoes. To be honest, the shoes I am referencing are about 15 years old and have a molded sole. They are Red Wing branded but made in China. About 6 months ago, I saw that the soles on both shoes were cracked and separating from the body of the shoe. I took the shoes to the Upland, CA store where I was assured that they could be re-glued and brought back to serviceable. The quality of the repair, offered at no cost to me, was not good and looked like someone had used.a silicone-like goop to cement the soles and had not smoothed the visible "goop". I accepted the shoes and brought them to Tennessee when my family moved here in August, 25. Last week, I brought the shoes out to wear and found that the repair had not only failed, but the soles were disintegrating at the repair sites. I know the shoes are old and out of any warranty, but I feel as though the Red Wing brand is known for durable footwear and should make good on an inferior product. The Goodlettsville store very graciously advised that they would reach out to Corporate for resolution. 2 days ago, I was told that Corporate was going to offer a $75 coupon towards the purchase of a new pair of shoes. I looked at the selection of shoes and boots and saw that the suitable replacement shoe will cost $289. Needless to say. I am disappointed with Red Wing. I have shared my story with Corporate and an awaiting a response. If I am not offered a suitable solution, I fear that I may not return to the brand in the future. PS: all my other Red Wing shoes and boots are built on a "welted sloe", which can be repaired in the event the sole wears out or fails as did mine. The molded sole is a cheaper alternative which I would now deem as " disposable" and will not purchase in the future.
