It was really nice of Dominique and Amanda to go out of their way and pull various pieces from their back stock for me to try on. Sadly, most of the pieces I really wanted were either much too big or much too small, but thats how vintage goes sometimes. I managed to leave with a 50s cotton dress and a 50s cotton circle skirt, both of which Im very thrilled about. Prices are slightly higher, but overall pretty fair. Theres pieces for every budget in this shop, without a doubt. I'll definitely visit again next time Im in town, and will certainly check out their social media regularly to see if theres anything I might want to have shipped to me. I go by Ms. Pepper Rose, and how appropriate to buy a dress with part of my name in the title. This company really lives up to their name. The dresses are crafted with love and they ship quickly. These dresses are much more affordable, than similar companies specializing in vintage and retro apparel. I recently wore the dress pictured, known as "Mad for Plaid", to the most famous dance hall in the great state of Texas. Elvis, Willie Nelson, and even Johnny Cash have played at Gruene Hall. Even though the bands were the center of attention...so was I. So many compliments and folks wanting to take pics with me. I ended up with a VIP bracelet...AND swing dancing with the lead singer of a 50s Las Vegas band called Lance and the Lovers. #s Truly a night to remember made possible by this company, my stylist, and an amazing makeup artist. We left a voicemail on Friday 5/9/25 to ask a question. We received a call back the next day. I…read morehave a daughter graduating this year and we were looking for a dress for her Sr Prom. I asked the owner if they had sizes over a size 10. The owner assured me that they have every dress in stock, in multiple sizes. That my full figured girl could try on anything in the store, and in her size. I explained how sensitive the situation is, that if she walks into a store filled with beautiful dresses, and picks a dress she wants to try on, and it's not her size, or even close to it, how that will shatter her self esteem. We were assured that won't be the case, that they carry size 0-18. We told her what time we were coming in as well. Pulling up, my daughter could not contain her excitement. The window had beautiful gowns. She walked in and immediately went to the pink dress section. (Only 1 of each style on the floor). We asked an attendant (as we were not greeted at all when we entered), to please grab the dress she selected in a size 13. She said that they do not carry each dress in sizes over a 6. But there may be some that are a 10. I asked to speak with the owner after watching the light drain from my daughter's face. I asked if I misunderstood what she stated over the phone, and she said that I hadn't. That coming into the store, we could see what they have and then order in her size. Also that dress orders are final sale. I told her that not allowing someone to try on a dress, and blindly buy a non refundable gown ($500.00 and up), is insane. And that I was upset she lied to me to get us into the store. That it's bad businesses and body shaming. That she had shattered my daughter's day, her self esteem, and made what should have been a beautiful and memorable experience the worst. She did not apologize. She shrugged. She walked over to my daughter's fitting room. Shouted in front of other mom's (with their daughters that could easily fit into all the gowns in the store, no problem), she's a 12 on top and a 14 on the bottom. Then snapped her gums and walked away. We left the store, my daughter in tears. No apology. No resolution. She just humiliated her. She carries beautiful gowns. But so do over 100 other dress stores on Long Island. Please do not support this cruel, body shaming, lying business owner. We are women who should be building one another up. But I do not condone wickedness. This store does not deserve your business. Sadly I had to choose a star. I wouldn't have even given 1.

Came today to support my niece/goddaughter who is shopping for her First Communion dress. The store…read moreis adorable and very girly, with chandeliers and cute little antique-styled decor. The racks are organized by size. There are a few fitting rooms and one large pedestal/mirror area. The customer service was top-notch, helping to hold and carry dresses and organizing the wait for the fitting rooms. When we arrived, the store was packed with several families doing the same thing that we were. The staff was calm and was able to organize everyone while not making anyone feel rushed or impatient. They paid equal amounts of attention to each girl trying on dresses, making everyone feel special. One of the ladies who helped us is also a designer, who makes some of the dresses that are available in the store. It seems they also handle all fittings and alternations, and many items like the color of little flowers, pearls and crystals and other embellishments can be customized.

I want to love this store, but it definitely has a lot of room for improvement…read more Main Pros -Their dress selection is beautiful - A variety of prices to fit many budgets -Staff is sweet, one did bring over a singing toy which calmed down my niece a lot Cons -It's a kid's store but it has a lot of things kids shouldn't touch right at their eye levels -They mandate booking a changing room in advance but we waited for an extensive amount of time while they let someone else into our charging room- and then rushed us out of the room after only one dress instead of allowing my niece time to get used to the space and possibly be okay with trying on more dresses. Ultimately I would return since I like being able to see items in person instead of buying online. But I really recommend sticking to appointment times or making the rooms first come, first serve.
