Honestly I don't understand all the negative reviews about this store. I went on a Sunday afternoon, when the store theoretically should be torn up, and it was neat clean and organized. Perfectly zoned and all the clothes were in size order. There was an abundance of staff, so much so that the lady was folding clothes behind me as I shopped. For those saying the lines are always long, well... yeah. They are. That's old navy. The secret to this is to wait for a lull in the line and then quickly slip in there. If I had one negative, it's that this store seems somehow smaller than others I've been to. Not sure why this is, but I usually can spend a long time browsing in Old Navy and this time I felt I had seen all they had to offer in a matter of 15 minutes. Overall, fine. I prefer the Lake Grove location because of the size. But it's easy to shop, staffed well, and there's plenty of parking. read more

I cannot begin to tell you how disgusted I am with Old Navy at this moment. I placed two orders back on December 8 and you shipped them December 21. I called customer service on the 19 because my order was still pending, I was told the labels have been made but not put on the boxes yet. However you now can place an order and have it by Christmas, really but I will not have my stuff till end of day tomorrow, did you push mine as well as other peoples orders to the back who ordered well in advance for Christmas for the ones who had to shop last minute. I was told they would send this overnight well that did not happen I am not even surprised by that, I really have no words for your company at this moment except thanks for ruining the day hope you did not ruin anyone else's. As pp said the place is a mess. I purchased a dress that was under the $15 rack and it rung up 19.99. I told the cashier/manager she said it is on sale orig price was 24.99. I told her it was on the $15 rack, she just dismissed me. Then I wanted to exchange a pair of shoes for a different size, I did not have the receipt. She treated me like I was a criminal, said I had to fill out a form and they would mail me the receipt then I could exchange the item. It was just for another size, I had the receipt at home. I called the main customer service number and they said the policy is manager discretion. I spend over $300 the previous day and the same manager rung me up. I'm always purchasing stuff there. I've never even returned there before, so no red flags would have been set. She just wanted to be difficult. Too bad its so conveniently located to me, but that chic needs to go. read more

I go to this store at least twice a month. It's very close to my house and the prices are what really draws me in. They have a nice table with crayons and themed coloring pages which is really nice. Gives him something to do because to a 4 year old shopping for clothes is boring! I am one of those customers that really likes to be left alone and I can honestly say in the 4 years I have shopped there maybe someone spoke to me twice other than the cashier. For some they would complain about that but I like it. Old navy is messy, that's why the prices are so low... you can't expect Gucci service and to pay old navy prices. I love old navy and rarely have these issues at other locations, that's just a disclaimer before I complain a bit. This old navy is always a mess. The racks are seriously over filled with clothing and when I move things to look for my size I inevitably will knock some things off of the hangers. The size I need is also impossible to find because clearly no one bothers to match the size of the shirt to the size on the hanger. Isn't that why the hangers have sizes listed? To help find the right size? Nothing is more irritating than getting to the fitting room and realizing i grabbed the wrong size. To top off my crappy experience, today I wanted to purchase a dress, which I found under a sign that said $15, Cami dress. When the cashier scanned it, it said Cami dress $29.94 or whatever it was. I explained it to her and she proceeded to tell me it wasn't a Cami dress, despite me checking it beforehand and it ringing up as a Cami dress. Then I wanted a pair of shorts that was on a rack that said $10 shorts. They rang up as $24.95 or something to that effect. Same situation, it wasn't the right item, despite being directly under the sign. Finally I ended up buying one shirt that apparently was actually on sale and wasn't a mistake. The cashier was talking to other employees during my purchase and ignoring that I was clearly displeased at the misplaced EVERYTHING and misleading sale signs. I will be calling the company tomorrow.
