While shopping locally for a long sleeve, button down shirt/light jacket, I opted to make the drive to Boot Barn. After circling through the store for several minutes and not being able to locate any assistance, I notice someone randomly moving boxes back and forth hoping to go unnoticed. I ASK this person for assistance and see politely replied that they didn't have anything. Every time I step into their store this seems to occur. I'm disabled from a motorcycle accident and have an unsteady gait. Instead of being treated normally, I'm avoided and spied upon. Amazon here I come. read more

We were waiting to get checked out and their was a older lady(didn't catch her name) but their was a guy and a older lady that was at the register. I was hoping to but a pair of boots here. Unfortunately the staff isn't interested in customer service. They say "hi" and "thanks for coming " but failed to notice a customer in boots searching for her size. While trying on one pair I asked an employee passing by about the boot and she stated "Araits have a high arch" and walked away. If you wear a size 10 in women don't expect much of a selection. This store is exactly why people shop online. Little to no help with merchandise. I can order and try shoes on in my home and get better customer service! Very disappointed with the customer service I was provided with. I purchased an item that wasn't cheap, when I got home realized it wasn't in my bag, I called the store and the manager told me "they didn't have it snd couldn't help me." Disappointed with no effort being given to compensate or resolve the issue. Will not return to this boot barn. read more

My husband I went in to Boot Barn to return a pair of boots that were not as high quality as we expected. The boots ( new to their inventory) had worn dramatically within a month. We kind of took a chance going in having lost our receipt but they were able to find and verify our purchase on their computer and offered a full refund. The manager, Amber, and all of the employees were very understanding and personally helped us find a new boot in the store. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. They have a high selection of boots to choose from and you can count on these ladies to find you the right boot and treat you with respect. read more

This is the worst Boot Barn I have ever been to. I live in Chico and usually go there but I happened to be in Redding that day and stopped on the way home. I walk in the store and thought I might be invisible because there was no greeting as I'm used to in Chico store. I practically had to beg for a dressing room, there were at least 3 girls working but all were hiding in the back of the store. Not one time did anyone ask me if I needed help finding a certain item. Someone could've emptied the entire store and they would've had no clue. The only reason they get one star is because they had the sweater I wanted. Horrible horrible people skills, somehow I thought they would require those skills working in retail. read more

It was the first time that I've had the pleasure of going to the Boot Barn. I felt that a great selection of clothing at a decent price, when I had reached the register to pay for my clothing I overheard a lady ask a serviceman if he was listed in the service man replied that yes he was. And to my surprise the cashier gave him 50% off of his total purchase! So I highly recommend if you have not been there you need to go there and support companies that support our troops. Horrible!!! Spent allot of money , could not get help when first there so bought a pair of boots and they say when we returned the boots that FELL APART we bought the wrong ones. Well if we would have had help the first time maybe we would have purchased the correct ones. After two months of wear, zipper broke, could almost see through them so we took them back, they would not make it good at all, the district manager actually yelled at us in front of other customer asking us what we did to the boots after normal wear. Then showed us other boots that people "who really work for a living wear". So rude and shaming. And by the way we do work hard for a living. I tried to contact the home office, no help there either. I will never again shop this store after years of doing so. The staff was not bad until the district manager took over the problem. Too bad we wasted $150.00 of hard earned money at this store. Don't shop here unless you want to throw money down the drain. Shame on you boot barn for treating hard working people so badly. :( read more
