    Website said you had to wait 2 weeks to get tires installed but on Friday Friday 9am I went as my…read moredriver side front tire was very bad, dangerous to drive. Drove slowly to Walmart in Farmingdale Auto Ctr, oddly enough it didn't look busy at all, I didn't see cars coming or going no one around. I got out walked up to the Auto Care Entrance door, and it had a big sign saying "CLOSED" - "Please Come Again!" I thought that odd, since it was not a holiday, and there was no reason for your Auto Center to be closed as it opens at 8am. I was about to turn away, go home, and something made me go to the door to be SURE it was closed..but the door with the CLOSED sign opened! One Mechanic in there, and only one car in the 3 or 4 bays. I went to the guy behind the waiting area desk, as that door too was open too, and asked "So are you open or not? He seemed vague...said "Well, Yea, .... (like he wasn' too sure!) I said "you have a Closed sign on the door" (he said they were very busy) I said "YOu don't look real busy" he asked what I wanted, I said 2 tires, he told me usually you have to make an appt for that , no walk in's. I said when I got my battery 3 mos ago, I walked in! So long story short, they took me but asked where I was parked and if I was parked Close, again which was odd... I wondered why he'd care. I said I was parked very close. He said OK, but I'd have to wait a very long time though, 90 min maybe 2 hrs. I said "that's fine . I was very precise in what I wanted, said I needed 2 front tires, He explained the installation package was $18, I said that was fine and I knew from your website it included BALANCING, which of COURSE I'd want on new tires installed So , 25 MINUTES later, he tells me my car is finished ! It was most odd and I was happy about that, but I did not bother to look in the bay as I waited I didn't think they were anywhere near working on my car since I was told it could be 2 hrs. So when they were finished a short 25 min later, oddly enough, my car was not in the bay but was parked Exactly where I had left it, same spot, only turned around so that the front of the car was facing the open lot area. I was just very happy I was in and out in 25 minutes, but when I got home, I studied the Bill more closely and was actually frightened when I saw on it "BALANCE TIRES" - CANCELLED - DRV front and "Balance Tires" - CANCELLED Pass front! I NEVER asked then to NOT Balance my tires ! Of course I'd want my tires balanced; I don't care to have an accident or null your tire warranty! No wonder I only waited 25 minutes...they apparently didn't balance my tires! I have a hunch, cant be sure, but maybe the CLOSED sign was up, as perhaps they had equipment failure--maybe your Balancer machine didn't work and maybe that's why they were trying to turn people away? The guy was nice, but I was clear about I wanted the installation package with BALANCING. It seemed like they didn't want me looking in the bay area, which I why I think he told me it would be 90 min to 2 hrs, knowing I'd likely not stand by the bay window to look. I Also thought it odd when my car when it was done it was in the EXACT same spot I parked in, but turned around (more room to work I'm guessing) I called and called the Auto Dept Monday am, no one answers the phone. I'm afraid to drive my car as I don't know if my wheels were balanced or not, the bill would indicate they did not do this; I thought all new tires get balanced! I told them to do this. I finally emailed yesterday the ADMINISTRTIVE office, no answer yet.

    In regard to receiving a battery different than what I requested, here's my follow-up. It's not…read morethat the Walmart Farmingdale employees helped me; it's that I emailed the CEO of Walmart , explaining the problem, and enclosed my Yelp.com review. I received a response the next day. Heather looked into the matter, and decided I was correct, and issued a refund to my Walmart account. This made me appreciate Yelp.com and Walmart so much more.
