In response to my review to M spec, they claimed I needed front and rear brakes, a lie, only needed back brakes, front brakes weren't even 2 years old, they said I needed a new steering rack assembly, 2,500, I guess there technician is unqualified and still in training, all it needed was a sensor and recalibration, apparently they were going to rob me on that too, another 1,500 for a radiator it didn't need. I suggest to keep your distance from this shop and the manager who's willing to drain you dry. If you were a casualty of this business, go to E2 motor sports in Freeport, NY, go see Evan or Dylan, top notch work and honest people, M spec wanted over 8K to do work on my vehicle, E2 was 1000 dollars, that's quite the difference, M spec charged me close to that just to diagnose it, especially when I told him the history and problems of the car, I understand that they need to diagnose it, but really now, it was another rip off they provide. Had they have qualified technicians who did their job correctly, maybe they would have been able to do what E2 technicians can, or, I was just another person who fell in their trap, do yourself a favor next time your German vehicle needs work, give E2 a shot,and keep your distance from these crooks . read more

I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed by the service I received here from Steve Z and Nick, (I rarely post anything reviews in general) I felt compelled to write this one! I have much reservations about auto mechanic places especially being a woman that I may be taken advantage of or spoken to in a patronizing way. I had called to see if they would service other cars aside from European ones and they "do all", I was told at this branch. I brought my Jeep in asking if they would check if I needed new brake pads/rotors secondary to feeling while driving my car it felt a little bit off and it may be due to the wear and tear of the brake components. They happily checked and I was "told, shown and explained" that it's not necessary yet, and still have life to drive safely for a few more months (dependent on how I drive, of course). I was so impressed with their honesty and the thorough education of what was involved and how it should look and the degree of degradation before it needs to be changed. I will be back there when it's time to change and maintain one of the most important features in ensuring safe driving in my Jeep!!! Let me begin by saying that I treat my car as if it is my child so obviously I do my research prior to bringing it somewhere "new." That said, a good friend recommended M-Spec Performance and man am I glad I took his recommendation. Steve Z has a wealth of knowledge and his level of experience and professionalism is second to none. He quickly and kindly responded to ALL (yes, a lot) of my inquiries which in turn was the main reason I decided to give them my baby. Let's start with the obvious- if you have a performance BMW then NOELLE PERFORMANCE is 110% the way to go. It is by no means inexpensive but worth EVERY PENNY. My car felt like a rocket and drives beautifully as my daily. I appreciate how comprehensive and involved the tune actually is as compared to "piggy-back" tunes that just don't do the car justice. Great shop. Steve, the service manager went beyond for me. Been looking for somewhere other than the dealership to bring my M-B ML. Found M-Spec in Lindenhurst. Super easy making an appointment with Steve. Shop was easy to find, big, and clean. The customer lounge is well-lit and clean. The day I brought my car in, the technician wasn't available. Instead of having me come back another day, Steve, in addition to checking me in, did all the work on my ML. He showed me exactly what needed to be done and my options.
