    Large cheese pizza

This was a great spot to grab some fried food and pizza! The fried zucchini was great! Definitely my favorite way to get in my veggies lol. The pizza was a classic cheese pizza and super yummy. They also offered many drink options including a full bar. I ordered a vodka with orange juice and the vodka option was Tito's. Excellent.

Lunch: Cauliflower veggie pizza with added chicken and Italian Sausage.

Great service! A family rich atmosphere with a down home, country feel. The Cauliflower pizza was great. We ordered the '10 inch pie to share because we were walking. We also ordered the stuff cherry peppers and were pleasantly surprised!

We were headed to another business downtown and decided to try this restaurant. It's located on Main Street so although getting a parking space in front is not likely, there are a couple of other free parking options close by. Fortunately, we only had to circle back around only once to get a spot close by. The cafe offers both American and Italian options. I ordered the meatball sub and my husband ordered the lasagna and meatballs, which came with a side salad. When we arrived shortly after 1p, there were only a couple of other tables with customers. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the various dishes and we tried one of her suggestions. The restaurant has more of a cafe feel. At the entrance is a display case filled with great looking desserts. The meatballs were huge and tasted really good. I'm pretty picky about marinara sauce because I think it's hard to find one as good as my own recipe made with all natural ingredients and home grown organic tomatoes; however, we both thought their sauce was good and tasted home made. It seemed a little pricier than I would expect from a cafe but I don't mind paying a little more for quality food. I'm excited to return to try their pizza.

Amazing place . Food is second to none !!! A true NY place . Not some wanna-be. The meatball parm is value for your money along with a great taste.

This restaurant was newly opened, per the owner around 45 days when we visited. There wasn't a lot of people here but it was later in the day and the area winds down early. The larger open area inside has plenty of seating and we were served by a young local server who was cute and friendly. We decided on the antipasto plate for four and others had the eggplant parmesan sandwich and a Philly cheesesteak. The food was all pretty good. I think since most of the places are geared around the Mayberry theme if you're not into that and want some good food this is the place to go.

A brand new place just opened in mount airy off the tourist beaten path. Owned by an Italian American who is very proud of his place which is nice to see. He comes by the tables and talks to customers. His eggplant parmesan sandwich my son ordered and I tasted was absolutely comforting and delicious. Perfect balance of bread, parmesan and Italian red sauce with cheese. The basket of fries was a little small and lifeless though. The antipasto platter for 4 was very good and definitely enough for the 3 of us. I tried his cannoli which he said he makes cream from scratch and a must try ..and I admit it was pretty good and similar to the Italian cannolis I've had growing up. Ya, as an Italian American myself, I can recommend this place, just stick to the Italian stuff and don't bother with the fries. The place was spacious and clean and the service was very friendly.

If you love flavor and good quality food, you MUST give Boo's Kitchen a try! Not only did we feast on some of the best Italian food we've ever had (straight from an Italian grandmother's recipe book), but the service was great, and the family that owns and operates the restaurant couldn't have been more of a joy to talk to! We stuck to the Italian side of the menu for our first visit, but the cheesesteak we saw delivered to another table looked so amazing we can't wait to go back to try that and other offerings from the American side of the menu next! Please go experience the food, meet the family, and help this young business grow!

The food was really good. Cheese sticks! Yum! The service was great! The dessert was great! The eggplant Parmesan was delicious but I asked for light sauce but goodness there was too much. Overall a great place though! The ambiance was great too! Welcome to Mount Airy and we look forward to eating there again!

Ok y'all, this IS the real deal! Italian cuisine in Mayberry RFD... who would've guessed? Boo, Ernie, and family are doing it right. They bring to life their family recipes in a wonderful atmosphere right on Main St. Snappy Lunch ain't got nothing on this team! . Their meatballs are the best I've ever had and in my 63 years I've been to hundreds of authentic Italian eateries. The personal pizzas are fantastic. And if you've never had a rice ball... just ask Boo. She and Ernie are so friendly, greeting and chatting with everyone. You enter as a customer and you leave like family... no joke. Loved our lunch and meeting the family. I highly recommend you give them a try! I'll be back for some of their famous lasagna !!

They have several different options, but my favorite is a hot dog and fries. They do use red hot dogs which I think are superior in the hot dog game. Worth stopping in if you're in the area!

We pulled in a parking place right in front of the Dairy Center mid afternoon, As you walk in they have a small counter to the left and a couple booths and tables to the right. All the walls are decorated with things from before the 60's! Also, they will also serve you in your car! We were quickly greeted by a very friendly smile. I started off with a Pepsi, even thought I'm a Coke guy. I didn't mind because this place is special. After a few sips of Pepsi, we ordered. I got a cheese burger with onion rings, ok one of the best I have ever had and the Onion rings were the best!!, My oldest Grand Daughter also got a Cheeseburger with fries and polished it off and loved the crinkle fries! The youngest Grand Daughter got a Grilled Cheese! Our waitress was amazing, Hannah went above and beyond to make my Grand Daughters feel very special that day!! She made the oldest smile sooo Big after a VIP experience it was very heart warming! What Hannah didn't know at the time was that the oldest was diagnosed with Leukemia just after Easter, and smiles do not come that often. As I took a picture of those two, they made me tear up.... There is so much good in the world and I wish everyone would have seen Hannah's beautiful heart that she shared with these girls! Also, the gentleman flipping the burgers was amazing as well, he could be the owner! He was soft spoken with a giving heart! If you live in the area, please stop in and say thanks to them, and enjoy the food and service! If you are passing by, don't pass up this hidden Gem! As my friend and neighbor Lee sings...God Bless the USA!
