OK - really 4.5 stars, but my experience was good enough that I'll not break the 5 star string. I had heard good things about this place and had a chance to check it out for a take home lat lunch, so I did. Quite a large menu with good variety - if one can't find something that pleases them on this menu, one might as well give up on eating altogether! It's about as fusion as can be - American, Mexican and Indian dishes can all be found. I typically enjoy most Indian dishes but didn't have a taste for one when I was there, so I'll defer that choice to a future visit. Finally decided on a Philly Cheesesteak - went with the straight forward American faire. First of all, I took this item home to eat and I live about 20 minutes away. I was worried that my sandwich might get cold, but the way it was wrapped, it was still nice and warm when I got to my house. Most Philly's Ive had are beef, cheese and onions. But this also had a nice variety or yellow, red and green peppers on it. All thinly sliced and crunchy fresh. A nice inclusion on this dish. A decent sized sandwich and at $9.95 with tax I'd say it was fairly priced. Finally, I believe it was both the owners working in the store that day and they were helpful and outgoing. My friends and I stumbled upon this restaurant when looking for something close to O'Hare. We were blown away by the hospitality and service! My partner had just graduated before this meal, and the chef made us a special, complimentary dessert which was so kind. The server really went above and beyond to take care of us. A true hidden gem! I must've driven by this place so many times, but never really saw it until I was told about it by a friend, and now I'm hooked. I've been here a handful of times so far, mostly to pick up my food to-go. But every time I walk in and place an order, the owners are the absolute SWEETEST, they'll chat with me for a bit and they've even offered me a small and delicious treat while I wait. No guarantees for anyone else lol, this has just been my experience! I'm vegetarian, and have ordered something different on their vegan menu every time I come here and I've never been disappointed. This place is amazing! My mom was getting her hair done next door so had time to kill and was hungry. I ended up getting the clucker sandwich and garlic mozzarella bites. The sandwich was so good. It was light and very fresh but filled me up as well. And the mozzarella bites weren't bad either. And the lady included a free sample of bbq sandwich and it was good and had a sweetness to it. And the lady was really nice and and patient with us. My mom ended getting food afterwards and waited there and gave us some nachos to try and I couldn't stop eating them as well lol. I wish I tried this place before but better late than never! I was greeted by the owner with a warm welcome. I decided to eat my food there since the Arabic music was playing and just gave this vibe that I wanted to stay. I ordered the beyond cheesy burger! It melted in my mouth. The sautéed corn was the star of this meal. I loved it! The cauliflower bites had this light crunch that left you wanting more.
