Really disappointed with the service here. I understand they are just starting up, so we may try again in the future and update review. Arrived to very busy place with hostesses tripping over each other at the counter. Plenty of staff hired. While there were five or six empty tables, we were told it would be a twenty minute wait and we could wait in the bar. We got to the bar and ordered margaritas and were texted that our table was ready before we even got our drinks. We then were escorted to our table. Margaritas were poorly made and tasted like simple syrup on ice. Quick service at the table and we ordered and appetizer and two meals. One meal was served immediately while we still had no appetizer and no meal for my wife. Finally the second meal was served with our appetizer. Chicken wings were served cold and some of the wings were rock hard and over cooked. No good. The meals were just ok. I really liked the burger, although the fries were over salted and soggy. We had asked for side sauces and the waiter forgot, so had to bring them back later. When management asked us how everything was, we reluctantly told them about the issues we had encountered. They were very apologetic and did give us a discount, which wasn't necessary or expected. Overall, the actual environment here was great. Love the TV's everywhere and the prices were very reasonable. Boomerjack's in Fairview/Allen has become our new go-to spot. So many of our friends have also migrated from other bars and restaurants to here, also. So, it's a friendly crowd, for sure! And the prices are AWESOME! But the reason they get five stars from me is the staff. They are amazing, friendly, know your name and your beer, always a smile, etc. it's a total Cheers situation! I've even had a situation where a manager had to ask me to quiet down (got a bit loud, it happens). Even in this situation, they were really great. That manager and I are buds now, too! We were excited to try this new restaurant and had high hopes for a cool new sports bar. The set up and bar is cool...lots of TV's and a great outdoor patio. The service is sub par. Managers standing around doing nothing. They have no interaction with the employees or customers. Our entrees came out first and no one said anything about why we didn't get our appetizers or side salads first. After we were done with our entrees we were asked if we still wanted our fried pickles and salad. The burger was not even seasoned. My husband didn't take more than three bites because it was tasteless and our bartender never asked if we were unhappy with our meal because he clearly didn't eat it. Fries were greasy and inedible. My wings and beer were good. But that's about it. I gave it 3 stars for the wings, beer, TV's and patio. ***After writing this review and still at the restaurant the manger Jason came by and asked how everything this was. We were invited to the Grand Opening on December 1 but unfortunately we were on vacation. Gave them a couple of weeks to work out kinks and decided to go for dinner on 12/14/2019. We showed up a little after 5pm and it was packed with a 25 minutes wait for 2. Not a problem, they have a very unique way of letting you know when your table is ready. We went and sat in the outside patio/bar, and even though it was a winter night they had a fire going which keep you warm and the staff was nice. Our notice came that our table was ready so we went and got sat down. Waitress was very nice and always had a smile. Ordered Fried Pickles for appetizers and they were great, lightly battered so the flavor of the pickles wasn't overpowered. The beer was cold also. For dinner we ordered a BLT and a Rueben (I know, nothing fancy) and they were great. Nothing special on the presentation, but they didn't need to, let the food speak for itself. BLT was a the perfect combination between the three, you could taste all of them equally. The Rueben was a nice combination of fresh pastrami, 'kruat, and cheese. One of the best I have had. The banana pudding was more cookies and bananas then pudding but still very good. If you sit at the bar ask for Justin, he will definately take care of you and keep you entertained. If you sit at a table ask for Jesse, she always has a smile (She also started singing the theme song for the movie Cocktails for my father, "Aruba, Jamaca, oh I wanna take to ...) I have been to the other location in Wylie and swore I would never go to Boomer Jack's again. I was out voted last night (Friday). We had a group of 10 adults and about 8 teen girls. A few in the group left early while some arrived later. We were not acknowledged by the waitress who was overwhelmed with too many tables to manage efficiently for a good five minutes. we never received napkins, silverware or app plates util one of us got them from the back. The food was ok. It was very loud and not at all conducive to conversation. My Cobb salad was really good. The teens repeatedly asked for ranch dressing and finally just came over and took one of ours. I'm so glad Boomer Jacks opened in Allen. We have very few sport bars here so Boomer Jacks was much needed. We got here early on Sunday, 11:30AM, to avoid a wait and I'm glad we did. By the time we were done dining, they were on a wait. This place is a sports fans dream. You can literally pick any seat in the house and watch every game from said seat. It was awesome. I was literally watching 4 games at once. And to top it off, the food is pretty good. For an appetizer we had The Spinach Artichoke Dip and it was yummy - a little skimpy, but yummy. For lunch we had The Double Smash Burger with fries and Hand Battered Chicken Tender with fries. Both were tasty but the burger was the best. It was huge, juicy and loaded with all of the fixings. We went on a Sunday which is probably the busiest day during football season. It was pretty loud in there. The food was really good though. We didn't wait that long and both sandwiches that we ordered were really good. We went back on a Monday. It was much quieter. The place was less busy as to be expected. The issue that we had was it seemed like the food took twice as long to come out. It may be that they had less kitchen staff but not sure. They had plenty of people on the floor. The one thing that I wish was a bit better was in the two times we were there they didn't mention the specials. I had to ask for it (not sure if there is more than one) directly which seems like a good deal. I am not sure why they are not pushing it a bit more. Overall we will be back. read more

Went Friday night 6/17/22 was treated awful. No silver and water when seated. Placed my order and three people had to get what I ordered and still didn't have what I asked for. Had my four year old granddaughter with me and this place wasn't doing it for us. $30 bill only tipped $2 didn't know to tip. Shouldn't even did that but didn't want to wait for change. Since we didn't eat there I asked for boxes to go, girl brought one small box no bag. I threw it in the box and walked out. You go somewhere to relax no cooking and get treated like I'm too busy with other people. Ones that pay good tips. Sorry the little guy doesn't cut it. Had lunch there this week and was impressed with the heat all over the patios, the spacious dining rooms, the service and the food. I am eating Keto and was able to order a burger without the bun and it was a generous piece of beef...just wish they had used decent lettuce. Great food and a terrific place to watch football! I went with my family and we had a great time eating at Boomerjacks. The southwest egg rolls and the pretzel appetizers were well made. The egg rolls were crispy with a good amount of corn and beans. The pretzel was big enough for 4 people and the queso dip was delicious. The main entrees for us we're the monte cristo and the chicken wrap. Both those entrees and fries were very tasty. We could even finish them! We had to take them home! The 2 most important factors was that the food was affordable and the service was on point. We were surprised at how little we paid compared to other restaurants. The service was very friendly! We came for their opening weekend. Saturday College Championship day. It was crowded and we expected that. They did awesome! The service was great. The food was awesome! Everyone was so nice, the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. It's the perfect family atmosphere to come hang out, watch games, eat and drink! They have a ton of space. A lot of awesome outdoor areas to enjoy the Texas weather. They have a outside bar top with a fire pit. So many tvs. You will not have a problem watching a game! The employees were all so nice. Arrived around 6pm on a Tuesday. Hostess was nice and escorted me to the back wall in the center of the building, offered me standard table or booth and let me know the menus were online due to covid. Said my server would be Steven. Waited a few minutes and a young man approached asking if I'd been helped yet. He explained he would find my server and bring me a beverage which he seemed to do. At 6:38 a waitress stopped by asking if she would like a drink and if anyone had been back by. Shortly after, a manager approached, apologized and offered the fries on the house telling us they were not put into the computer. I hadn't seen Steven since. We got the fries and they were tasty. The third member of our party showed up and didnt receive a visit or drink upon arrival. The same female server stopped by again asking if he had been helped and we said no. She said she would find out what's going on. We waited and waited. No one. My sister went off to find someone to give her a to go box for the fries and we decided not to bother ordering our entrees or to go orders. I needed to order about $100+ worth of food to go and I really wanted to try the desserts. Took my business elsewhere because I had to get home. It was like the twilight zone. While the staff was friendly, there was something odd happening here. This was my first visit and sadly, it will be my last. Very weird. I thought maybe it's a covid thing but their patio and bar seemed to be bustling and functional. Perhaps this is mostly just a place for drinking. There's a lot of TVs. Also, the quesadillas were so dry they didn't stay together and the chicken fingers were fried bread, almost no meat in them. We called to get the orders remade. When we arrived we checked the orders to see they were wrong again. You would think if you serve someone raw food they would make sure to fix their mistake. This place is a mess.
