love this neighborhood bar. so friendly, and the food and drinks are TO DIE FOR. they have cheap strong cocktails, and a self serve beer wall with 7 beers and one cider on tap. they have a huge comfy patio to hang out with friends. their new mexican style food has a huge history in denver. their new chef is from a famous family who had three jack n grill restaurants. they were featured on a famous tv show like diners, drive ins, and dives. it's my favorite green and red chile in colorado. he has been operating a food truck for a while and now has a brick and mortar place (Oct 2024). they have enchiladas, burritos, burgers, quesadillas, sopapillas, all the good native new mexican dishes. please support them because we need them to be successful :-) !! read more

I arrived just before 8pm. I ordered food and opted for the pour your own beer card that tracks by ounces poured. At about 8:25pm I went to pour another beer to wash down the rest of my meal. I was told they were closed. I could not have another beer, but I could stay and finish my food. Food was mediocre. Service terrible to treat a customer this way. I was one of 3 patrons. Yikes...I've never been so uncomfortable in an establishment before. The layout is awkward and unwelcoming. The staff weirdly lingered when taking our order. The food tasted greasy. The drink selection is lacking; they were out of several mixers and cans from the menu, and many of the self-serve beers weren't working. When we got the check, it was split into one for drinks and one for food which is inconvenient. The ceiling fans have black gunk on every blade. Went for trivia last week, and was immediately confused by every choice they made. It's a jumble of long tables for large parties, and small tables smashed up against the large tables for maximum weird seating. While there is plenty of room, it is apparently impossible to utilize it correctly, so I hope you enjoy having a drunken goofball bumping his chair against yours if it's busy! If you want your burger overcooked, and your fries undercooked, this is the place for you! The self pour beer walls are typically for showcasing various breweries, but instead looks like it's curated by the twenty one year old guy who still shows up to high school parties. Ambiance was good but T.V needed sound while watching a basketball game.They had no subtitles either.We had no clue what they were saying. Music was only on one side of the bar. Paintings were nice. Atmosphere was clean. Everything was over priced and had only few options. No jalapeños or any type of spicy peppers. Margaritas came with no salt or sugar around the rim. The food is fantastic! I ordered the red chili bowl and one beef taco. Both items were deliciously good-plenty of pork and seasoned perfectly that we ordered a "to go" of the chili for later! Hubby had a burger that he enjoyed very much. His amber beer was also a big hit! The staff were really friendly and immediately made you feel comfortable and welcomed. Great new place in Denver! The breakfast burritos are luscious and they have nitro cold brew (and lots more brew of the hoppy persuasion) on self-service tap, which is cool! The place has a welcoming, laidback vibe and the employees are down-to -earth and downright friendly. What a wonderful experience! We walked to this new neighborhood spot with our toddler in hope's to grab some coffees and food for these tired mama's! We ordered two iced lattes, two burritos (one bacon, one chorizo), and an order of churros! The food was soooo delicious! I heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it out. I was not disappointed at all in the breakfast burrito. Portions are big and the prices are a great value. The place is really cute with a back patio and a fire pit. The inside has a fun decor including garage doors that open up an actual old-school boom boxes. It was too early to drink but I was asking the owner about one of the wines on top so he gave me a sample of it and it was delicious.
