The last bastion of brick and mortar book stores left of the chains next to Barnes and Nobles. Do yourself a favor and put the technology down and read a book. You'll be amazed at the wealth of collection of books, toys, games, etc. Thankfully, there is NO.. I repeat.. NO Starbucks inside. Joe Muggs is much better. If you plan on making this store a habit, which is very easy to do, be sure to get a yearly membership. They aren't expensive, and the membership gives you great discounts on books for your home library. Don't be surprised if you spend hours here. The possibilities from children to recipe books to technology.. All here. The store isn't all neat and pretty like a B&N. But it does its job just fine.

Cute shop, surprisingly extensive selection of used books, tote bags, toys, & other fun…read moreknick-knacks. I went there for the first time yesterday to trade-in some books. The process was super easy. I went partly in hopes of finding a used copy of a novel my Book Club has been wanting to read, but isn't at the library. I was shocked/overjoyed to find TWO copies, both of which I purchased on the spot. Great value for sure. Can't wait to go back & browse their selection more fully when I have more time. (I will definitely be bringing more books to trade-in also.) *The shopping center where this is located has a lot of other fun gems also- check out Ferrucci's!

I love physical books, but don't buy them often because I have a Kindle and because they've gotten expensive over the years. HOWEVER, give me a deal and it's on! HAHA! I had never been to this book store until the sale. It's small, but there's such a good selection of used books. The used books are also in really good shape. The team member on site the day we went was GREAT! He took the time to assist us in looking for books on our lists and giving us recommendations for other books to read. I also like the idea that you can bring the books back that you purchase, for a percentage off on your next book. Check them out, explore the selection they have, and support local!

Love this place!!! Decided to meet up with a friend for coffee (well tea for me) and she suggested…read morethis place as 'the perfect spot'. And it was. I read through some of the other reviews and I want to set the record straight. Yes, it's inside a church but there is a separate entrance. Yes, there are Christian books but also other genres. Yes, the coffee is very affordable BECAUSE all the staff are volunteers. No one is getting paid and they LOVE what they do. All smiles and great service. The proceeds go to local and global missions of the church. Win, win all the way around. The place itself is very spacious. Two levels. The seating areas are comfortable and far enough apart you can have some semiprivacy if you need it. My friend who brought me says she comes here all the time to study (she's in college). All of the staff knew her by name. (love places like that) I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't really speak to the coffee (although my friend says it's pretty good). I am a tea drinker though and they have a variety of flavors, some refresher juice drinks, a few pastries. Please support. Every now and again if you're thinking of getting coffee or a pastry, choose them. Why not? Do some good for the community through others who are committed to giving back.

Whenever we visit cities outside our hometown area, we always look for bookstores ... used books…read moreor new. On this visit to Charlotte, NC we stopped in at the Book Rack. Besides a focus on mystery and thrillers, they really had most genres covered. Most of the books here ... and they claim tens of thousands of books ... are used, and are generally on consignment from somebody. So quality varies, and you might find two copies of something in very different conditions and at matching price points. That being said, the selection was exceptional and well worth investigating. The Book Rack had an especially large selection of kids books ... which was great for us. The only downside of some of these large holdings is that they aren't all classified and organized. Sometimes a certain genre will just be stacked in crates or boxes ... but don't let that dissuade you. There are treasures to be found here. If you like books and enjoy the hunt, this place is for you. Recommended.

I brought two books on house plants and planting in containers. I couldn't find any pies making or pound cakes baking books that were on my list but I emailed them to today to ask if any of these are available. They replied right away. Even though they didn't have the books I wanted. The customer service was great. They're willing to reserve these books if those come in. The cost of all the used books can be $5 to $8 which is great.. And if you follow them on Instagram. There's specials sometime. Go check them out
