Let me just say I had a mess going on with my hair and it needed some TLC FAST!!! I arrived just on time because I needed to get my workout in :) Sybil will understand that one lol I was immediately greeted by Lindsey and Sybil and I knew I was going to love this studio and I absolutely do!!! Sybil was not bothered in the least bit about how much work needed to be done to make my hair look amazing again since I was without a hair dresser. She was so friendly and entertaining, it honestly felt like I've known her for years. We had so much in common that for once I didn't mind sitting in that chair for almost 3 hours. I also loved the fact that she got opinions about how to do my hair correctly before making a decision that would affect my hair in a positive or negative way. She blended the color so well in order to fix the "band" of blonde running towards the back of my head from the last highlights I had in June. She then listened to me and made suggestions so that I could afford this look on a less regular basis. She also gave me great recommendations for hair products that were for the type of hair I have. I bought those products and have been loving them ever since!!! Sybil also cut my hair in a way that it doesn't feel like 50lbs of hair on my head and I'm finally able to wear it down without it poofing all over the place. The music was reggae.... so of course I was having a blast. The positive vibe in this studio is amazing!! All the staff were so friendly and always asking if I wanted coffee, water or anything else to make my visit the best it can be. I honestly can't wait to go back again!! Previously, the spa manager, Jeanne, refused to book a same-day massage without a credit card, despite my history as a returning client. Her tone was overly explanatory and came across as condescending. More concerning was what happened today. We arrived for a 1:00 PM massage booked three weeks in advance and were already in robes in the waiting area when Jeanne informed us that my massage therapist was not there. I calmly asked how she would resolve the situation. She repeatedly stated she was "sorry" but "couldn't do anything." When I asked for a solution, she became defensive, called me disrespectful, and said I was rude. She then spoke about me to staff within earshot in the lobby, refused to identify her manager, stated she was a partner, and ended the conversation. There was no effort to resolve the issue or take accountability. Based on this experience, I will not return.
