This bank has offices scattered throughout the downtown core. We occupied the ninth floor. I loved the location. I'd take the GO train from Markham down to Union Station, and take the PATH briefly to Brookfield Place. There are a bunch of elevators that don't all go up to the same floors. You need to find the floor interval that suits where you want to go. If you are a visitor, Brookfield Place is beautiful. I remember taking a couple of Swedish colleagues to a Toronto Maple Leafs game and we passed by my old workplace. The Hockey Hall of Fame is located in Brookfield Place. I suggested that they go, as they were huge hockey fans like I am. They went the following day and absolutely loved it. My love for Starbucks is due to working at Brookfield Place. I'd drop downstairs to get a drink and take a breather. It's convenient to do a bit of shopping or grab a bite to eat. There's a food court where there are many fast food eateries. I'm sure they have changed since I was last there. There is also a Longo's Market. I'd often get cubed fruit, such as watermelon and cantaloupe, that was easy to eat at my desk to keep me content throughout the afternoon. There used to be a Marche, where you can choose from sandwiches and hot meals. I don't think it's there anymore, but it was awesome. The top floor is where you get to see the high glass ceiling and gorgeous architecture. I didn't appreciate it when I worked here because it was a fairly crazy time in my life working full-time and doing a master's degree part-time. However, when I have returned as a visitor, be it during Nuit Blanche or when I'm heading to Scotiabank Arena, I appreciate how beautiful the crystal cathedral of commerce is. My favourite memory will always be lining up with a few colleagues to get a free heart rate monitor on the first floor of Brookfield Place. We enjoyed missing a bit of work, chatting with one other, and getting a health gift in return. I gave mine to my parents and they still use it to this day. I miss Brookfield Place and the various giveaways that take place. I don't miss the job that I had or the stress that I had experienced. Luckily, I do get to drop by whenever I'm attending a concert. This is also connected to the underground path network which has a few connections to the main walkways. transit options are union ttc subway station and the 504 king streetcar (both the A and B versions, in both directions) , both options come with a bit of a walk, as this is down on college away from both the station and the surface stop. parking is in the area, but it would be above or below private lots with a bit of a walk. love coming here, even if its random, or out of the blue.

I really didn't want to leave a bad review…read more I went in Monday for a blowout with a friend before a wedding we were going to. I have very long hair, just above belly button, and had previously thought about cutting it bc it was getting too long / weighing down. That said, I did not want to get my hair cut at a blow dry place. I just wanted a wash and some light curls. I go in, the stylist says my hair is too long to hold the blowout, recommends trimming it. I say a trim would be nice, thank you, no more than 2" please. After the wash, he brushes my hair and says "are you ready?" I get nervous bc why would I need to mentally prepare myself for a trim? So I stop to say please do not cut more than 2" and I show him where on my chest i want it to fall. I repeat this many times, and say I will be so upset if he cuts more, please do not cut more, no more than this length. He replies of course, do not worry, I'd never do you dirty. I can tell by how long it takes for him to cut the hair that it was a lot. He puts it in front of me and I immediately panic. I get so upset I want to cry , I say this is 6", what the hell did you do, I told you no more than two. He insists it is 3", but he's holding a full ponytails worth of my hair. I literally show him inch by inch how much he cut, but he stands by it and says it will look amazing. I'm so upset, but tell myself I wanted a cut anyway, so whatever. He then blow drys and curls it , but it's pretty uneven, so I go in the bathroom to finger comb it through furiously. I have to tell him to recurl one side bc it's going in opposite directions. I start to like the length, and calm down. I laugh about it with my friend and we joke about how this will be a funny story. I did give him a decent tip , and wasn't going to post about it because I thought, whatever things happen. The following morning though, once the curls drop -- and for context I have pin straight hair, never really style it -- and I look in the mirror. You can see by the photo alone how atrocious the cut it. He said he's cut hair for 10+ years, but how the hell could that be true when he was proud of that cut. I can't speak to other stylists, but the man did not respect what I asked for and gave me a really awful cut. I now have to pay more money to fix a haircut that happened against my consent. I understand people have bad days, and want to be empathetic to that, but I do also want to share my experience to make sure others do not experience the same.

I originally brought it to another mobile repair shop and was told there was absolutely no hope to recover my vacation photos and that my phone could not be saved, which was absolutely devastating news. I brought it to Mobile Klinik for a second opinion and Bhavik worked hard and fast to successfully retrieve my invaluable photos and even got my phone to work again!! During the time it was in his hands, he provided me regular updates via email and phone to let me know what was going on. You can imagine how grateful I was at this miracle! My most recent visit was for my fiancé's Samsung S7 which had a cracked screen and inflated battery that had tore the phone's seam apart. He had it fixed in 24 hours. Before I said yes to the Samsung repair, Bhavik did some testing on the phone to ensure the motherboard and charge port were not damaged from the fake charger my fiancé had used. Phone technicians are like mechanics to us regular people - you have no choice but to trust them to perform quality work and to not rip you off. Once you find an honest technician, don't let them go! Thank you to the team at Mobile Klinik!

A Masterclass in How Not to Run a Business…read more I'm writing this review so no one else has to go through what we did. I chose Mobile Klinik to buy an iPhone as a Mother's Day gift specifically because of their reputation as a trusted Canadian brand. What followed was four cancelled transactions across two buyers, zero communication, and $530 frozen in limbo for up to 12 business days. Here's how it works: you place the order, payment goes through, and then hours later it's silently cancelled. No explanation. No heads up. We went through this cycle four times before realising that Mobile Klinik apparently cancels orders from overseas customers, or out of province as a "security measure" even when paying from a canadian bank account -- something that is mentioned absolutely nowhere on their website at any point during checkout. Mother's Day came and went with no gift and no money. Their customer service team responded with copy-paste replies, couldn't provide a refund reference number, couldn't escalate, and couldn't do anything to make it right. For a company with physical locations across Canada and a polished website, the operational reality is shockingly poor. They take your money instantly but returning it is apparently a 12-business-day ordeal. Do yourself a favour, use Orchard or buy directly from Apple. Mobile Klinik is not worth the stress.
