I highly recommend Dr Bowden and his PA Sean. Their office staff are so sweet and helpful. In fact I have recommended them to several friends after a friend recommended them to me. I appreciate the caring and compassion the whole team has provided to me. Tory is especially helpful and always returns my calls when I have questions about an upcoming procedure.

I saw Christine a pa I think then my doctor comes in a does trigger points which is what I expected bc when he did the epidural injections I told him my follow up was fine for triggers even asking if J have to schedule it so appt on 5/12/26 and I went in expecting to get them to be told no which zi cried bc my back is hell when my muscles are this tight and covered in knots saying he did it hem when he did epidural injections which no he didn't. I would have known feeling them in my muscle and I would not be in the pain I am in now. They are the only relief I get. He didn't come in to check my muscle just no. If the and is check it will show I'm right but didn't matter. Christine pushed me out like I didn't matter and left me with very tight muscles shoulders neck shoulders blades covered in knots. U wouldn't be like this if they were done 2 werks ago nor would I come in expecting them.Epidural injections are shit didn't g but cause these issues and since I was crying I was pushed out only concern was drug testing and med refills. She didn't ask why I feel the epidural injections didn't work nothing just left in fucking pain and had me rescheduled for 3 weeks without additional pain meds bc I go theough them kine candy bc this pain goes into my head and I'm chained to a desk 65 hours a week. Instead of listening they weren't done forced me to be hell for 3 weeks. My doctor normally listens and nope. Mistakes are made. If he did them one I would have felt them and 2 my back wouldn't be so bad. It was also a follow up spot another 100 dollar co pay and she didn't ask about why I said they didn't work. Didn't discuss doing them agin but bc I was in tears in pain she pushed me out the door to get scheduled in 3 weeks so I'm left in this pain for 3 weeks and have to work one the phones. When this bad caused migraines. Triggers are my relief. I hate opioids.if he did them. If he did do trigger points I wouldn't have come to the appt expecting them if they were done. I have been getting these for over 12 years and never missed an appt and need them but left to be in pain. I'm sorry but this isn't ok. If the audio was reviewed from that day it would show I'm correct. I'm sorry about posting a bad review but no one deserves to be left in tears and not listened to. I also paid a 100 copay for this appt as well for nothing. I expect paying it if injections were done but nope so now I have to another copay inn3 weeks of 100. 300 in 7 weeks is a lot of money I don't reason I go 2 months between injections. I thought only the 109 was all I had to pay 100 for follow nor nothing to be done. I was suppose to be called prior to spot to go over cost but of course wasn't and it took 7calls to schedule the follow up appt which is wvwrytime which huge incovience but I deal with it. Told to call in 2 weeks o I do then to to call on a certain date so I do but order for triggers not put into have to calm back in sorry for this review but no ok to not listen to patient and leave them in pain and another copay 30" inn7 weeks I don't have. Not the best placed if you want pain relief and to be listened to. In over 12 years first time I cried like J did and wasn't listened to and the fu wasn't a fu bc nothing wasn't discussed about epidural injection. I hope this review will open eyes and the audio to show I am correct and patients will listen and the doctor also to come in room and check. Long time patient I k ow how it works and if I was given them I would expect them at the spot. Mistakes are made and that fine but I go to the doctor to help with pain relief not be pushed out and left in pain that runs into my head with enough meds to help.

I've had CRPS, osteoarthritis, multiple herniated discs both cervical and lumbar and chronic migraines. In short, I'm a hot mess. I primarily see Dr. Nasser and NP, Amelia Campbell and their attention to my concerns and thoroughness has been incredible. When I was in PT trying to avoid spinal fusion, I mentioned how painful it was, I know PT can hurt, I've had both hips and knees replaced. However, when I told Amelia I was leaving PT crying she sat me down and encouraged me to remember that while it can be uncomfortable, what l was experiencing could be doing more harm than good. She also said it could just be a bad fit and maybe I could see a different provider as there are many approaches to PT. The extra ten minutes she spent with me helped me remember to self advocate. Anyway, she cared and her advice was very helpful. The office staff are efficient, friendly and kind. In all the years I've been there, they've only run behind one or two times. I highly recommend them.

I went for my monthly appointment today. Their office isn't close and it's not easy for me to drive, I'm disabled. The Dr told me their systems are down so they can't send in my medication electronically. I said ok, what do we do? He said, I will send it in once the system is back up. I said ok, no problem. Do you want me to call of there are any issues? He said no, I will definitely send it for you, I won't forget! I felt reassured. Fast forward a couple hours. I just got a call, guess who? Advanced Pain and the rude staff! Brianne tells me the system is still down and to drive back to the office to get a paper prescription. I tell her it's far and I can't drive back. I said, how about I just call back tomorrow and check to see if things are up and running? She said "we don't know when the system will be back up". I said, that's ok , I don't mind calling. Then she said "no, you can come back here to get it." If this is the case, why wasn't I given a paper prescription by the Dr when I was in the office a few hours ago! These people do not give a damn about customer service or their patients. They mess up prescriptions, billing, copays, and they are rude and hateful. I have had every type of issue you can imagine with them, and this is the tip of the iceberg. Update: Advanced Pain dropped the ball again, shocking right? Today I called and spoke to Donna and their system is still down, shocking right? So I asked them to mail my RX to me. They said "we can't mail a narcotic prescription." I said ok I'm disabled and rarely drive so what can be done? They said just have someone else pick up your prescription. I said, "are you absolutely sure this won't be an issue?" Donna said no, it will be ready at the front desk. I said ok. (Knowing they're liars and incompetent) My wife drove there after work today and guess what? The RX was NOT at the front desk and they said "all the providers left so we don't have anyone to print the prescription." Advanced Pain, your staff is the most incompetent people I have ever met in my entire life! They need to find a job they're actually qualified for, something not patient or customer facing.

There is a 10 minutes grace period which he was told there is no grace period for the last appointment of the day something we were not told when booking the appointment and it is NOWHERE posted in the office. He was also told the provider was already gone just after 5 minutes something that I find very unfair because what if the provider is running later with a patient or is in the restroom then what! The patient has to wait Extra to be seen! This happened to him on his initial appointment, he got there 30 minutes before his appointment time ample time and he still had to wait 30 minutes more because provider was running late. Lastly, still haven't received a call from the back office team. It has been two weeks and according to their policy, 1 or 2 days and still waiting.

If you're in pain, look elsewhere for a resolution. How they are in business in Glendale, Scottsdale & Mesa is beyond me as I was informed that all the employees there work at all the facilities. I paid $80 for a co pay and was first seen by Jules, a nurse practitioner who within 10 minutes of being in the room with me told me I should have a medial branch block. She didn't explain what the two procedures actually were but just took me to the receptionist to make an appointment which I did. After leaving and not feeling educated as to what the procedures actually were, ,I called them back to get another appointment with a nurse practitioner the same week. I again paid another $80 co pay to have her explain the procedure which she did explicitly. I made an appointment for the medial branch block and went in for the procedure with sedation and was to be seen by Dr. Patel (the owner of the facilities). I went in for the branch block and was met by a guy who said his name was Izzy. I asked him what his job was there, and he said he was an IV tech (whatever that is). He placed an IV in my hand, told me to lay down on the table, put oxygen in my nose. I had asked him a few times when was I going to meet the doctor. He told me, "Don't worry, you'll meet him." I laid down on the table. Mind you, I was not hooked up EKG machine, and they didn't' even take my blood pressure (I have high BP). He then put his hand on the IV he inserted. I said, "I really want to meet the doctor because I'm nervous." Izzy's response was, "No problem, you'll meet him and before you know it, you'll be out." It was when he said you'll be out, I was out. There was no doctor in the room. Again, I'll repeat there was NO DOCTOR in the room. The next thing I knew I was in a wheelchair, don't ask me how I got in the wheelchair as I couldn't tell you. They DID NOT wake me up from the sedation but instead put me in a wheelchair, not checking BP or anything. Within twenty minutes I was being wheeled out to my husband's car and the girl holding the wheelchair told me to get up. My husband noticed that the foot guards were still up and told the girl to put them down. Good thing as I would have fallen. I called in the afternoon to say I had a headache and ask what could I take for the headache. NO RETURN CALL. I had a follow up visit with nurse practitioner and explained everything that happened telling her what happened and that it is actually illegal what they did. She tried to say that, "Maybe you just don't remember.". She said normally Dr. Patel doesn't like to talk to his patients but she's sure he would want to talk to me. (What? A doctor that doesn't want to talk to patients. Yes, you heard it right. Seems he's too busy with his practice to actually care to speak to patients. Well, Dr. Patel did call me while I was in the office but I had my phone off so NURSE says call him back. I called him back it went to voicemail. I left a message with all my concerns because his Scottsdale office said he was in a procedure but leave a message and he would call me when he was done. I have NEVER received another call back but do have his voicemail saying that perhaps I was confused as to who pushed the button to put me to sleep. It should have been a anesthesiologist but instead it was done by Izzy, a guy without proper medical training. There were three people in the room which I had asked each of them what they did. One girl said she was working there on an internship to be an anesthesiologist assistant. She said she was there for three weeks. There was another guy in the room, and I asked him what he did and he said he was a tech and he was there for two weeks. I am reporting this facility to the American Medical Association because they could cause severe bodily harm. I picked up my medical records and was shocked to see they dotted all their I's and crossed their T's as far as what was supposed to have happened. It in fact, was not done to a medical board's standards. If you're looking to have a procedure, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this travesty of a so-called medical facility. I have since gone to another provider in Scottsdale who actually did things the right way and they were so professional hooking me up to an EKG machine, BP etc. I would highly recommend not having any procedures at any of their facilities. They fall short on following medical procedures and could really hurt someone.

Unfortunately, something changed at the beginning of 2026 when many of the excellent providers left. One of them being Alina. My recent experience with the new provider, Janel Gutierrez, was extremely disappointing. During my appointment I felt spoken to in a very demeaning and dismissive way. The tone and manner in which she addressed me made me feel like I was being talked down to and treated as if I didn't matter as I was a piece of trash. She wouldn't listen to anything I was telling her. No patient should ever leave a medical appointment feeling that way. She also refused to refill medications that I have been stable on for years. Meds that can't be just stopped. This is very Dangerous for patients. In addition, I was told I needed to repeat numerous tests and procedures that had already been completed within the last six months. I even provided those results, yet it did not appear that my chart or records had been reviewed before these recommendations were made. I have always followed the clinic's policies and medical guidance, so this experience was incredibly frustrating and discouraging. It felt less focused on patient care and more focused on ordering additional tests and procedures that did not seem necessary. It's all about making money and not patient care. Based on my recent experience, I can no longer recommend this clinic. I sincerely hope they reevaluate how patients are treated and place patient care and respect back at the center of their practice. Do better Dr. Patel!
