So I am cutting ties with this place due to their lack of care and communication. 300 dollars to be sedated for 20 ish minutes. Just done. To clarify I was getting injections at this place and last year it was reasonable at 200 dollars. I know insurance changes etc. But 300 dollars for 20 minutes of sedation just seems extreme. Also, they did not even seem to care about withdrawals. I honestly thought this place cared about me and my health but with their lack of communication and setting me up for surgeries that I wasn't even privy to just sounds bad in my head.

Oxycodone 9.5 years and I would take them for 3 weeks then off a week and going back on them after the week off I realized I was in more pain after taking it dumb and I finally told him I wanted off of them we set a date and I have been off them over 3 years and in those over 3 years I started to hate and despise opioids. I am in less pain off of them and we started doing epidural injections with my trigger points and I am also on soboxone for pain not addiction to opioids and if I didn't like the soboxone and I wanted to back to Oxycodone then we would of went back to Oxycodone but since I went off it I have told him how much I hate it and it caused over 10,000 in dental because the sweet tooth it caused and dry mouth. No dental issues with Suboxone but I do a lot to keep it that way. When I was taking Oxycodone he would switch me to Vicodin to help with becoming immune to it but it didn't do anything and reason why is because it didn't make me feel like my aoxy did and absolutely I told him that so a pain doc you can say that to is wicked good. Only thing I will leave out is my doctor ors name because he's in high demand because he's good at what he does and his memory is insane which shows he pays attention and listens. Technology has come a long way and so many incredible treatment options that work other than opioids and mentally being off of them I am less fussy because my body craved it caused more pain. It's like feeding the beast. A lot of incredible providers and if you are lucky to get my doctor first visit you will know who he is. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Elite Pain and Spine Institute…read more I had an 8:30 a.m. appointment at Elite Pain and Spine Institute. I arrived at 8:00 a.m., completed all the new patient paperwork, and prepaid for my visit. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. As someone who has worked in the medical field, I understand how scheduling works. I know that appointments can run behind, unexpected situations arise, and patients sometimes require additional time. I have patience and understand the realities of running a medical practice. However, what happened during my visit was unacceptable. I waited until approximately 8:55 a.m. before my name was called. Another patient with the same appointment time was also called, and we were taken into separate rooms. They proceeded to see the other patient while I continued waiting. Eventually, someone came into my room and simply repeated the same information I had already provided on my paperwork. Afterward, she told me the doctor would be back shortly. I continued waiting until 9:15 a.m., at which point I had still not seen the doctor. I finally decided I had waited long enough and walked out. When I requested a refund, I was told I would have to wait because the payment had been processed through a corporate account. As someone in the medical field, I understand delays. What I do not understand is the lack of communication, consideration, and respect for a patient's time. If the office was running behind, a simple explanation and an estimated wait time would have been appreciated. Instead, I was left sitting in a room with no meaningful update. I also learned a valuable lesson: I will never prepay for a medical appointment again. This was an extremely disappointing first experience. I expect better from a medical practice, and I will not be returning. I hope management takes this review seriously and looks at how appointments are scheduled, how delays are communicated, and how refunds are handled. I've had CRPS, osteoarthritis, multiple herniated discs both cervical and lumbar and chronic migraines. In short, I'm a hot mess. I primarily see Dr. Nasser and NP, Amelia Campbell and their attention to my concerns and thoroughness has been incredible. When I was in PT trying to avoid spinal fusion, I mentioned how painful it was, I know PT can hurt, I've had both hips and knees replaced. However, when I told Amelia I was leaving PT crying she sat me down and encouraged me to remember that while it can be uncomfortable, what l was experiencing could be doing more harm than good. She also said it could just be a bad fit and maybe I could see a different provider as there are many approaches to PT. The extra ten minutes she spent with me helped me remember to self advocate. Anyway, she cared and her advice was very helpful. The office staff are efficient, friendly and kind. In all the years I've been there, they've only run behind one or two times. I highly recommend them.

Zeroed in on my neuropathy then started explaining about a very expensive surgery that is covered by medicare! Stike two! Then sent me to another room to fill out more paperwork. Wanted MRI of my spin, see a phycologist, Ekg, all of this as I was soaking wet! Not offer a gown or anything to get warm! Strike three! Not impressed with this place at all. Unfortunately, something changed at the beginning of 2026 when many of the excellent providers left. One of them being Alina. My recent experience with the new provider, Janel Gutierrez, was extremely disappointing. During my appointment I felt spoken to in a very demeaning and dismissive way. The tone and manner in which she addressed me made me feel like I was being talked down to and treated as if I didn't matter as I was a piece of trash. She wouldn't listen to anything I was telling her. No patient should ever leave a medical appointment feeling that way. She also refused to refill medications that I have been stable on for years. Meds that can't be just stopped. This is very Dangerous for patients. In addition, I was told I needed to repeat numerous tests and procedures that had already been completed within the last six months. I even provided those results, yet it did not appear that my chart or records had been reviewed before these recommendations were made. I have always followed the clinic's policies and medical guidance, so this experience was incredibly frustrating and discouraging. It felt less focused on patient care and more focused on ordering additional tests and procedures that did not seem necessary. It's all about making money and not patient care. Based on my recent experience, I can no longer recommend this clinic. I sincerely hope they reevaluate how patients are treated and place patient care and respect back at the center of their practice. Do better Dr. Patel!

She speaks very well, is soft spoken, and has a very gentle nature to him. It's amazing the insights and thoughts he put in the injured joint I have. So many well thought out recommendations and insights. It's amazing. Definitely I learned the most from him any chiropractor that just gives you 5 minutes. He takes his time to treat you right. It is much appreciated. Joanie at the front desk is friendliest lady in Arizona or so it seems. lol. I always enjoy chatting with her. She seems so upbeat and happy all the time. Not sure how she does it. lol Catherine, the former front desk person, was really nice and helpful for many the years I came there. He is amazing. If you are in Mesa I highly recommend him. He is the first Dr to explain things in detail, very patient. He is the first pain Dr to offer me some hope for my severe pain. I am going to have the MILD procedure (Google it) that could provide up to five years relief. Finally an option I can look forward to!! His practice is called AZ Pain Doctors. Give him a try!
