I like this place more than the other wing chain restaurants around, the place its really small so most of the times its packed to the brim

I have a love hate relationship with this place lol. I remember when it used to be $11 for the bonfire special. Now the price has drastically gone up and when they had expanded their business their wings were small ash for a while. Not sure if that was their fault or their distributor. However I gave them another chance and it seems like they had gone back to normal size. Food still tastes amazing it's just unbelievably pricey but hey you gotta go with the flow of the economy. My only complaint is when they forget to add my extra sauces. Other than that check this place out! read more

Literally the best wings I've had. I ordered 30 wings total-- 10 Honey BBQ, 10 Original Hot, 5 Creole, 5 Garlic Parmesan and a strawberry daiquiri. HOLY COW. It was all amazing. This is my new GO TO. Fast service. I only had a 15 min wait. I'll def get more Garlic Parmesan next time, they're were absolutely mind blowing good. The wings are a lil on the small side but they seemed to make up for that by putting a few extra. The daiquiri was so fresh and delicious, too. Highly satisfied ova here!! read more

Bonfire Wings - 30 Boneless Wings. 10 Original Hot 10 Honey BBQ 5 Garlic Parmesan 5 Creole - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

The BEST wings you'll find on the greater east side of Houston. They always have a large amount of people ordering throughout the week but they are usually pretty quick on getting your food ready. (15-20 min max wait time) . Takeout only. read more

I've been coming to bonfire for YEARS but recently they have not been doing a good job. We eat here ONCE a week and everytime they give us horrible dry wings or not cooked all the way fries we always give them another change but they just haven't been doing good. Today me and my boyfriend order in and once we got home i checked the food, I asked for extra sauce... didn't get that. The fries were a different type and very soggy. Boudin balls were great as always. Staff needs to take more time into their food making. Pretty upset when they mess up repeatedly & never willing to make something right for a customer. read more

This establishment has really went down on the quality of food. Highly disappointed because it use to run circles around the other wing places. You guys are in last place. Are y'all under new ownership!? read more

Good as hell, boudain ball with cheese is bomb asf . Highly Recommend 10/10 on everything . read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. When I placed my order we were already on the way there because we were not close to the location but I always get Cajun mojo wings because they have been the best there. I placed my order, mentioned twice that I wanted boneless Cajun mojo, twice, and the guy, Josh, taking the order even repeated the flavor an wing type to me. When my friend brought the order home, it wasn't boneless and they were dry as hell. I called for a refund but they didn't have a manager in the whole store and the "lead" person said hold on and hung up on me. The other guy I spoke to when I called back told me well we are pretty busy. Thats not a good excuse to not do a quality check. Shame on you. read more

Bonfire Wings - Dry ass bone in wings when I ordered Cajun mojo boneless. Ruined my night. - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

Wings always good, seasoned well, and crunchy! Everytime I go, they never disappoint!!

This is an updated review of both their locations. I was a die hard fan of bonfire wings and have been eating from their restaurants since 2009. The food is still really good, that packs a bold variety of flavors into their wings. I personally love their fries because you get some crispy and soggy ones with a good deal of seasoning. Their food is still good to me without a doubt However the price spike over the past 3 years is crazy, and not worth making a trip anymore since I've moved. The atmosphere delivered here is not worth the 17$ ish a person you'll spend with a combo and a drink. The place is not lively, and the workers seem to not have the same care in their interaction with people. I wish it could still be the neighborhood wing place I could always enjoy but not anymore. To put it simply, the good vibes are gone and no longer worth the price for the whole experience. read more

Flavors were good , but the chicken wing itself was small and not worth the price. Two meals 10 wings , fry ,2 Bourdain balls and a drink 19.87 10 wings , fry & drink 16.90 Honestly too much for the lackluster size of the chicken wing. The garlic Parmesan was drowning in butter , so very greasy and too much for my liking. The lemon pepper was ok , but I'll be honest , I've never liked Lemon pepper , but this wasn't strong and lemony so it was ok. I Likely wouldn't return if I had a choice , but if I was starving and this was in close proximity, I'd consider eating here again. read more

This is everyone's favorite creole wing spot ! It really doesn't get better than the garlic parmesan, ooohh that Jamaican jerk is sweet and spicy just the right blend. Don't forget the Boudin balls with cheese. read more

I've been going here for years. This was my go to place for specifically the garlic Parmesan wings. Recently, I've noticed a decrease in the wing sizes and an increase in price. The boudin balls also got smaller. This is disappointing. Charging more but giving less. read more

Wings for lunch? Sure.. This little joint on the Eastside of H-town is just that.. small. Came here for a late lunch, like 12:45 and it was jammed pack almost out the door. Just order at the counter and wait. Most are to go orders. Ordered the Bonfire Special. 10 wings, 2 Boudin Balls and fries. Wings were good and tasty ( Cajun Mojo flavor ). The boudin was par, nothing special. They have a Louisiana Cajun theme so they cater to that on their menu as well besides just wangs. All in all Good food, clean, good atmosphere, good times. Just a bit small for the volume of people they attract. Oh well it is what it is. read more

They have the best wings in Houston never disappointed. Highly recommend this place quick to have food ready.

Can I please give no stars!!! My first time having them last year I was very impressed. Everything was fresh and good and nice size wings. Now these last 2 experiences was the same. Little tiny, weird tasting, dark looking wings, gave me some old celery. Why did I even indulge? I had the runs immediately after eating. Just horrible. Y'all need to shut down! Never ever again! read more

Bonfire Wings - Nasty little, weird tasting suppose to be wings - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

When you drive 30 minutes in Houston traffic to your hometown for these wings.... you know that's saying a lot Staff has stayed predominantly the same for years. The ladies are so nice and they get shit done lol. Bonfire is a staple on the east side. These reviews are so ZZZZZZZ, if the regulars used Yelp- it'd be A++ Boudain is so good, I've compared every other boudain to theirs. Wings obviously are crisp and perfection. Their frozen strawberry daiquiris are so good! & available to leave with your to-go order; "the tape" fixes the open container law. It used to be called Cayenne's, that was before I discovered it in 2007. Honestly there's not much else to say.... The food speaks for itself, it is amazing and it's so well loved on the east! They had a couple other locations around Houston but they've all seemed to have closed. read more

Er'body I know loves Bonfire. My kids turned me onto it. My fav is the Parmesan wings. Delicious. And of course the boudin balls are good too. I suggest call in for pickup unless you want to sit down and enjoy there. The Daiquiri is amazing too read more

Ordered my food got my baby to pick it up to find out they gave me the wrong order so I called and told them I wanted another order they turned around and gave me the same plate that been sitting for a hour then when I asked to come get a replacement they told me they were too busy to do that then I asked could I get it the next day they told me yes BUT my food has to still be on the plate . I am pregnant that was the only food I had at the point so what was I supposed to do just starve me and my baby till the nex read more

The wings are great, best in the neighborhood. We order from there quite often. We ordered again tonight. The problem?? Now they are charging and EXTRA $15 to the price for Bone-In Wings. Not sure if we will continue ordering. Very disappointing. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The manager William and the employees including Joselyn are all very incompetent, lackluster and not helpful at all. The hostess gave the Uber driver the wrong order and when I called she offered me five free wings for a $50 order smh. She seemed to careless, was very rude and slow. I waited for my food for over three hours and after the back and forth calls they were not able to help. We were all left hungry at work. The is the second time we have had a issue like this and it is not okay. The should have offered something to us but instead kept us on hold smh. Very unprofessional and on top of that they took the other person order back. Y'all better watch out they do not know how to run a business at all. read more

Got an order to go. Daiquiri, wings, gumbo it was all very good! Strong drinks and fast service, nice staff. I will be back!

I love their honey barbecue wings and seasoned fries. The boudin balls are good also!

I really do love Bonfire Wings. But when I received my to go order, the lemon pepper wings were undercooked. read more

Bonfire Wings - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Houston, Texas

The French fries are soggy / mushy like they being fried in dirty oil. They can't handle a crowd and if you don't speak Spanish they don't understand you. Poor customer service, the counter workers act like they don't like there job. Terrible example of creole/Cajun cooking. I won't be going back read more

I pretty much get the same thing; the dry rub wings. Sometimes a boudin ball. The place is clean and the food is good. I prefer unbreaded wings, but that's my fault for going to a place that basically serves battered fried chicken. The people are courteous and I will keep going back. read more

Prices went up drastically! Not even worth it anymore! I remember when a Bonefire special was $10.25 and now to this day it's almost double that! Not even worth the hype plus the wings taste raw and not like they used to. The lady that used to cook the wings back then a couple years back isn't there anymore so I assume that's why their wings are garbage now! overpriced fries as well and less of a portion, they used to fill up my tray with fries now it looks like they count them instead now. The boudin balls are a joke selling for almost 1.50 each. When I can clearly buy the boudin meat at the grocery store for 8 bucks and make about 30 boudin balls! Which leaves a big ass margin for profit on their side! read more

Was excited to come here, but that quickly turned to disappointment. The place is really dirty. Trash everywhere. Takes the appetite away when it seems you're eating in a dump. Plenty of hands on deck to have place looking that way. Employees passed by several times, made no attempts to clean up! Also high priced for quality of food! read more

Personally I think these wings are the best in town. I love the fact that the wings they serve aren't dry and the wings are a pretty good size. My favorite flavors are Cajun Mojo, Original Hot, Hot Lemon Pepper and the Garlic Parmesan ones. The sauces have a bit of a tangy flavor but that's actually something I like about them. The boudin balls and Cajun fries that come with the Bonfire special are also pretty good and I particularly like dipping the boudin balls In the wing sauce. This place is almost always busy when I go and it's not fancy or anything but I'd much rather go here than other place when it comes to wings. read more

This place taste very good, and has great customer service. I love coming to this place when I'm on this side of town. Boudin balls and wings never tasted so good read more

The fries are amazing! Call your order ahead of time. Wings are small but always well seasoned.

This is my probably my favorite wing place in Houston. They have a great Cajun-style menu and I love that I can get a wings and boudin balls combo. There used to be a similar restaurant nearby called Coozans, and I'm not sure if they have the same owners, all I know is I'm glad Bonfire is still around. read more

Always loved their wings and boudin balls but the last time I went wings got so small needed a magnifying glass to find them?! Prices have skyrocketed! Like everywhere else thanks to Biden. read more

Wow!!! Bonfire Wings are seriously bomb!! My order was just how I asked it! I highly recommend the mango habanero and hot wings!!

This would be a good spot if the people working here weren't always so rude. The manger are way to young to know they need to check rude other employees working here. It's an constant battle from some employee that just doesn't feel like working. read more

I usually love bonfire & drive 35 minutes to get to the location but one night we arrived at 9:35 when the closing time said 10:00. I know it's bad to be "those" people but we live on the other side of town & to not want to let us in fuckin sucked. They were closing early, it's not hard to tell because one guy told the other "don't let them in", just call before you drive up there before you waste your time & gas read more

Wings are usually good. Lemon pepper is the only flavor I get. I tried the Jamaican jerk but they weren't the best to me. They do work fast. I gave them 3 stars because they do not keep the establishment tidy enough for it to be a food place. Also, because I have had better but what they do suffice. read more
