I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this new offering locally. I had the Pad Thai, and my girlfriend had the sesame chicken. The portions were great, and we both dined and had leftovers on only $20. The lady that both took our order and brought our food was incredibly nice and funny, and seemed to really enjoy her job. If I have one bit of constructive criticism for Bonfire Grill, it was their menu could use expanding in the Thai department. They seemed to offer a good selection of sushi, and their hibachi was the standard menu as many other places, but they only seemed to have 5 or 6 Thai offerings. Although since the protein could be swapped out on those, you could consider there to be up to 15 or so different selections, it was the simple appearance of the Thai choices being crammed into the end of their menu that gives the impression that there wasn't much to offer. All said and done, I was pleased with tonight's dinner, and I hope Bonfire Grill succeeds here. read more

Got 2 orders of crab eggroll today with side of chicken. Both crab eggroll orders where very very over cook and seem to be old to the point they were crunchy and hard. Every time I go to this establishment, that is what I order. The last 2 times has been garbage. I don't know if they have changed cooks or ownership, but I can't afford to pay for food and throw it away. Will NOT be back. P.S. I Never right food reviews, so this has to be bad. read more

I have a large family, and so it at times can be difficult to assist us! but this place did just that with easy, quick service, good food, clean dinnin! definitely recommend read more

Thai vegetable stir fry with chicken was good but did not taste Thai at all to me. More like Chinese. The Thai offers are very limited. The man at the counter was so nice. Definitely a nice contribution to the restaurant. Served on takeout containers and plastic silverware, good and bad. Place definitely needs repainted, not dirty just very warn. Would I go back? Probably. The food was very tasty. read more

This place is fast and delicious! There was a LOT of food- I had the shrimp hibachi and hubby had some sushi which he loved. Highly recommend it!! read more

Inconsistent. Many times food has been great but most of the time it's just not good. Today, like many other times, the chicken was very dry and disgusting. None of the meat was charred like it should be on hibachi or grilled style food. It's like they slow cooked it dry instead of quick hibachi style. It was dry, rubbery, and tasteless. And what sauce it did have had no flavor. None of the food had flavor at all. It seemed like all the sauces/dressings were watered down or not prepared properly. The sweet carrots weren't sweet. The salad dressing was watery and had no flavor whatsoever. The soup had no flavor other than a slight taste from the seaweed. Not good at all. Fried rice had no flavor. I'm not sure if they're warming leftovers sometimes or if they have a cook that's not as good as another cook, but I've grown weary of trying with them. I know we need to shop local small businesses, but they need to cook good food consistently if they want repeat customers. read more

Hibachi steak and shrimp was top tier and the price was reasonable. Customer service on pick up was awesome. Definitely ordering from here again. read more

This place is the bomb & would not be the same without Mr. Jerry. Bonfire grill puts OEC to shame.

Everything has gotten so much better once there was new owners. The former owner didn't care about the food quality, the appearance of the restaurant or Jerry! the transformation is amazing -clean, new decor, food quality, & service is so much better. read more

You can't expect a perfect Pad Thai from a place that specializes in "hibachi chicken" and "sushi" for southerners. And this was not perfect. No bean sprouts, a bit too sweet, no fresh green onion or chili, but it hit the spot on this day. Plenty of chicken breast pieces, pasta was done right and portion size was huge for $8. I could not finish it which is unusual for me. The service was typical southern friendliness. I would go back just to see what the hibachi is sushi is all about here. read more

Finally gave this place a try. I'm picky about my sushi because I used to work in one. I only tried two rolls.. the Bonfire and Brandon roll. And the miso soup. All of it was really good. I'd order here again. read more

Bomb roll is my favorite sushi roll here!! I usually order ahead and food is prepared in a timely manner!! Service with a smile!! Never have had any issues in the 2 years I have been coming read more

Great food & service! I never have to wait long when i order here and they always have it right, hot and a smile on their face !

Very overworked staff! Always running around to try to keep their customers satisfied! Food is always good as well. Will definitely be coming here again and again. read more

Don't do it! When you order - they will tell you x-amount-of-minutes wait but then you end up waiting several minutes past that. Enough time to develop a vaccine for covid-19. In fact, when I came back to my apartment with my food, there was a new family in there because my lease had run out and my wife had married somebody new because she thought I had gone missing. My parents didn't recognize me when I showed up to visit them in the nursing home. I can still hear the hostess voice getting frustrated with customers in my nightmares. I shudder everytime I see a pen because she threw one while on the phone with somebody. Oh and I still didn't end up with the food I ordered. ‍ read more

The last couple times I've been here it's made me and my family sick. Something isn't being cooked right or isn't sterile. We've tried a few times with months apart to give them the benefit of the doubt and no change. Always makes us nauseous. read more

Hands down better than OEC across the highway. The staff was friendly, everything was very clean and the food was excellent. We tried sushi and fried rice. Fried rice was better than Fuji and Ichiban Buffett. We will be back for sure. read more

So much a miss if you don't give a try. I read some of the reviews, and the bad ones.....my experience was extremely different. Outstanding Customer Service, Perfect fried rice, Portions above and beyond, Pad Thai cooked perfectly, and I wish I had more of the Miso soup. read more

Visited again...good sushi...service is a tad on the slow side. I think they need to hire one more cook for when it is busy. Lady running the show is nice, but is doing everything. I'd still give it 3.5 stars. read more

Stopped in for lunch with my husband after hearing that this place had changed management and was quite good. We were very impressed! We both got Hibachi, for me, chicken and shrimp, my husband got the scallops and shrimp. Both were served with fried rice and a side of sweet carrots that were so yummy they tasted like sweet potatoes! We also ordered egg roll, which was actually two small vegetable rolls, cooked fresh. They were so good and served with a slightly spicy sauce. This a family owned business and seemed to have a steady lunch crowd so I guess the word is getting out about how good it is. The staff if very friendly and the restaurant is clean. Will definitely be back!! read more

Great sushi way better than OEC and the customer service way better!! Will be returning

The sushi is middle of the road not bad, not great. The rice is unseasoned and not good. The steak is very low quality and needs a lot of sauce. Also it is unreasonably hot in the dining room. read more

Ok, my family and I ate here. I ordered sushi rolls. They were ok. The steak and shrimp was pitiful. If you could call the meat steak. The fried rice was just plain white rice with no seasoning. The word hibachi needs to be taken off windows. It is basically false advertising. I will never recommend or return. I should have known better being I work two blocks over and in 4 years never ate there with a coworker. read more

Now this is good food! Everything I have tried so far is freshly made always, good, tastes clean and fresh, and never leaves me feeling bad in any way. This is good Asian food. Thier sushi is great also. I highly recommend the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (regular or spicy). They give you a big portion of everything: 1 order of pad kee mow will feed 3 people easily, add a order of crab egg roll and just fed the whole family for under $15, cant beat the quality, the taste, and man are they fast! I highly recommend them. Drop Ichiban and try Bonfire Grill. You will not regret it. read more

The new lady is so hateful! I miss Sandy Ma! I won't be back to Bonfire for sure! Manager needs to talk to her aabout customer service!!

Great food! Friendly employees. They have a great selection of food between sushi, Japanese and Thai. The Thai food is very good!

We got takeout from here for lunch. It was really good. We will def go back. The CRUNCH ROLL was delish. Hubs said his hibachi was great as well. read more

I waited over two hours for my food and the whole time I waited I watched the cashier talk to the cooks as if there was something wrong with them. She yelled so loud that the customers could hear them and then came back to the cash register and smiled as if she wasn't being rude. It only got worse when another customer came in and the two of them conversed about the employees and how they were a different race. Never again. Food wasn't even worth hearing her talk to the employees like they were animals read more

I have been watching this place and was a little apprehensive since there never seams to be anyone there. I was very impressed with my meal. I had the udon noodles with shrimp. I asked for extra spicy and they had great flavor. I cannot wait to go back. read more

If I could give zero I would. This place was absolutely horrible. We ordered through the waiter app. Only in town one night. Reviews looked great. We ordered Pad Thai and was a combo steak and chicken, steak was way over done, chicken was dry. Ordered sushi rolls that looked ok fish was a little dry and old looking couldn't eat it because we received no soy sauce whatsoever. We call to find out our options and whomever we talked to said oh you need to complain to waiter app not us. Really you made the food not waiter!
