Every time I go to this establishment, that is what I order. The last 2 times has been garbage. Thai vegetable stir fry with chicken was good but did not taste Thai at all to me. More like Chinese. The Thai offers are very limited. The man at the counter was so nice. Definitely a nice contribution to the restaurant. Served on takeout containers and plastic silverware, good and bad. Place definitely needs repainted, not dirty just very warn. Would I go back? Inconsistent. Many times food has been great but most of the time it's just not good. Today, like many other times, the chicken was very dry and disgusting. None of the meat was charred like it should be on hibachi or grilled style food. It's like they slow cooked it dry instead of quick hibachi style. It was dry, rubbery, and tasteless. And what sauce it did have had no flavor. None of the food had flavor at all. It seemed like all the sauces/dressings were watered down or not prepared properly. The sweet carrots weren't sweet. The salad dressing was watery and had no flavor whatsoever. The soup had no flavor other than a slight taste from the seaweed. Not good at all. Fried rice had no flavor. I'm not sure if they're warming leftovers sometimes or if they have a cook that's not as good as another cook, but I've grown weary of trying with them. I know we need to shop local small businesses, but they need to cook good food consistently if they want repeat customers. read more

You can't expect a perfect Pad Thai from a place that specializes in "hibachi chicken" and "sushi" for southerners. And this was not perfect. No bean sprouts, a bit too sweet, no fresh green onion or chili, but it hit the spot on this day. Plenty of chicken breast pieces, pasta was done right and portion size was huge for $8. Don't do it! When you order - they will tell you x-amount-of-minutes wait but then you end up waiting several minutes past that. Enough time to develop a vaccine for covid-19. In fact, when I came back to my apartment with my food, there was a new family in there because my lease had run out and my wife had married somebody new because she thought I had gone missing. My parents didn't recognize me when I showed up to visit them in the nursing home. I can still hear the hostess voice getting frustrated with customers in my nightmares. Stopped in for lunch with my husband after hearing that this place had changed management and was quite good. We were very impressed! We both got Hibachi, for me, chicken and shrimp, my husband got the scallops and shrimp. Both were served with fried rice and a side of sweet carrots that were so yummy they tasted like sweet potatoes! We also ordered egg roll, which was actually two small vegetable rolls, cooked fresh. They were so good and served with a slightly spicy sauce. This a family owned business and seemed to have a steady lunch crowd so I guess the word is getting out about how good it is. Ok, my family and I ate here. I ordered sushi rolls. They were ok. The steak and shrimp was pitiful. If you could call the meat steak. The fried rice was just plain white rice with no seasoning. The word hibachi needs to be taken off windows. It is basically false advertising. I will never recommend or return. Now this is good food! Everything I have tried so far is freshly made always, good, tastes clean and fresh, and never leaves me feeling bad in any way. This is good Asian food. Thier sushi is great also. I highly recommend the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (regular or spicy). They give you a big portion of everything: 1 order of pad kee mow will feed 3 people easily, add a order of crab egg roll and just fed the whole family for under $15, cant beat the quality, the taste, and man are they fast! I waited over two hours for my food and the whole time I waited I watched the cashier talk to the cooks as if there was something wrong with them. She yelled so loud that the customers could hear them and then came back to the cash register and smiled as if she wasn't being rude. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this new offering locally. I had the Pad Thai, and my girlfriend had the sesame chicken. The portions were great, and we both dined and had leftovers on only $20. The lady that both took our order and brought our food was incredibly nice and funny, and seemed to really enjoy her job. If I have one bit of constructive criticism for Bonfire Grill, it was their menu could use expanding in the Thai department. They seemed to offer a good selection of sushi, and their hibachi was the standard menu as many other places, but they only seemed to have 5 or 6 Thai offerings. Although since the protein could be swapped out on those, you could consider there to be up to 15 or so different selections, it was the simple appearance of the Thai choices being crammed into the end of their menu that gives the impression that there wasn't much to offer. All said and done, I was pleased with tonight's dinner, and I hope Bonfire Grill succeeds here. read more

We ordered Pad Thai and was a combo steak and chicken, steak was way over done, chicken was dry. Ordered sushi rolls that looked ok fish was a little dry and old looking couldn't eat it because we received no soy sauce whatsoever. We call to find out our options and whomever we talked to said oh you need to complain to waiter app not us. Really you made the food not waiter!
