My visit to Bonefish Grill on Thursday 10-23-2025 was ok, nothing spectacular. Because I was dining alone, I sat at the bar. The bar tenders were friendly, quick and attentive to my needs and the needs of the other customers sitting at the bar. I enjoyed a couple of ice-cold Bud Light bottled beers while I watched Thursday night football on one of the two TVs behind the bar. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer to start. The shrimps were very good, served hot, crispy with a touch of crunch, and covered with the sweet chili and mayonnaise sauce and spices and served on a bed of lettuce. We decided to come to Bonefish because of their world famous Bang Bang Shrimp special on Wednesday and it did not disappoint!!! We met our server Jordan who provided us with excellent service and good vibes!! We also ordered the side Cesar Salad - Potato au Gratin - and the Beef & Ginger Potstickers. We love Bonefish. We come at least once a week if not more. We go out to have fun. Enjoy the food, and have a rapport with the wait staff. We make reservations every week. The food is awesome but their curbside pick up and service sucks. The first time I used it I couldn't find the parking for curbside bc the signs aren't very noticeable. The second time I found the parking checked in, then sat and waited and waited and waited. So idk if their system doesn't notify them well enough that someone is there and they need to bring their food out and get off their personal phone. Good seafood After reading some of the other reviews after the fact I think we were lucky, our arrival last night for dinner without reservations was not a problem and we were seated right away. Overall we had a very good visit. Service was friendly, our primary server quite knowledgeable as my wife asked several questions. I say primary server because we had other people also stop by checking on us, always cheerful, wanting our visit to be great. I have been missing out on pasta over the last year so I was pleased to see a dish named Bonefish Signature Pasta, linguine where you can add a protein. I selected Scallops, after all I'm in a seafood restaurant. Bonefish does offer more than just seafood, but they do have a fish in their name. I also like trying dishes that sound like something special offered by the restaurant. What sauce it had was thin, I'd rate that part of my food about average. This is the first we have been to Bonefish Grill in quite some time. It was Sunday about mid afternoon. The bar area and tables were full. The dining area had four tables occupied. We were seated at the back of the dining area and our waitress was also taking care of the bar area. It seemed to take awhile to get our meals- filet and swordfish-which when asked, we told our waitress were both very delicious. We had to get another waitress to have our waitress come back long after we had finished our entrees. I'm pushing myself to maintain the 4 star rating I awarded this location from a prior visit. Sole reason is the reception staff should be fired!!! Restaurants are in the hospitality business. Staff greeting customers should be smiling, helpful and welcoming!!! My wife and I were so put out by the reception desk staff that we were tempted to leave. We didn't mind waiting, though we had a reservation, and yes, this place gets busy "in season", but, don't me feel unwelcome, and you're doing me a favor. On to the food, and service. VERY good. I cant believe I never tried the Bonefish grill before now. Delicious and wonderful atmosphere. We started with an expresso martini and a vodka sunrise and everything after is a blur.... Regular diners here. This pat Friday we met friends who had never been there. Server at the bar area high tops had no excitement to want to work. Maybe this, being a Friday night and young is what we thought. We ordered our rounds of drinks and then a second round and then a third as well as ordering our dinners. The couple that we invited ordered two Caesar salads with both Lite dressing along with the shared fish special. The food runner guy brings the salads right away and lays them in front of them. Literally, there is no way those were there's as the sever could not have even been back to her computer placing the order. We told the guy and he replied "uh" I dunno. Well, where is our sever as she just walked away and there is no way that is ours. "Uhhhh, I dunno and walked away. The female friend went to look inside the tiny dressing holder and it was empty. Yes, empty. The other salad did not even have any dressing on it. Or the little dish. We ended up stopping another waiter and asked and he thought that was very odd and quickly brought them the dressing. Bad bad experience for first and possibly last timers. I ordered chicken Marsala and wife ordered the taco's. Tacos good. My Marsala lacked any type of flavor lacked mushrooms and the one table spoon of mashed potatoes. Our bill. 6 drinks. Bonefish was once our "go to" restaurant. You know, the place you go to when everything else is too far or busy or too expensive. Not anymore. During our last visit, the server was uninterested. He clearly did not know th emenu. The fish was overcooked. The dumpling covered in some goop. My husband was convinced that we were served the house white but charged for the high-priced bottle. I wrote a letter outlining our experience the next day. It has been two weeks and have had no response. So sad. read more

I truly hate leaving a bad review but I was super frustrated. Went in and sat at the bar with my husband, he ordered a beer while I went to the ladies room. When I got back there was a couple hovering over my seat talking to several wait staff and our bartender. My husband and I scooted down to give them a seat since it was at the end of the bar and they needed one more seat. Odd because there were a ton of empty seats on the other side of my husband they could have sat in. At that point our Bartender acted like we didn't exist. We waited for quite awhile before we had to get the attention of the other bartender at the other end of the bar. Got a drink and then had to wait another 20 minutes to order food because neither bartender was paying attention to us even though it wasn't busy. At this point I'm starving. Finally got the order in and my husbands food came out Hot and mine was ice cold and completely not enjoyable but I ate it anyway because I was so hungry . The Bartender who was supposed to be waiting on us stayed at the end of the bar talking to the same couple for the entire duration of our dinner. Paid $18 and received a 3 tiny,cold pieces of fish and CABBAGE without a sauce or anything....the MANAGER TONY said that their FISH AND CHIPS comes with one side. Well if it does TONY then you eat all the fish you can and take CHIPS off the menu, which states ALL DISHES COME WITH FRIES AND A SIDE. Because what you served is a sad story. Service is always top notch with very friendly, well educated, helpful staff. The place is always clean and fresh looking with a quiet but happy vibe. The food is well priced and always on point! Join their membership club to get special priced meals not on the menu. During the season, reservations are a good idea. The drinks are interesting and fun to try, too. Oddly enough, I think Bonefish was the best meal I had in my recent trip to Sarasota- did not think my favorite meal would have come from a chain restaurant but it did. Our waitress (I want to say her name was Steph) was absolutely incredible. She was attentive, funny, chatty and accommodating. She made the experience memorable. We ordered three appetizers: ahi tuna, bang bang shrimp, and crab cakes. All three were excellent. Also, the complementary bread was also extremely delicious. For my entree I ordered the mahi mahi and shrimp combo with a side of double veggies.
