The server and hostess were absolutely above and beyond friendly and helpful, especially with our 2 kids and baby. My wife ordered salmon with lemon caper sauce along with broccoli and mashed potatoes, and I ordered the same except with mahi mahi, shrimp, and rice. The kids ordered fried shrimp and fried chicken. Everyone was content with their food, the sauce improved the flavor of everything on the plate, but overall nothing too memorable. The plates averaged about $25, so for a family of 4 is about $100 with tip. I usually steer clear of most chain restaurants, but this wasn't bad at all! read more

I decided to take our team to Bonefish Grill. The ambiance is awesome, and the service was very good! I started with the Crab Cakes and the Crab Dip. Super good. Everyone enjoyed both appetizers. I ordered the Filet and Lobster Tail which was well cooked and seasoned! My guests ordered the pasta and Trout. Both drew raves from everyone. We topped off our meal with the Cherry Cheesecake and Chocolate Crème Brûlée. Everything was delicious and Bonefish offered a tremendous experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more

My wife and daughter raved about The Bonefish Grill so my wife took me there for a date. I'm fairly picky with restaurants but review them IAW the sector they serve (I don't use the same standards to rate fast food as I do upper tier sit down restaurants). The Bonefish Grill resides in the higher end of a middle sit down restaurant and it shows in the decor, atmosphere and service. The decor was elegant and subdued with dimmer lighting accentuating the atmosphere. It was clean in appearance and the atmosphere was full of appetizing scents. The service was very good but still not the level of service I experienced at Louisiana Lagniappe in Destin. That service was exceptional with a professional wait staff in appearance, knowledge and behavior. The server was friendly and had a good knowledge on the offering and kept the drinks refilled. The food was surprisingly good. Came to the table at close to the perfect temperature. It was well seasoned but not overly seasoned so the main ingredients were identifiable. The texture of the poke bowl was spot on and beats all those poke bowl restaurants and available at grocery stores in the CONUS hands down. Having said that, I still prefer the poke bowls in HI to include those made at home using the poke from Times Supermarket. But a really good entree and I recommend it wholeheartedly. This was our first visit to this restaurant. The interior is so pretty and welcoming. We did not sit in the dining room, but chose to sit in the lounge area, which is absolutely fantastic. From the hostess to our server to our food, it was an amazing experience for a late lunch. I highly recommend the shrimp and scallop dip. It was fantastic! We both loved our meals and our drinks were delicious. Bonefish has long been one of our favorite restaurants. However, the on on 12th Ave., Pensacola left a lot to be desired. The service was good, Madie took good care of us. The food was not up to normal BF standards, especially the asparagus, which was dry, tough and unseasoned. The shrimp appetizer wasn't very good, either. read more

2/14/26 Brought my girl to Bonefish on Valentine's Day. Got a reservation. Place is real nice and lively atmosphere. They tried to seat us in the banquet room. Asked for a booth in the main dining room. After she went back to the front desk and spoke with them she came back and gave us a nice booth. The bam bam shrimp was just little boiled shrimpies with a big spoonful of some chunky sauce dumped on top. I ordered the bourbon glazed salmon. It was raw in most of the middle. Sent it back. My wife's chicken Marsala was good. We got the cheesecake and it was out of the park good. They didn't charge me for the salmon. Kinda thought they would give us the cheesecake but not to be. I was looking for a new restaurant to take my daughter to...even though she lives here. Bonefish turned out to be a great choice! The complimentary bread and pesto with olive oil was mouthwatering! The bread was hot and fresh a nice start...delicious! The food was awesome!! I had the salmon!! The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce had a nice favor. Melt in your mouth Yummy! The food was very good. My wife and I were here for New Years and again tonight. We made reservations both times. The atmosphere and decor is very nice. It can be a romantic setting. We asked not to be rushed which we werent and took our time. Had two cocktails each at dinner, get the smoked old fashioned. The lobster bisque was very tasty too. Frequent customer who's usually there at 11 o'clock sharp when they first open. I was there recently, sat down at the bar and food culture culture crumbs were all over the entire bar from the evening prior. I had to ask for a bartender for a wet towel so I could clean the bar off where I was sitting. Thank you Bonefish for leading us to the New Fishing Hole restaurant. We had reservations for an event at Bonefish at 5:30 tonight, when we arrived we were told the event didn't start until6:30 and we couldn't be seated until 6:15 A manager? Came out and said she would talk to the general manager and see what they could do. A waitress came out and politely let us know we were her only table and if we didn't order dinner that maybe we could go to the bar and get a drink and not take up a table. We decided to just order dinner and forget the special event. No one came back to take our order or even see if we planned to stay for the event. We left without anyone even noticing. We promptly went to THE FISHING HOLE , where we had much fresher fish, oysters and Shrimp. Which was much better than anything Bonefish had to offer. We have always enjoyed dinner and appetizers and drinks at Bonefish, but needless to say the less than caring attitude of the staff and General Manager( wherever he was) left us with a bad taste. All they had to do was say " How about a drink and appetizer while you wait, " instead of acting like we were an inconvenience. I've been a longtime patron. The food arrived promptly and at the appropriate temperature. The Caesar salad was perfect. The lemon blueberry martini looked and tasted great; it was top shelf. The BFG burger was cooked and garnished glowingly. Bang Bang shrimp could not have been better. The fries alongside the BFG Burger were old, soggy, and limp, unedible. One of the two bartenders was having an ad-hoc interview with a patron who partially owned an upscale local restaurant. While ignoring the rest of the bar patrons, their conversation lasted over 14 minutes. With their discussion taking the presidence, water topping and additional drink orders were ignored. Man this place is so bad. I went recently while visiting a family member in Pensacola. I ordered the mahi-mahi and shrimp, and the Brussels. The only reason this gets two stars is because the shrimp and brussels were decent. The Mahi Mahi was so bone dry it was inedible. Someone else in our group ordered the butterfish and had to send it back because the fish was actually bad. Like smelled off and fishy, and tasted gross. The wine selection is pretty sad. Our waiter seemed high (and was very inattentive. The manager also was quite aggressive and rude when the butter fish had to be sent back (the waiter was nicer about it). Definitely would not recommend going to this restaurant for any reason. read more

Been coming to this bone fish for almost 20 years. It is an hour drive but my wife's favorite. Went last night, my wife ordered the seasonal risotto as a side, it was like soup, the waitress was very nice and took it off the bill. I had Mahi & shrimp that was Ok however the broccoli was undercooked and cold the jasmine rice was cold a well. It came out about 5 minutes after ordered, probably prepared in advance. What a joke! I ordered two entrees for pick up. When I arrived back at our hotel, I thought there must be a mistake. Please see the attached photo of $100 worth of food. The Seared Sea Scallops were not colossal as described on the web site but minuscule and not served on a bed of street corn rather a separate ramekin (literally one bite). Should've known when walking into front door that our experience wasn't going to be ideal! Kitchen staff was sitting in the lawn furniture meant for guests smoking cigarettes. Once inside (restaurant had maybe 10 customers), each time the front door opened the smoke from the employees would rush into the dining area. We had a table of 5. Had to flag down our server after waiting 15-20 minutes for anyone to take our dinner orders. Three of the five had ordered the $39 filet. Each of us ordered our filets to be cooked Medium. All three of the steaks were cooked well done with NO pink or red showing. The others at our table had finished with their meal long before our steaks returned to the table! Had to flag down a manager to let her know about the kitchen mistakes! Offered a free dessert. Declined the free dessert due to sitting at the table for 2 hours 10 minutes. We were ready to leave. For the price paid for the filets, I expect it to come out right the first time and a for it to be choice cut steak, which it was not. I was only able to swallow down 1/2 of it with the help of sweat tea.. Not the Bonefish reputation I am used to in other locations! Terrible experience from service to food. read more
