Interesting location as it is very, very busy to its proximity to SeaWorld. It's also a very efficient in every way. I would like to give special props to our server Claudia C. She made a good experience much much better! We are regulars at bonefish so nothing on the menu was terribly surprising. That said the food here was a little to a lot better than many other locations we've been to. The bang bang shrimp were just perfect, very tasty but not too spicy. I am in town for work this week and I met up with some in-laws who live nearby. They suggested we go to Bonefish Grill because they know the food is always good. I'm not a big seafood person but I've been to a Bonefish in my area before, and they usually had plenty of steak or chicken entrees, so that was fine by me. The (complimentary) bread comes with an oil and pesto dip, which is fantastic. It was Monday and they were doing $5 cocktails - cocktails AND martinis - so we each got one, and my pineapple one was delicious. For my entree, I had the 8 oz. sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes (instead of French fries) and the seasonal vegetable, which was broccoli. That also came topped with pesto and was very tasty. Oddly enough, the mashed potatoes were the weakest part of the meal to me - they were fine but nothing special. However, the steak was very good, especially with the chimichurri. My in-laws got the salmon and the pasta with I believe shrimp or salmon, and they said both were good. In addition, one had a pomegranate martini and one had a fruity cocktail, I believe, and everyone liked theirs. Waitstaff was fast and friendly, too, and I would come back to this location again. Had a perfect post-valentines day dinner with my boyfriend here! It's been years since I've been to a Bonefish, but I was pleasantly surprised in many ways. The service was excellent, and I appreciate the innovation that the chefs are able to put into their dishes, the cod imperial was like nothing I've really had before and it was amazing! There is still so much I am eyeing at when I return, but I was definitely jealous of my partners old fashion, the bartenders really hit it out of the park with that one. The sirloin was excellent as well. I love udon noodles so I was eager to try their fall seasonal dish, black pepper udon. This entree comes with your choice of grilled shrimp or chicken and is very good. The pasta is tender udon noodles tossed in a bold black pepper sauce, sautéed with crisp red peppers and broccoli, finished with fresh cilantro and green onions. I have only tried the shrimp but it is about 5 large shrimp that are grilled and then placed in the noodles. I like a lot of sauce so I asked for a side of sauce to completely coat the pasta. I really like this entree and for me is two servings. I thought the specials all used to come with soup or salad but it seems the new norm is that those courses are purchased ala carte. When in Orlando, we were looking for some decent food for somewhere that I had a gift card for. I saw Bonefish grill was not too far. Of course, when i went to pick it up, it started pouring rain. However, they have a great setup for curbside pickup. Everything is just so much easier in Orlando than it is in California! The food was pretty good, and was plentiful for a family of 4. We were able to find a discount online that we applied to the order, so that save a few dollars as well. Wow. Best Bonefish Grill at which I have dined. It was mid-afternoon, so I arrived in time for their fantastic Social Hour. Great prices and wonderful "small" plates. I started with a drink which was promptly served by Brittany with a quick follow-up my Matt. I started my meal with the Brittany recommended Ahi Tuna Wonton Crisps. Ernest is one of your finest employees, seriously. He was kind, easy to talk to, and was a great guy all around. From his food recommendations, I left feeling amazing after eating the following: Parmesan-Encrusted Rainbow Trout 9/10: A few more surprise bones than I would've liked, but a spectacular dish overall! Great use of artichoke hearts and the fish was perfectly cooked, with just enough Parmesan on the breading. Rice and Slaw made for perfect sides. Bang Bang Shrimp 10/10: Not sure if I was just hungry, or because the restaurant had me in a good mood, but I loved these shrimp. I'm sure there was something to improve, but honestly they were great. I've been coming to this location for years. I have lunches and dinners here as well as take clients here for meetings. Tonight, this location failed terribly. Arrived at 7pm, moderately busy but seated immediately. Then waited 15 minutes before I had a table greet. And the only reason I got greeted was because I went and got the server myself. Ordered right then and there. Server said they'd be back with the beverage. Fifteen minutes later, now 7:30pm, no beverage and server no where to be seen. I got up and finally found him and told him to cancel. Then I let the hostess stand know that I was leaving. There was NO communication between the front of the house and back of the house. Just terrible. Terrible execution. I would terminate the two hostesses because if they can't communicate effectively then it kills the business. I left and lost not only 30 minutes of my time, but the time it took to drive to another restaurant and order, I lost an hour overall. The only reason, AND the only reason is getting a 1 star is because it won't allow less. Other than this incident, the service and food has always been paramount. But let me remind this location, it only takes ONE bad experience to kill someone that's been loyal. I'll address this with the managing partner and corporate. My family DRAGGED me to bonefish grill. I hate chain restaurants & I did not remember being fond of this one in particular. But I was out voted. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I could see that whatever I previously had in my mind was INCORRECT. The initial ambiance is of an upscale restaurant with the wine collection display and the waiters in chefs coats. This adds a very special touch & made me forget I was in a chain. My great aunt asked to sample the butternut squash soup before she ordered it & the waitress had no problem accommodating her- that sets this place apart. Also, every waiter or waitress we asked for something that wasn't our particular waitress had no issue helping us out. The manager also came around to buss tables. The prices are phenomenal for the quality of service & food offered here. My rainbow trout was cooked to perfection & bursting with flavor. I almost drooled. The string beans were juicy & buttery. Visited this restaurant last Sunday. My husband and I have been before to the Longwood location. The restaurant was clean and for a Sunday, not crowded but a nice atmosphere. I ordered a lot of food because I was starving. I had the calamari, bonefish signature pasta with shrimp, and 3 chocolate chip cookies. The calamari was delicious and it was the perfect bite size pieces and the serving was generous. The sauce that came with it was really good. The shrimp was grilled nicely and the pasta was great! It was simple but the flavors were so good. Of course, the bread that came with it was good. The chocolate chip cookies were a good ending to the meal! The host was very hospitable and explained everything we need to know about the menus. Our server continued with great professionalism and respect. He seemed truly thankful that we had had dined there. We both had the lunch pre fixe menu which included a soft drink, starter and entree for just $15 each. It has been quite some time since I dined at Bonefish Grill which was a favorite seafood restaurant of mine the past decade. This dinner was very underwhelming to say the least. The server was fantastic and very attentive and warm. The Bang Bang shrimp was a bit soggy and very salty. My Chilean Seabass fish was undercooked and unsalted; flavorless. The green beans were very al dente and not very chewable. The bread was deliciously fresh; the highlight of the night. My sangria was served with way too much ice and water down the drink tremendously. My date (UCF undergrad French professor) took her meal to go and spiced it up at home. I shared my experience the following day at a conference I was hosting at the Omni Championgate and was informed all of the Fish at Bonefish Grill is frozen and not fresh. Our server Ashley was a champ full of energy while very aloha friendly and professional. A star employee. We were hungry and having a late dinner at 8:00pm. We ordered a couple of cocktails a Jack Daniels on the rocks and a Pomegranate vodka martini and of course water. They were good drinks and the Jack had a solid pour. For a shared starter we. Ordered their fried calamari which was perfectly breaded and fried to perfection so they were crispy and and had a few pieces of bell pepper in the mix (easy to pick out, but we enjoyed). They were on the slightly salty side the aioli spicy dip was great. A 4/5 due to salt. The main courses was the Chilean sea bass and the butter (aka sable fish or black cod) were stellar! We had the garlic mash potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and macaroni and cheese. Chilean sea bass perfectly cooked and seasoned it was tasty and wonderful. 5/5. I made a reservation on a Saturday night and was seated quickly when I arrived. I ordered a Moscow Mule for my drink (9 dollars). While it was not strong, it was still a great drink with the gingery flavor and refreshing. I did the trout for dinner with coleslaw and mashed potatoes on the side. It did take some time to receive it, but when it came, it was grilled to perfection. The trout was light and flakey, and had the perfect grilled flavor. The coleslaw was wonderful with plenty of lettuce and sauce. It was one of the best I had. The mashed potatoes were served in a container as I wanted it to go. For dessert, I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies, which were perfectly gooey with the chips. I had one at the restaurant, and took the other two to go. The service was nice and helpful, but it did take a bit of time for the food. Most likely because of the hungry tourist crowd. The atmosphere was on the darker side and had a bit of conversation, but I can still hear the light rock and r&b music. There was outdoor seating and a bar as well. Bonefish Grill still is one of my favorite seafood chains. They consistently make very good fish, and provide good service in an upscale atmosphere. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get.
