This place was just OK. My wife's Atlantic Salmon was mediocre. My cheeseburger was like something I could make at home on the grill. Wait staff seemed overworked and therefore not attentive. Not a bad experience, but also not a great one. read more

Got to be honest, I think that Bonefish is pricey and not a real standout in seafood. But they have chains all over and are pretty consistent in the quality of their meals. Ahhh so bummed that they don't have this place in California! I love fish and their Chilean seabass did not disappoint! Well cooked, ever just the right touch that the fish was delicate yet flavorful, oozing with the natural omega-3 we all want. So light but fluffy, and tasty I could have had more and not felt full. Sides of rice and veggies did not disappoint. Great bread and their dip was good too. Three words: bang bang shrimp. Seriously, if you haven't tried this here, do so. It's delicious and plentiful!! I recommend heading in on a Wednesday for their $6 special offer on this dish. It really is a share dish, or you can make it a meal easily by just adding a small side. This location is usually busy, and the parking lot can get crazy, so consider calling ahead or coming just before or after peak times. Their happy hour is solid of you want to just small meal and sip at the bar. The staff is great here. We've always had good servers that are friendly and check in regularly for drinks or any needs. They are also great about accommodating for allergies. If you've got a shellfish allergy, they can help you out. The hubs is allergic and we've never had an issue! My dad was craving Chilean Sea Bass and wanted to come to Bonefish to celebrate his birthday! Overall we had a good time here, everybody was satisfied with their dish, but unfortunately I wasn't blown away with the Spicy Tuna Bowl that I ordered. The bowl was not spicy at all and I didn't feel as though the sweet chili sauce suited the dish well (nor was it unique in flavor.. it tasted just like what you could get from the asian grocery store). However, the mango salsa was a refreshing component that I enjoyed! It is difficult to rate this dish because I like all of the ingredients independently, but I don't think it was presented or created to feel like a cohesive dish. I'm interested to try other items on their menu next time. I have no complaints about the free bread, who doesn't love free bread?? We came on a Wednesday so the Bang Bang Shrimp was on sale for 7$ (instead of the usual 11$) and it was very tasty & flavorful. I would recommend sharing this appetizer as it can feel heavy after awhile. My dad really enjoyed his Chilean Sea Bass and he says it never disappoints whenever he gets it! The Thermidor gnocchi was delicious!! They were generous with the amount of lobster and shrimp, and the sauce is really hearty. I would definitely recommend ordering this if you like seafood and gnocchi, but be prepared to fall into some deep sleep afterwards haha. read more

Didn't get a chance to try the food or really stay to see what the service or ambiance was. Why you say? Well their AC must have been broken as is was the same temperature inside as it was outside. We have visited several Bonefish Grill locations in the Orlando area and the wife and I have found this to be our favorite location. We have found that it has the best service and consistent food quality. This seems surprising (at least to me) from a location right by the airport that probably has very few repeat customers. Although a chain restaurant, I think that BFG offers great seafood along with a very good dining experience. Their rainbow trout is fantastic and my go to favorite. The sea bass and cod piccata are two others that I would highly recommend. Their Hooked on Tuesdays menu is a great value option. This is a three course special with several options. This special Tuesday menu may not be presented, so be sure to ask your server about it. Their Jen's Jamaican Coconut Pie is to die for. I never used to be a coconut fan but this dessert converted me! read more

We came here for dinner tonight after a long work week cause it was near our hotel. We sat at the bar (as we usually do at most Bonefish Grills). Had my husband not asked, he wouldn't have been able to get a glass of wine at a happy hour price. We'd sat there awhile so when the bartender said she wasn't sure if we were still on time... it was a bit off putting. We certainly got there early enough. She (nor her companion bartender) ever even mentioned happy hour nor any of the specials etc. We ordered dinner. We were never asked about getting bread nor did we receive any. At our regular BG, it comes automatically. We saw others behind us with bread, however. Neither of the gals even bothered to check on us -- to ask if our entrees were okay or if we needed anything else. My husband had to flag one gal down just to get a glass of water. As it turns out, my lobster stuffed shrimp wasn't very good. I've had this before -- it should have been hotter in temperature, cooked longer, and the stuffing should have had some lobster in it. Some of my green beans were brown on the edges so I left these on the plate. The rice was fine, however. I think my husband's fish and chips were okay. Guess we are spoiled by the Fort Lauderdale BG staff where everyone is not only pleasant and efficient but has personality. These two young gals had none of these qualities nor did they make us want to come back in the future to this particular branch. read more

First thing first, I've been to 3 different locations and none of the bartenders know how to make a French 75 -- which was so shocking to me that from Tampa to Orlando no one at this place knows the drink. I will say though that the location in Tampa looked up how to make it and made a really good one. This location remixed it into a martini and missed the mark, BUT they made up for it. We received good service... although everything was a bit slow for such a quiet night... that being said maybe it was busier in a different room so.. no judgement. I had to ask him a random dietary question about my cocktail and he made no bones about checking with the bartender first. For my appetizer, I ordered a cup of lobster bisque. It was creamy and hearty and had several big chunks of lobster inside. I had the Pecan Crusted Trout for dinner. I didn't expect it to be such a huge fillet and had to take half home. Never a bad thing. My husband's chicken dish (I forget the name) was perfectly prepared and had a substantial amount of creamy goat cheese stacked on top. All in all a perfect meal. It wasn't until I got back to my hotel that I saw a charge for $7 for a side of asparagus. With the portions they provide, that might be the most ridiculous price I've ever had to pay for a bland 6 spears of the vegetable. Side of rice portion was laughable. The shrimp tasted like popcorn shrimp from any fast food place and the sauce sort of masked the frozen flavor. Bonefish is one of our very favorite chain restaurants. The quality of the food and service is always very consistent. It's been 6 years since we had been to a Bonefish as there are none in the area we currently live. We traveled to Florida recently to look for houses and in the nine days we were there we ate at Bonefish 3 times. Twice because we wanted to but the third (and the best) was across the parking lot at the hotel in which we stayed on our last night. On business in Orlando, I was staying in a hotel close by, so I stopped in for my favorite of favorites, Bang Bang Shrimp! Oh my gracious, it was better than I remembered! The breading is just enough and the shrimp somehow crisp and perfect! It was accompanied by my second favorite dish here, the Caesar Salad. Stopped through after my cousin landed. We greaves drinks and shared some calamari. First, let me say that our server , Edward was delightful. The Hawaiian martini, if you like sweet drinks, AND I DO, is delightful! My cousin had and enjoyed the pineapple martini. The calamari was really good and the presentation was nicer that the bonefish I went to across town and I should know, because I had it earlier that same day-done judge me BF is perfectly located if you are getting off a flight or headed to the airport.
