Never did I think after the experience I had a couple of years ago I would change my view of Bonefish, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Wonderful remodeling, especially in the bar area where it not only feels inviting but has a classy upscale atmosphere. It has a cooler vibe than the dining room, in my opinion. Food is fresh and the service is excellent. Not sure the male bartender's name but we love him. Drinks are substantial with the perfect balance. We dined at Bonefish on Christmas Eve. The server and staff were very professional and friendly. 4 people at our table ordered the Grouper and Crab cake special. Unfortunately, everyone's Grouper came out overcooked and had a really fishy taste which indicates it was not fresh. The server offered to get the Manager, but we declined . She also refunded one of orders that was particularly bad which was appreciated. I am sure they would have made things right with new orders, but we were ready to get home. Just very disappointing to have such poor quality fish as that is their specialty. Hopefully just an off night with short staff before the holiday. read more

Two tables were served while two were not in a timely manner! I don't like to play the race card but the two tables that were not served in a timely manner were African American and Hispanic! After talking to the manager our food was brought out but the main dishes, ravioli soup cold, burger under cooked, salmon did not look like pic on the website it was half the size of the pic! Both kids had macaroni and a side! One child had Mac and shrimp bites but they gave her chicken! Very disappointing first time visiting this restaurant! We will not return! read more

On Valentine's Day. My wife and I were both ill. So we could not go out. We don't get to go to Bonefish very often because it's so pricey. But we treated ourselves and called for delivery. I haven't been here in years. The restaurant was dead on a Saturday night. The atmosphere has gone downhill. No more white table cloths and wine glass. Calamari was overcooked and greasy. Bang bang shrimp was ok. My "special" wasn't special at all. The service was good, that's why I'm giving a one star. When the bread is the best thing on the table, that says a lot. It has been a while since I have been to Bonefish Grill but, this week I have been here twice. Drinks and a meal over the weekend was a smoked old fashion with Uncle Nearest and Chilean Sea Bass with lemon butter. I have been a fan of their Sea Bass for quite a while and my only complaint would be the portion. The taste and preparation is excellent. I enjoy a good smoked old fashion and I was not disappointed. The cost of the old fashion at BFG makes it even more appealing. The ambiance was great and the service was pretty good! My meal today is bang-bang shrimp taco's while seated at the bar. The service and food is good. There were not a lot of people here when I arrived so, I can't judge the lunch vibes. I enjoyed it and the fact no one was bothering me at the bar while I eat is a plus. Lol! To be honest, for BFG to be a national chain they do a great job and the improvement to their bar area makes it more attractive for I am at dinner so, I will call you back. or drinks with your friends. Had dinner here on 11/8. We have always enjoyed BG. This is the first bad experience and it was bad. Bar service was incredibly slow and food service timing was off kilter. We had a long wait to order, then 20 minutes to get drinks. Two minutes after drinks arrived, chowder was served, but we had no napkins (or flatware other than the spoons that came with the soup). The chowder was served cold. I asked for mine to be zapped. My husband was very hungry and said he'd eat his as it was. When my cup was delivered it was steaming hot, but still no napkins. Seems they were out of rolled flatware and napkins so someone was doing that. We had not finished our chowder when the entrees arrived. We still lacked flatware and napkins. So we waited. My husband had ordered bang bang shrimp (a favorite of his) as an entree. I could tell something was wrong when he finally got a fork and took his first bite. He said the sauce lacked its usual sweet and tangy flavor. He only ate half. Happily, my butterfish and jasmine rice were both very good and I enjoyed them. Unfortunately, the sautéed spinach (and I love spinach) was so salty it was inedible. I left most of it. Our waiter was pleasant and tried hard, but was inexperienced and seemed overwhelmed. The restaurant was NOT busy, but there was apparently chaos in the kitchen. This was not BG's usual quality. I've only ever been here for their Brunch events but I've been two times now and both times have been fantastic. Service is fast and efficient, the servers are always there whisking away empty cups and plates. Everyone is very friendly. Brunch event was 3 courses paired with drinks - all were delicious. The food sizes were super generous too. We left completely stuffed. The only issue we had was some of the temperature of the items was a little tepid. Didn't ultimately ruin our experience though. We would love to do their other events like bourbon and vodka pairings, but those seem to be on weekdays. read more

We have been dining at Bonefish for more than a decade, maybe two? It used to be our go to and was always a solid choice. Since Covid, the Murfreesboro location - along with many other restaurants - seems to have not bounced back. Our last three visits were so blah and I never suggest it (we only went as others invited us). The last three visits: 1. The seating was two close. Our table of five was seated next to a large group table, basically back to back. We could not have a conversation due to the proximity and their loud volume. 2. Confusing menu. They have since updated it, but the server should have pointed out the difference between regular sides and premium sides. A couple at our table thought they ordered standard sides, then saw the premium in their bill. Looking at the menu after, I could see why. 3. Menu issues. The most recent visit has the sides listed better! But, there was the regular menu, brunch menu, specials menu. I ordered a holiday drink off the specials menu and after 10 minutes was told they did not have it. Someone ordered something from the brunch menu and was told it was not available. I ordered the crème brûlée French toast (the brunch menu I think) and it was awful. It tasted like burnt toast with some syrup. I have been to this location for lunch numerous times and the service is usually very good. The food is always good and the ambiance is very nice as they just remodeled the entire inside. They do have some moderately priced choices, but they do have some more expensive choices. They also have an extensive wine and beer selection with a full bar. read more

It has been several years since we have been to Bonefish Grill. We went to eat with friends this past Saturday night. We were seated immediately and had an attentive server. Three of the four of us ordered the Mahi Mahi, it was very over cooked, not hardly seasoned at all and while fish was hot, asparagus was not. Asparagus was under cooked and again had no seasoning. Frankly it tasted like it had been heated in a microwave. This made me sad because we had gotten very good seafood before. Probably will not be going back. read more

The biggest difference we saw was on this visit was the food was average at best. If I could give zero stars I would. I went into BoneFish to use the restroom. I'll pick up order from here a lot, I didn't think anything about it. There's no sign that says restrooms are for customers only. As soon as I walked out of the bathroom, some older lady was blocking the door. She asked me if I was a customer, and I said I'm just trying to get to my car. She insisted on blocking me. Then she told me that they have cameras that watch everything. I used the freaking bathroom, that's it. This woman was extremely rude. I don't know if she's the general manager or what. But I've never been treated like that by anybody at a restaurant. You have lost my business forever. If you don't want someone to use your restroom, fine, even though there are certain medical laws where people are allowed to use the restroom. This is absolutely insane to me. I don't know how this woman is even in the restaurant business. I physically felt Uncomfortable because this woman Was blocking the door. We've been to bonefish in several states. We feel like regulars here. This last time was sub par. We usually split a bowl of soup like corn and crab chowder. This time it was cold so the server took the BOWL back then brought what she said was a new soup. All they did was scrape it onto a PLATE, reheat it and put some more toppings on it. We could not hardly pick it up with a spoon since it was on a plate. My wife wanted shrimp and crab cake put would be charged $3 extra. The shrimp and scallops or the crab cake and steak was the same price. For a restaurant of this caliber there shouldn't be a charge to substitute similar items. It is basically the same menu I remembered. A couple of additions... but the Bang Bang Shrimp was still on the menu! Yea!! My husband and I have been going to Bonefish Grill for many years. We love the Bang Bang shrimp and many other items. Last night we went to celebrate my 60th birthday. Of course we had the Bang Bang shrimp and I had a side salad which had spinach leaves added and many were very wilted. My husband order the twin lobster tails and they were cooked perfectly but the butter was not butter it was a garlic butter cream like substance. We asked the server for drawn/melted butter and she returned with the same thing. The manager came by and acknowledged it was wrong and would go check - he never came back. For desert we ordered the pumpkin lava cake. There was no lava, it had been overcooked. I hope both Bonefish and the management improve or we will not be coming back. Which makes me sad.
