When seated we did not get any water, we had to ask for it after our drinks and app had arrived. Also all of the other tables around us received bread, we did not and it was never offered. Tried to eat here on my birthday. Never made it. We had reservations for 2 persons for 8:00 pm on a Friday night, and showed up around 7:45. We were given a beeper and directed to a waiting area. The restaurant wasn't busy-- no one else was waiting, and there were multiple open tables when we came in, many of which sat empty during our wait. We then sat there for the next 45 min and watched as one after another, three 2-person parties came in after us and were seated ahead of us. At 8:30 we finally got up, handed in our beeper-thingie, and left. On the way out we told the host in charge of seating (a bald thirty-ish guy with a hipster goatee and an "I don't care" attitude) that we had been waiting close to 45 minutes for our reserved table while others walked in without reservations and were seated ahead of us. He just looked blankly at us and sort of shrugged. We took our business elsewhere, and spent over a hundred bucks at a friendlier restaurant down the road. Lesson learned. This place is a joke. Call on the phone and get a 45 min wait, 5 min later we pull up and it's now magically a 90 min wait. So the Wife turns to talk to me asking if the way is ok. This is where I got upset not even 30 seconds into the wife and I's conversation she looks behind my wife and books a table for the people behind us. If we stepped aside or had taken a wile to discuss this I completely agree, but come on at least give us time to decide. read more

We did not tell her we were there for our 5th Wedding anniversary, but she must have seen my doodle on the table because she gave us a delicious dessert on her. Bonefish Grill is a great place to go for seafood. This location is stationed on Park City Mall's campus, so it is quite busy on weekends. We were seated promptly on Saturday evening. Avoiding wait time is always pleasant. We shared the bang bang shrimp and bacon-wrapped scallops for appetizers and for dinner I had the grilled salmon (large) with lemon butter sauce, green beans, and jasmine rice. The salmon was grilled perfectly, and it was a very meaty cut of fish. Some places have very flaky and soggy salmon, but not Bonefish.For dessert we shared the macadamia nut brownie which has a raspberry sauce and is served with ice cream and whipped cream. Our server was very polite, helpful, and efficient. Please note that Bonefish cannot serve more than one alcoholic drink at a time. Some servers 'break' this rule, but it is not typically supposed to be done. read more

We went there for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day with 7pm reservations. Our party consisted of 7 people. The restaurant was packed and we still seated by 7:15. Our server was awesome, she remembered all our drink orders without writing anything down and the drinks arrived quickly afterwards and each drink was correct. The signature martini's were excellent and for the most part priced reasonably. Our server kept the drinks flowing even thou it was very busy. My wife and I had the large ahi tuna appetizer and it was prepared perfectly. It was so large that I was able to have some along with my entree. My wife had the sea bass special and she said it was very good. I was not overly hungry so I ordered the Cajun fish tacos which were also very good. Overall I was extremely impressed with my first experience. From the drinks to the food to the service and, again for the most part, the prices, we had a really great time. If you are looking to go out somewhere "nicer" than the usual, Bonefish Grill is a good choice. My only regret is that I do not remember our servers name s I could compliment her here. read more

Bonefish Grill is one of my favorite restaurants. I go every Wednesday, most of my crew will just order Bang Bang Shrimp to go , but I usually sit down and have a few drinks and eat a meal. When I pulled up I noticed no cars in the lot and when I walked in there was one customer at the bar and maybe 4 tables occupied. I asked the bartender where everybody was and she said the day had been kinda funny. Anyway, I received an email about the Softshell Crab special so I ordered it and a drink. The crab cake that they put inside the softshell crab was awesome the softshell crab was horrible. In the future they should probably stay easy from Softshell crab. I've had it plenty of times before and Bonefish Grill has no business trying to pass this off as a special when it is barely edible. I told the bartender and she said she would pass it along to Management, I hope she didn't forget!! I usually don't take the time to write reviews but this situation needs attention, because it may be indicative to why the restaurant was empty!! read more

Many people we know have raved about this place, and perhaps we just went on a bad day, but we can't understand the hype. I'd rather eat at Red Lobster any day. We went around 4:30 pm on a Sunday, so it wasn't busy. Or server was efficient, if somewhat grouchy. No smiles or inflection in his voice but he kept our drinks filled and did a good job. The highlight of our dinner was the bang bang shrimp. They were pretty awesome. It went downhill from there. I got rainbow trout oscar style. The green beans were rotten. The fish was good. Just tasted like any old fish anywhere. The crab meat that was added was about a tablespoon full. My husband ordered a burger, well-done. Came out red. They made another one, cut it to make sure it was gray. It was. However, the other 2/3 of the burger was red again. If they can't cook a well done burger correctly, I'm scared that they are allowed to deal with seafood. They did take it off of our bill without us even asking, which was appreciated. Besides the burger and the rotten green beans, things were fine. Just ok. Nothing spectacular, but if I'm going to spend that amount of money, there are other places I would much rather go. I don't get the hype. I can't imagine that we'll return. Too many other places in the area that are way above average. Might have to get an order of Bang Bang shrimp to-go sometime though. read more

The good: We had reservations and got seated promptly. Overall service was timely and friendly. The bad: My knife had dried food on it. My water glass was chipped on the inside of the rim. These are details that should not be overlooked at this type of establishment. We had 2 extra chairs at our table, and during dinner servers kept taking and bringing back the extra chairs to our table. It was almost comedic, but really quite annoying. Our appetizer was some sort of fried dumpling. It was pretty good. I ordered a bowl of crab/corn chowder and a Cobb salad. The soup was very good, but it was a really small portion for the price. Probably less then a "cup" elsewhere. The Cobb salad was one of the worst I've had. The greens were 90% iceberg lettuce, the chicken was dry, they used flavorless Roma tomatoes, and the blue cheese choice was way too strong for this dish. The dressing seemed good, but hard to tell over the strong blue cheese. Oh yeah, there was a very hard, very small unidentified object that I had to spit out of my first bite. My wife ordered a fish taco meal that was average at best. Along with the food we had 2 beers and 2 martinis. Our bill was $60 before tip. My wife and I went recently, and we had a decent experience. Granted, this restaurant has only been open about a month, so we went there knowing to be patient. We got the Bang Bang Shrimp to start, and it was excellent. Great flavor, temperature, and texture. The beer list is horrendous for anyone wanting something other than standard American macrobrews, and they were out of one of the two draft beers that were appealing. The server said they were having trouble getting local brews, so hopefully that clears up soon. The mixed drinks were tasty, but pricey ($8.50 for an average sized martini). My wife had the stuffed tilapia for an entree, and loved it. Great flavors at a decent price. I had the sirloin and crab cake, which wasn't the best. Steak was okay (a little on the cool side). Crab cake had a lot of crab meat, but it was overcooked, dry, and falling apart. I'd go with something more fish-centric next time. The sides for both meals were fine. We skipped dessert. Service was a bit helter-skelter (again, they've only been open a month). We had at least four or five different people at our table for different reasons. We waited a while on water and the second round of drinks. Service should improve with time. We made a reservation and were seated within five minutes of arriving (we arrived early). The place was full and bustling, but not obnoxiously loud. They could use some drapes or blinds on the windows, as my wife was backlit the entire time and I couldn't see her face. We'd go back, but probably not for a while, to let them get their feet under them and work out the kinks. Update, one year later: the service has definitely improved with time, and a lot of the kinks seem to have been worked out. The beer list is still lacking, but the Bang Bang Shrimp is still worth the trip. read more

My husband and I dined here this evening. We ordered the bang-bang shrimp, lobster sliders and the lobster dinner in addition to 2 drinks. The drinks arrived, but the shrimp did not. We then got our food and told the waitress not to bother with the appetizer. She apologized profusely. Then the manager came out and apologized again and said that there would be no charge for our dinner. We said that that wasn't really necessary as our meals were fantastic, but he insisted. Not only that, our drinks were also on the house. We left a $10 tip even though our waitress insisted she didn't deserve one. We will return next week as the attitude and customer service is outstanding as is the food! read more

For the price, the food was not impressive. We went to a Bonefish Grill in South Carolina that got five stars. We loved it, but this one is not great. The vegetables were very crunchy. The lemon butter on the seafood was lacking lemon and very gloppy. I had scallops and shrimp and the shrimp was nearly flavorless. My husband got salmon and said it also lacked flavor. We have had dinner at this Bonefish several times, food and service have always been spot on. My wife ordered the Pad Thai and it was a bit spicy, to her credit she tried to eat it but after a couple of bites, it was too much. Our waitress offered to comp the meal but we refused, stating that I could take it home and have it for lunch the next day. My wife ordered a replacement and while packing up the Pad Thai in a box, my mother's wine glass was knocked over, I don't know whose fault it was but no harm, a replacement was brought out and everything cleaned up. The manager comp'd the entire meal, drinks and all. We thank everyone for the generosity. Went for lobster specials featured on Tuesdays. Lobster tail with French green beans and Caesar salad was a great deal, and executed very well. Our problem was temperature; we both wore sweaters and we still were quite cold until the end of the meal. Broad selection of reasonably priced American wines. But, white wine is not Budweiser: it need not be chilled to ice-cold. In fact, our excellent Cakebread chardonnay was too cold to taste until the last sip. Friendly and attentive device. Choices are good, but I ended up getting a salmon goat cheese salad similar to like what I get elsewhere, so I knew what it should taste like. I t met my expectations and was well worth the value. I'd been to a couple of Bonefish Grille restaurants and thought they were fairly good. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We got there at 6pm on a Friday and got seated immediately. The place seems inordinately loud...I guess it's the wide open set up with no walls to breakup the dinning area. She ordered a Patron Margarita and I got a Stella Artois. She loved the drink and who doesn't love a Stella. That was the best part of the evening. The Bang Bang Shrimp was not worth the $9 they charged...like a previous reviewer noted: they tasted like they were cooked in oil left over from a McDonalds. My wive's crab cakes were about half the size we are used to getting when we eat out in the Baltimore area. I guess we should have known better but that's what she wanted. The crab cakes weren't bad...just not enough for the money. The tilapia imperial I ordered was flavorless and over cooked. I finished it because I never send food back as you never know what you're going to get back! Both of us were a little hungry after our entrees so we each so we each ordered creme brûlée for desert. Must have been made earlier in the day and stuck in the fridge...ice cold and no real sugar crust. I should have went with my original idea (Bucca di Beppo's).
