Got seats right away at the bar, were greeted immediately by our bartender/server. Quieter atmosphere even though it was Martini Monday. Bang bang shrimp is a staple for us, got a massive portion, not too spicy with a good crispy crunch. Seasonal black pepper udon with chicken was delicious. First time eating there. Seated in the booth promptly and was excepting a nice quiet monday dinner. Service was okay but they obviously over served the booth behind us. They were loud obnoxious using foul language for over an hour and it's not me being unreasonable they were obviously disrupting the entire dinning room. The service was excellent . The lobster bisque was horrible it tasted like there was vodka or something in it I've had better elsewhere. My daughter and I both ordered it . It was her first time ever to try it and I told her do not judge the taste by this first cup, it can be delicious. I did not complain due to it being my daughter's graduation dinner . Bonefish should be better for what they charge. Nice atmosphere, well turned out staff. Pretty good, but expensive wine offerings. The big problem is the menu is expensive and the food is not that good. Had the $38 Chilean sea bass with the whipped, mashed potato and broccoli. The Applebee's blackened salmon with mashed and broccoli is a better dish at $20. Also, I have probably been to a Bonefish Grill over 5 times. Not once has their latte, cappuccino machine EVER been working. They should be better for what they charge. read more

Bonefish has my very favorite happy hour menu. You cannot go wrong with the mussels or ahi for the price. We have tried many Bonefish grills and pretty much enjoy them all. The food is always good. Don't think we have had a bad meal. Service is always prompt and they know their food. And you never ever think you're entering a dive bar as Bonefish grills are quite well decorated. Decided to eat here for my mother in laws birthday for a change of scenery from caribbas. Started off with the bread and honestly we ate like 4 loaves with the seasoned oil it was THAT GOOD! I got the churrasco steak with chimichurri sauce and broccoli. The steak was amazing, but broccoli was weird. Part was undercooked and some mushy. Mashed potatoes were yummy! They came out hot and crispy, and it seemed like there was enough for four people in the bowl but there was only two of us. For our entrees I went with the Parmesan crusted trout with the Mac and cheese and Caesar side salad. Everything was hot and the salad was fresh. My wife went with the mahi mahi and loved the chimichurri to go on with it. Her sides were the Kung Pao Brussels sprouts and the risotto. Everything on her plate was amazing too. If you like brussel sprouts order these they will not disappoint. I have to also say our service was amazing and it seems like they had refurbished since the last time we were there. Our server Cynthia was great and the manager Tom came by to just check on us twice. I also made my reservations with ease using their website. Everything about our visit was great. I have enjoyed this restaurant for nearly 20 years. Today I had one of the best meals ever. I ate outside and they treated us like royalty. Special thanks to Jesse, Marissa, Jonathan, the chefs, and the hostess. I've been coming here for nearly 20 years. I have always enjoyed it and had great meals but today was ultra special and being served by Jessie really meant something and the way that the staff and Marissa treated myself and my dog really made me, feel like family. We ate outside and we had an amazing food experience. I hope my pictures reflect how good these people really excel it what they do and I can only say give them a shot because it's one of the best restaurants anywhere. I started with a tropical heat martini which included vodka, fresh flavors of mango, and it was garnish with a spicy sweet sugar rim, which I never do of the best cocktails I've ever had ordered some sashimi tuna, which is one of my favorites. Nice slices of tuna with wasabi soy and sashimi sauce on the side. The flavor combination is wonderful. I tried to dragon fruit Margarita, but that wasn't my thing the tequila over dominated the drink. Next I had a dirtymartini which was servedwith blue cheese olives. I ordered the bistro fillet which came out a perfect medium rare. It was served with chimichurri sauce on the side and a grilled lemon which one squeezed on the steak. Gave it a wonderful flavor. I chose two premium sides, which I never tried before first was the creamy Parmesan risotto drizzled with herb oil. What an amazing side dish it was so good tasting. The other premium side I got a special it was pumpkin ravioli, which I've never had in my life. It was top with feta crumbles, crunchy onions, sage, and butter absolutely delicious. I took home a piece of their drunken coconut pie with rum sauce on the side and real whip cream. I ate that at home. I've had several times and it is absolutely amazing. The chef's prepared a plain burger for my honey.Thank you all for a great afternoon. I left my car and took a ride home. We've always had wonderful experiences at other Bonefish Grill locations,but Sunday's (June 1) was the worst. Despite empty tables and booths,the hostess said we and others behind us had to wait because servers were busy filling take- out orders! Unless we wanted to sit on bar stools. Two of us have mobility issues and could not. Poor management!!! Food was underwhelming and overpriced. Our guest wanted lobster, and our server was confusing as to what was available and at what price,but all "sweetie and honey" like we knew her. Our guest wound up with one lobster tail for $20 and a crab cake for additional $9. No sides! My crab cakes were very salty and my brother's soup too. No drink refills were offered. Not Bonefish 's best moment. This location needs to do better! read more

I know Bonefish is a chain restaurant but don't you ever sleep on it! This is hands down the best chain out there. The food is so fresh and the flavors are plentiful! Service was out of this world (shout out to Laura!) They have a specials menu that gets switched out often with delicious new dishes. We started with the shrimp Rangoon dip. It was perfectly creamy from the cream cheese and the sweet tai chili sauce brought it all together. They also have a shrimp Rangoon topped salmon that's to die for! I got the shrimp and scallop scampi. The portions are huge and the prices are great! The scallops on the scampi sauce is making me drool as I think about it all over again. I was stuffed and barely ate half! We finished with the key lime cake. I made the mistake of ordering a Cobb Salad at Bonefish Grill for take out. I have never been more disappointed that I was with this Salad that was supposed to contain egg, bacon & avocado. I could not find any in this Salad and if it could get any worse the dressing cup wasn't even half filled. The grilled chicken that came with it had absolutely no flavor at all. It's a shame that you are paying about $18 for a Salad with expectations of that value and you end up getting something like this. I always get great food here. The bread is delicious and get devoured in seconds. I got the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and the Tilapia Imperial. Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos: I know this is a popular menu item and it makes sense because these tacos are filled to the brim with fried shrimp and taste banging. I got it with a side of fries which complimented it well. The fries were perfectly crispy. Tilapia Imperial: basically my first time having actual fish at Bonefish and it didn't disappoint. They stuff it with shrimp, scallops, crab meat and cheese (of course) so delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. I had no complaints. I got mine with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes were creamy and soft as they should be. But let me just say the broccoli the SO GOOD. I think it caught me off guard because you just expect some basic salted steamed broccoli. Our meal was great....one small hiccup but quickly remedied. Service was the best. Greg was in top form. The only reason they're not getting five stars, is the pre-calculated tipping advice at the bottom of the receipt is WAY OFF! Mind you I don't think this is the restaurant fault I think it is a corporate programming issue however, diners should be aware that the amounts can be vary by as much as 5 to 6 to $10 more than it should be. we made management aware of this and they said they would follow up with corporate but diner should be aware until the problem is fixed perhaps always check those amounts that are suggested. read more

Usually when going to Bonefish we have no complaints. This time it just wasn't the same. We understand places are understaffed in all departments but we are also paying customers. The food was good for the most part except the broccoli came out cold and without a lot of flavor. We had to ask for things on more than one occasion and still never received some items. The worst Bonefish I've been to. It looked dirty, like it was under construction. The waitress with the pink hair was nice and friendly, but the white coat waiter tossed our straws at us. Not what I expect from Bonefish but ok. Then, my elderly dad who ordered hot tea was given a regular soft drink straw (to stir hot tea)... waiter literally said, "You can stir with this." My husband and I thought he was joking but he never brought a teaspoon until I had to ask him for one; he had the waitress bring it. It was a family reunion so I didn't want to make a fuss. Finally, when the food arrived, I was missing the second side; so I had to ask for my broccoli. This has never happened before at any other location. We come here fairly regularly, we enjoy the atmosphere and the selection of items pleases everyone in the family. Our visit this time was disappointing. Starting with the service. We were seated for an uncomfortable amount of time before waitstaff acknowledged us and took a drink order- like the length of time that everyone at our table starts looking around wondering if anyone realizes we are there... The waitress was not personable at all, I could forgive that- if she made up for it in efficiency-- unfortunately she didn't. Took forever to get basic drink refills and my husband never did get that second beer he asked for... As for the food-- Bang Bang Shrimp, always a good start. My son ordered the lobster roll, which was supposed to be tossed in the bang bang sauce according to the menu- it was not. But that's ok, because the condition of the roll was enough of a distraction not to notice the lack of sauce. The roll was soggy wet on the bottom and literally brick-hard crunchy on the top. I feel like someone in the kitchen should have noticed this. My husband's fish was room temperature so he ate the lobster out of my son's dinner. We paid our bill- over $120, without incident and left. Not cool considering half of our family didn't really get a meal. I dined at this location in Lakeland this past Monday with a friend and was blown away by not only the food and service but the gorgeous new vibe of the interior. Since it was Monday, Bonefish features $5 Martinis and we both decided to partake. He went with a diry martini and I enjoyed their Ocean Trust Tropic Heat Martini. I am a spice girl and this martini did not disappoint. Made with Absolut vodka that has been house-infused with pineapples, freshly muddled mango, lemon juice and garnished with a thin slice of jalapeño, it was just what I needed to get my week off to a good start. Aside from the great taste, each purchase of this drink helps Bonefish support the Ocean Trust Foundation. How cool is that? One of my favorite dishes at Bonefish has always been Mussels Josephine, so of course we had to have them. They were just as I remembered and we devoured them in no time. Anxious to try some of the seasonal features on their specials menu, he went with the Creole-Style Redfish and I had Kate's Wild North Atlantic Haddock. My wife and I celebrated our 16th year anniversary at Bonefish Grill last night. Thanks Bonefish and to Sierra our waitress who gave us space and time to reflect on our wonderful 16 years together. I had a small bouquet of flowers delivered before we arrived, I know my wife and what she was thinking when she saw the small bouquet at the table, oh wow, how small! Then right after our appetizer was served Sierra delivered a real big bouquet of wild flowers! My wife was surprised and said what's this? Come on honey, it's for 16 great years! We ate dinner, then right after, just before dessert, one of the managers came by with the 2nd bouquet of flowers and a box of truffles. My wife was very surprised and a little overwhelmed!
