I have had nothing but great experiences at this place.. I have eaten here several times a month and I am a big steak eater. The steak is always cooked to perfection and the spinach is a treat. We ordered carry out once and they forgot to put my shrimp (another fan favorite item), in the bag. The manager at the time told me to let him know next time I came in and he would honor my order. I went in two months later and I got my shrimp on the house. John is one of the better waiters and is very attentive and polite. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

Went her on a Saturday and ordered the bang bang shrimp, fish tacos and my friend ordered crab. The food was good I have no complaints as far as that. The bang bang shrimp was bomb as usual and you get plenty with your order (I could have ordered it as a meal if we're being honest lol). The bread is and oil spread was good to eat too (I had to slow down because I was getting full off it) Since we went on the weekend we had slim pickings for sitting and had to sit close to the kitchen which is the only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars. The kitchen of course was busy and loud of courses that's to be expected but the head chef or GM was very loud and abrasive towards the kitchen staff. It's hard to be efficient if someone is yelling at you to hurry up. Other than that the host was helpful and our waiter was diligent. I did a pickup order with the bang bang shrimp. It was nothing like the pictures I seen online. It was not good at all and the portion was small. They put the sauce on the side. Maybe they only had small shrimp at the time but on the pictures online the shrimps are at least medium. I will not waste my money here anymore. This place used to have the best lump crab cake , which I just ordered a month ago and went back two weeks ago & last Tuesday , but the last two times ,the Filler was overwhelming. Considering this is in Brandywine... Considering this is a chain... Considering there are so few good places to eat in this area... I was truly impressed! If you come here blindfolded (and get someone else to drive you...lol...) you'd think you were at a downtown restaurant in DC. We always sit at the bar - and they are fine with folks eating a full meal at the bar. The drinks on special are REALLY good (yummy sidecar!) and REALLY cheap and surprisingly (unlike downtown DC) are available all the time, not just during happy hour (though they do have separate happy hour specials) The warm bread is very good The coconut shrimp is fantastic! wow... Surprisingly I am not a fan of the bang-bang shrimp. Maybe I need to try them again... The salmon with asian sauce is excellent! The rice and green beans and spinach are my favorite sides. A great place to hang out with friends or family. They have a great brunch (not a lot of choices) with unlimited Mimosas and Bellinis. The menu is filled with delicious choices. They have a Bar with great service and a dining area for a more sit down setting. Clean restrooms and a overall great ambience. Lots of parking, great staff and great food! I received an email advertisement for lobster meals for $19.99, so decided to come for dinner with my son. I ordered the lobster thermidor as I have had it before. To drink I had a martini. Service was great as usual. Unfortunately, the entree had a bit too much pepper than I would prefer, but it was tolerable as I was quite hungry and did not want to send it back. Management reached out and a year later we were able to revisit this location to retry the food. Unfortunately the chain has not changed the recipe for their mashed potatoes, which is no fault of the staff, so I advise against getting them! Besides that all of the food we ordered was delicious! I got the Poke bowl and my husband got the salmon. We also got bang bang shrimp as we have for over decade and it came out delicious even with it being picked up and driven home. If the food quality remains like this over what it was before I definitely want to return and continue me and my spouses anniversary dinner tradition again. If we go in-person any time soon before we relocate I'll be sure to review update again on our in-person experience. Thank you guys for fixing up! I had not been to Bonefish in Brandywine,MD. in quite sometime. Well, it was my Hubby's Birthday, I figured the variety of the menu was good for the party of 10. It was a great start, they accommodated the same day reservation. The table was set up and ready! It was a mellow ambiance, except they turned down the lights pretty low. I didn't like that. The server started out well. Drinks and Appetizers and the bread came out. Then...it kind of went down hill from there. We had to wait for our order to be taken. Ok, we tracked him down for that. Then we finally started getting our food. Plates came out a little at a time. One plate came out super late, and we had to bring his attention to that. 2 of us ordered Salmon, both plates it was burnt and hard! They had to be sent back. Then my salmon came back out and the Salmon was was raw on the inside! At that point I was done! I didn't want anything at that point! The second plate came out later and that one was ok. We had to call the manager over. Then the bill came out with numbers scratched out and written on! They wrote down the tip and the total? Which was not correct! We requested another bill. I felt like they were trying to get over! I still tipped the waiter, because I didn't want to totally penalize him. However, this will be my last visit to that Bonefish. read more

But you don't offer us celiacs/gluten sensitives anything to replace the bread & olive oil, which is sad. Maybe corn chips or rice crackers?? Now I would like to start off by saying our waitress Ashley did a great job that's why they got 2 stars instead of 1 I would never take away from great customer service!! So to start off I ordered the bang bang shrimp they were great. The ceviche was tasty but it didn't match the chips, everything kept falling off the chip that was a headache. I also ordered the crab fried rice which didn't taste like it had crab in it at all, the stuffed tilapia didn't taste like much and the seasoned veggies were soaked in butter. The pork chop and sweet potato mash were okay. However I'm not sure why but the Mac n cheese was horrible. I was really hoping that this place was gonna be awesome but I was very disappointed! Decided to have the fish tacos, which came with 3 tacos and mash potatoes. After eating 1 taco, I immediately became sick and tried to finish the remainder the following day ... same thing happened. I did not finish the tacos. As a result, threw away the meal. I would not recommend the fish tacos from this location. It's ok generally the food is ok but nothing really great and sometimes the waiters or waitresses are hit or miss...meaning sometimes they are good and sometimes they are not. The last visit our waitress did come back and check but the other times I don't recall them coming back and it took our food a while to come. This was about my 3rd, maybe fourth, time here. It is a bit expensive for the class of restaurant it is but the food is always enjoyable and my service has been good each time. Appetizers: The bang bang shrimp are a fan favorite. They're pretty tasty. I had the calamari this time and it was cooked very well. I don't eat the tentacles. (I was discretely told that I can ask for all rings next time) Entree: I had one of the specials this go 'round. The Dayboat Scallops. This is prepared with risotto and bacon and some sauce from heaven. It is very flavorful which I like and the scallops were big and cooked to perfection. I have gotten the lamp chops to go before and I felt at that time they were cook a little too well. I prefer medium and I think they did medium well. But the meal in its entirety was good. I've had a few drinks from here also, whatever martini they are advertising at the time. They have a good thing going at the bar. As always I don't mind paying the prices if its going to be good food and service and they place hasn't disappointed me yet. NOTE: The floor is slippery for some reason. Whatever resin or coating is on the hardwood floors will have you flexing your calf muscles and toning your hip-flexers if you're in heels. You've been warned. read more

After essentially seating ourselves after waiting 5 minutes at the hostess stand, we then waited an additional 10 minutes at the table before deciding it was a lost cause. I don't think anyone even noticed that we left but at least 4 different servers walked by our table without acknowledging us. The place had maybe 10 people in the bar and 5 occupies tables in the dining area. There was a woman who walked out with us and she said she waited 20 minutes just for them to accept her payment on a takeout order. That's 20 minutes after her food was done so clearly she left the restaurant with cold food. We went to Cheddars instead and have no plans to return to this particular Bonefish. Yikes. read more

We got to the restaurant 40 minutes before closing. Showing up that late, you never know what type of food and service you're going to get. Our waiter, Donovan was exceptional. He was courteous, attentive, made recommendation and over all pleasant. He went the extra mile at the end of the day. Had no clue we were traveling from out of state and we're tired and hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her entree (she's extremely picky) but all the food was hot and fresh. The manager made every attempt to offer my wife another option but she was satisfied with her salad and bang bang shrimp. Came here with my sister and her friends for her birthday. My sister and her friends are all visually impaired. I know sometimes it can be a little frustrating to people dealing with people with disabilities, but I can assure you this location is not one of those places. They were able to accommodate all of us and the waiters were so nice and helpful. They actually had braille menus they could use. And if any of them had any questions on things that were on the menu or not they were able to help and assist them with ordering. Okay, so I finally got to get into Bonefish Grill without having to wait an hour or more (not my style). Yes, the Bang Bang Shrimp was banging! I also had the shrimp tacos along with a red Sangria and all were quite tasty. Service was okay but the waitress was not as attentive as necessary for our party of nine. I plan to return to the restaurant for Bang Bang Wednesdays so we can enjoy the shrimp for $5! The creme brulee, one of my favorite desserts, was as good as it looks (see photos)! read more

This was my daughter & I first time here. We really enjoyed ourselves. My waitress Olivia was awesome, she was personable and welcoming .. For appetizer I ordered the bang bang shrimp ... One of my favorite places to dine in Brandywine. The food is delicious, especially the Maryland Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. Second time here, once was in Ohio. Food is pretty darn good, I mostly eat fish, so this place suits my meal plan well. Rainbow trout is very good, but they give you enough for two portions. I took half home. The bang bang shrimp is very good too, I tasted some of my friends. My son enjoyed the Mac and cheese from the kids menu, he has a seafood allergy so I wouldn't let him order much else. Nice drink menu and good atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time at Bonefish Grill. I always do. They just don't seem to get the customer service right ever. it's not horrible but to get 5 stars I need less goof ups. My waitress was very nice as a person and went out of her way to get things right but I just think that she was to inexperienced. Now to the food. I had the shrimp and seafood soup for starters and it was the best. I just found out that the boom boom shrimp can come with the sauce on the side which I now can get finally. Now to the main course, I have grilled fish and I have to say that it was cooked to perfection. The veggies were seasoned perfectly and the au gratin potatoes were perfect. Absolutely disgusting. Almost every dish came out with a very odd/offish taste, most likely due to being rotten. Mashed potatoes smelled like sweaty feet, fish wasn't all that better, and neither was the 'filet mignon'. It was my first time trying filet mignon and was nothing special, really no different, or any better than a ribeye. Asparagus was terrible and broccoli was freaking soggy and gross. They seriously thought they could pull off adding dumplings to their menu, when it tastes nor looks anything like it. They tasted like cardboard with the most ridiculous made filling I've ever tried in my life. Yes the service was nice, excellent servers and intricate lighting and decor.
