Not sure what happened to my review but I'm reposting a version from Google. When you say Bonefish, I say Bang Bang! I've always had great service and food with the exception of the last visit. This was a reserved party of 15 adults for 11:30am brunch. At 11:25 about 12 of us had arrived and we still had to wait to be seated. We were served water and literally 20 minutes later he returned with an entourage who took drink and food orders. All were filled quickly and we chatted amongst ourselves not realizing it had been about 30 minutes. My Bang Bang app was delicious as was was my Oscar Omelet: Asparagus, crab, smoked mozzarella, basil, lemon butter. Then the waiting game began again. The first rounds of checks were wrong and we continued to wait. Almost thirty minutes after requesting checks we were free to go. We checked in for 5 o'clock and we waited 20 minutes after 5 to be seated was told by waitress no matter what time you checked in even if you checked in first you were last or in the middle to be called according to their system. I've eaten at Bonefish a handful of times and every time has been a good experience. The serving staff is attentive even when they are busy and the food always cooked well. Tonight I had a filet cooked medium, whipped mashed potatoes and spinach with garlic and butter. I paired my meal with a red blend wine and it was all delicious! If you haven't eaten at Bonefish I recommend you do at least once. read more

Pertaining to a visit on Saturday, 17 December. I and my wife like going to Augusta's Bonefish. We found the meals to be well cooked and delicious. However, and yes there's a however, our last visit with friends all the way from North Carolina, was not the best experience I have had. The seating was good. No waiting for a table for four. The hostess was friendly as always. We ordered our drinks and they came quickly. Ordered our meal course and we chatted as we waited and even had some nice warm bread that was served. I ordered the Pork chop with the bone. I have had it before at my last visit to Bonefish and at that tine ti was cooked to perfection, unfortunately not at this visit. My meal came and I could see it was unusually dark in color. Hmmmm- a taste quickly told me it was no only overcooked but burnt almost to a crisp. I summoned our server, informed her of the problem and she quickly took it away to get another pork chop meal and after some time the second one arrived. Ok, now it wasn't burnt but it was still overcooked. But now my guest were just about finishing their meals so anymore returning and getting a new dish was just not suitable. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. I didn't. Will this stop me from coming back, No. I will be back and hopefully the next time the pork chop will once again be cooked to perfection! read more

Always happy with Bonefish Grill's service and food. I'm from Cincinnati and just had Bonefish Grill on my Birthday a couple of weeks ago and everything was perfect. Now back again at another state and still a happy customer. My mom has never been and wanted to treat her for dinner. We went on a weekday and was seated right away. This location is in a plaza on Washington Road next to Whole foods, DSW and Home Goods. It's right off the I-20 exit. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We got our waters and order taken right away. I started off with the Concannon Pinot Noir for $6.70 and both my mother and I got waters with lemon. For dinner I got my usual: Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout- artichoke hearts, fresh basil, lemon butter, fresh seasonal vegetable + choice of one fresh side (Broccoli) for $17.50. My mom got: Corn Chowder + Lump Crab with a hint of bacon (Cup of Soup) and Shrimp Pad Thai rice noodles, green onions, peanuts,egg + traditional Pad Thai sauce both for $14.90. While waiting for our dinner, we were offered bread with the side of pesto dipping sauce. Bread is fresh as always. We got our meal less than 20 minutes. Everything was made to our liking. Came out hot, seafood fresh and had great taste. Our server kept our waters refilled. She was prompt at giving us our bill and a to go box. Bonefish Grill has never let me down. I typically visit on Sundays for brunch. I've always had a great meal and great service. This last visit, we had the Endless Bubbles brunch, which is a great deal. You get a choice of three drinks and several brunch options all for $20. I decided to go with the Bellini for my Endless Bubbles choice and the Cajun Shrimp Omelet for brunch. Both excellent choices. The Cajun Shrimp Omelet was perfection. It was served with Au Gratin Potatoes and toast. My favorited part were the vegetables. There were red peppers, green peppers and onions - an awesome trio. We also stayed for a lil' while just chatting and our waiter just kept the drinks coming. He was also really nice with great timing. No constant question asking, which is a gift in my opinion. He always sensed the pause in our conversation and then popped in to check on us. Currently, the plaza in which Bonefish Grill is located is undergoing a little construction in preparation for new stores, so the parking lot is a little crazy. This place needs some help. I gave them three stars for the food after we finally got it after an hour after being seated. Joined their wait list at 6:20 pm. We got there at 6:40 and checked in with their WEIRD hostesses. Staring at people like we were aliens.. Not sure what that was about but anyway.... I saw people just going in and saying there was a 20 minute wait. I'm pretty patient but I went up and asked one of the 3 Sanderson sisters. She said 'Oh I'm sorry, your number got erased somehow and I was waiting for you to come back and ask'. This was at 7:10 pm. (Like, WT blankety blank)?. Anyway we got seated immediately The bang bang shrimp app is always great. Had to ask for bread. No salad arrived before our entrees. Had to ask for that. There was a time I would refer to "Bonefish Grill" as my favorite restaurant. My recent visit was not that great. Sunday evening (OCT 5) and the restaurant was about half full. Crackers and other crumbs were under the table we were seated at. The server was forgetful in many ways. She did not check on us often, we usually had to flag her down when we saw her. When we made reasonable requests she did not complete the request until we flagged her down and made the request again. The food for three members of my party of four met our expectations. The fourth person had to send his meal back, twice. I thought the portions were too small for the price they charged, maybe the plate was too big. If the place was packed I would have been more understanding. read more

My brunch here started out well and ended up with me singing like the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date," just to get my check. There is nothing worse than eating food and having to wait twice as long for the check. I was here with a group, but they did know we were coming in advance. The checks were goofed up at the end and the wait got rid of any goodwill that might have been left. During my meal the service was fantastic and my drink was always full. There were a few missing things like jam or butter for bread, but that's not too big of a deal. As far as the food goes, the brunch was good. If you arrive before 12:30 you can't indulge in alcohol but if you plan on staying until that time you can place an order in advance. I started with the calamari appetizer ($9.70) Which is flash-fried with peppers and sweet spicy Asian sauce. There wasn't anything amazing about the portion of the flavors. I would rather order the Bang Bang Shrimp next time. My wife ordered the Bang Bang Eggs Benedict ($9.90) with fresh lemonade ($3.50). The dish was deceivingly small because she ended up pretty full. The shrimp added nice flavor and the potatoes were fantastic. I ordered the Western omelette ($8.70) That came with a bland turkey chorizo, cheddar, cilantro, onions, ranchero, and lime sour cream. It was all just OK and I think I enjoyed the potatoes more than anything else. When I could cook a better meal at home, why would I go out and pay for it? Recently visited with a large group for lunch. Although our food service took awhile, we had a great time until it was time to pay. The inside reminds me of a sand dune... interesting. I ordered the Maryland Crab Cake starter. It was delicious, with large pieces of lump crab and a very tasty sauce with a spicy bite. Don't order this if you're expecting the usual breaded and fried cake. This one was broiled and very tasty. For my meal I had the Cajun Shrimp Omelet. It was alright, but I couldn't taste the "cajun". The real flaw of the afternoon was the extra salty Bloody Mary. Everyone at the table sent theirs back... there was plenty of alcohol, but I couldn't drink it because of the salty mix. My server took it off with no problem and exchanged it for a blackberry sangria. That was a good call. Once our meal was over, it took over 30 minutes to get our checks. Then once we got them, it took another 20 minutes to get our checks correct. That ruined any of the goodness of the meal. In all, I doubt I would come back for brunch on my own. However, if someone asked me to join them I would say yes because the music was an awesome mix of oldies but goodies. read more

I've only been here a couple times for the Bang Bang Shrimp--which is awesome and worth a trip in itself. But I'm here now to recommend the Brunch! I don't know if many people know about it because the restaurant wasn't crowded at all when we went. But go on Sunday at 12:30 if you love breakfast and mimosas or sangria. Get the Endless Bubbles deal. Get any of the Eggs Benedicts (I ordered the Surf & Turf and it was awesome) and then thank me later. You can get bellinis, sangrias, champagne, mimosas--and as many as you want with this deal! The drinks were good but I haven't had brunch this delicious since I was last in Charleston, SC. The eggs popped perfectly and combined so well with the lobster and filet mignon on an English muffin. And swap the asparagus for the potatoes au gratin if you're a carb-lover like me. Our waitress was fun and the service seemed excellent, just to top it off! The bathrooms are clean, which is always a make or break deal for me. The only downside is the parking, since this has become such a busy center. We have been saying that BF should now offer a valet in this center. Anyway, awesome food with more than I could even eat, awesome drinks, great staff. And only $19.99! read more

I've taken the family here on a few occasions for brunch, and we're not terribly impressed. I'm not sure why we've given them multiple chances (maybe a lack of other brunch options around town), but we probably won't be headed back anymore. For the positives - the food was is decent (french toast in particular), and I've had very pleasant waiters on each visit. That's about all I can commend them on. The food, while decent, is certainly not worth the price and wait. I've enjoyed the brunch options and appetizers, but you can find far better options of each item all over town. For wait times, we've had a common theme of waiting for a table and food, even when the restaurant wasn't packed, and even when we had reservations. On our most recent trip, we had reservations for 12:30, and seating/service took so long that we weren't getting any food until after 2:00. I don't care how pleasant everyone on the staff is, that kind of restaurant/crowd/kitchen management just isn't okay. read more

First time eating here and I will be coming back! Customer service was superb. Thanks to my server Eddie. He was amazing, very attentive, made sure we had enough bread, and my drink was always refilled; even when it didn't need refilling. The environment was nice. It was a bit cold inside though. The host was greeted me and sister as soon as we came in. Ohh and the food was great! I got the Tilapia Imperial with garlic whipped potatoes and sautéed spinach. Loved loved this place. I actually ate here after my college graduation, and despite the packed house, the service was fast and the food was beyond my expectations. The interior is clean and much nicer than I had anticipated. The food came out faster than I thought given that every single person in Augusta seems to be in there that day. The quality of the food was excellent and didn't taste like they were made in a rush. My favorite had to be the Crab fried rice, Lobster roll, and surprisingly the Pad Thai. Let me tell ya about the Pad Thai.....Thai food basically runs in my veins, so it came quite as a shock when I tried Bonefish Grills Pad Thai. It tasted more authentic than a lot of Thai restaurants I've been to. The Crab Fried Rice had so many chunks of real crab in it that I didn't want to share it with anyone in my family. Amazing! My dad and I had THE. BEST. FILET MIGNON that I have EVER had at any restaurant, including any of the top hat restaurants in any of the 6 states in which I have lived. Cooked to perfection, my filet was tender and so flavorful! It was so wonderful an experience that we went back the next night! The ambiance is relaxing, our servers were top notch, and the bartender really knew her business! My dad loves a Scotch Old Fashioned, and he says it was the best he's ever tasted. Awful experience for a anniversary for me and my date. Waitress absolutely forgot we even existed. It took us 10-15 minutes to get service at our tables for drinks, which we already had enough time to look over our order. Then when the drinks came, no straws. We waited 5 minutes for that, which wasn't delivered by our waitress. She completely disappeared, so I had to ask someone else. Then while eating my spicy food, my drink was empty. She never came back to check on anything. I had to flag her down 10 minutes after emptying my drink. She assured that she was coming back for my refill, then completely forgot about me. She assisted others and forgot about our existence until I asked for a box and the check since I was fed up with the service..... then she brought out the refills, which we didn't want anymore because we waited another 10 minutes on refills. $60.89 for this, completely embarrassing experience. I had to apologize to my date for the terrible service. I will never come back to this location after this experience. Literally no one noticed us leaving besides the ladies at the door. I honestly feel robbed and embarrassed by this experience, and I hope leaving no tip shows our waitress how bad her and the restaurant's experience was despite her trying to be "nice". read more

I made a terrible mistake! The dinner described below was truly awful, but it was NOT Bonefish Grill, it was Carrabba's, so I will make those changes below. I sincerely apologize to Bonefish Grill for this mistake. We haven't gone out to dinner in a long time due to the pandemic, so this was a special occasion. I was so surprised to see that Carrabba's was less than a 1/3 full on a weekend holiday night (4 July)! Our fried calamari appetizer was tasteless and greasy. They were so tiny and the calamari rings inside the breading were like teeny-tiny hard dried greasy tasteless rubber bands. The breading was white (rice flour?), nicely crunchy, but oily and completely tasteless. My partner's dinner, a seasonal menu option: wolfish, was tough and greasy. It came with greens (baby spinach and ??) which were absolutely drowning in oil. The plate was swimming in it. I had a really good side Caesar salad, and an AWFUL shrimp scampi appetizer (as my dinner option) which was sooooo salty and drowning in oil that it was inedible. The waiter was great. We tipped him to make up (hopefully) for other potentially bad tips because of the kitchen's shortfalls. read more

Bonefish seafood and ambiance are both top notch. Their bread is insanely delicious as well. I was craving some seafood so I went for their salmon with mashed potatoes and potatoes au gratin. Salmon was fresh and juicy with no "fishy" taste. However, the portion size was absolutely tiny for the price (~$17). Their fish and chips are delicious as well since the fish is very tender and not dry. Finished off the meal with their lovely creme brulee which I HIGHLY recommend. It's the best creme brulee I have ever eaten, and I would come here again and again just for their dessert. Great food, just wish it wasn't so expensive so I could come back more often. read more

When We Arrived A Woman Named Joy Greeted My Younger Cousin Age 24 By Letting Her Know There Was No Reservation. She Claimed All servers Were On Break. We Waited Patiently While Joy Continued To Berate My Cousin For About 10-15 Minutes Insisting That She Made A Mistake When Booking The Reservation. To The Point That She Was Moved To Tears. She Actually Cried In The Bonefish Bathroom. I Requested To Speak With A Manager And Joy Asked Why. She Referred To My Family As A "Bad Party" Close Enough For Us To Hear. When We Spoke With The Manager Joy Inserted Herself Into The Conversation And Told Me We Were Lucky To Be Seated. She Continued To Be Aggressive Even After Being Told How Much She Upset My Young Cousin. She Was Horrible To Us Today. The Manager Did Try Her Best To Hear Our Concerns But Joy Doubled Down And Continued To Talk Loudly To My Family And I. Ultimately We Left The Restaurant Without Eating Which Was The Worst Part Because We Love This Place So Much. I Come At Least Once A Month And Have Never Had This Sort Of Issue Before. 2 stars! Sorry! Bonefish Grill in Augusta has gone down. The quality of food smh... I came here last week, took my mom out, hoping to eat some good quality fish. I had come here in January 2019, the food was great, nicely presented and all, now I come and I get undercooked and slimy Chilean bass, with a blob of potato gratin which looked like a blob of macroni and cheese, and a side of pitiful looking fat and over boiled, colorless asparagus. I mean come on really??? The waiter Michel was sweet and very apologetic did his best to keep us happy. I returned the fish, and I think they just kept it near the stove because it was warm but still slimy and not flaky.. when fish is cooked from inside, it is flaky not shiny nor chewy. Mom ordered a steak, medium well done, it was burned from the top, a blob of butter placed on it, making it greasy looking and probably preventing the look of burned steak, the inside was raw and bleeding.. but she ate half of it and then got diarrhea when we got home... nope!! That's it either fire the chef or I ain't coming back. The appetizers were good, the famous Bam Bam Shrimp used to be served with a finely shredded lettuce now served with broken lettuce. Potstickers were okay too, a side of sauce would've been nice instead of pouring it all over, making it slip and slide all over my plate. Big Sigh! Not worth paying $100/- for that meal. read more

Not only did we have someone rude take our Mother's Day order, we were told it would be 20 minutes and an hour later after standing and being ignored I was given a wrong order, when I said it looked wrong I was told with a heavy attitude (I changed your order) no other explanation, meanwhile another customer was trying to complain about a similar issue. To make matters worse we get home find orders missing and the wagyu burger was almost ice cold inside and completely red (we ordered two of them well done). After getting home and opening this undercooked and very over priced disappointment I called to let them know about the incident I was met with attitude and put on hold for almost 30 minutes. So all in all after about 2 hours and $50 ended up with nothing to eat and a bad taste in our mouths with this restaurant. Just a sign of what this place is turning into. read more
