You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in the quality of the ingredients and preparation. Huge kudos to Chef Frankie for delivering such a phenomenal meal. Everything from the steak to the sides was well executed and beautifully presented. Our server, Aubrey, was fantastic and truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu without ever making us feel rushed. Her service made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. We also have to mention the banana fosters cheesecake for dessert--it was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end the meal. Rich, flavorful, and something we would come back for on its own. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and standout service. Between Chef Frankie's incredible cooking and Aubrey's attentive service, this steakhouse is definitely a place we will return to and highly recommend

Hard to describe this place. It was decorated like an old time speakeasy. There was a pianist doing Billy Joel songs which was quite good. And the patrons here were top notch. Liked the tree they have up all year, the theme for February was Valentines. Frankie is the chef and she is making magic here. Had the short ribs and it came with rosemary and garlic mash and brussels. Can't believe how very delicious this was and it was 5 star quality and worth every penny of it's $36 price. One of the best meals I have had in months. The bananas foster cheese cake is to die for. Actually everything was great. The food, drinks and such friendly service. So in love with Phyre Brewery & Tavern. Crystal and Kristen were our bartenders. Kristen made a smoked old fashion which was awesome. It was a little on the sweet side, but definitely awesome. See the videos. They also have a Clydes old fashioned which is garnished with their phyre bacon. Aubrey and Allie were taking care of the tables, but got to meet them too and they were awesome. There is Karaoke here on Mondays... so definitely have to come back and check that out!

My mom and I are currently sitting at the bar and Boy. Is it busy right now. However, this is the only brewery/bar. I've been to where they keep their additives that they add to the cocktails with the lid on them so no one is breathing or sneezing on them which I absolutely love. The gentleman assisting us was so nice; his name is Nick. He's amazing; very kind and efficient. The ambience of the brewery is like biker gang meet industrial warehouse. Definitely recommend. The flavor of my porter is very light and crisp. It's also very easy to drink. Very, robust flavor you can definitely taste the coffee and the caramel. 10/10

But... seems like every time I come back there are less and less beers. I am worried that they are not going to make it and for craft beer enthusiasts this is the best thing in the area. Especially because anything else close is 20 plus minutes away. With that being said, this would be a great place for groups or to start a low key date. There is craft beer, wine, cider, THC beverages and they even have a few mixed drinks as well as JELLO SHOTS! All the mixed drinks are wine based liquor which is quite progressive. They don't really have food, but there is a Publix in this same mall area, plus about 5 other restaurants including: Chinese, Japanese, sushi, burgers, Thai, pizza and donuts. To give you an idea of how it works, you give them a form of payment, they give you a card and you serve your own draft by the ounce. It is a great concept because you can pour yourself as much or a little as you want. And it tracks your spending so there are no surprises at the end of your visit. In addition, there are TVs, a jukebox and games. Tipping is optional, but there is friendly service and every couter person I have interacted with has been fantastic. I would highly recommend this hidden gem and with more support, especially from the craft beer culture, maybe this place will survive. And to be perfectly transparent, this is mostly because I selfishly want a convenient place to get craft beer on draft. Come visit Tap that Beer House, it is an experience all it's own.

Citrus City Craft was selling some special cocktails outside, and I saw the berry bourbon catching my eye. I had to go with that. Since it was an event, it just came on a plastic cup, making it easy to hold. It was a great fruity drink. I forgot what kind of berry they used, but it was pretty sweet and enjoyable. The bourbon they used was indeed high quality as the booziness lasted almost an hour. Though, thankfully I was still good enough do two rides on the mechanical bull and last for a decent account of time. And what was amazing about the drink was the cost, just 8 bucks! I would have expected to pay at least 10 dollars or more for a great quality drink for a special event, but 8 dollars was quite a steal. While I didn't go inside the restaurant/bar, I just enjoyed the outdoor entertainment at the strip mall, and tried the cocktail. Because of their excellent quality of the drink at the event, I definitely need to visit inside and try their beer selection as well in the future.

This place is a true gem in downtown Winter Garden--vibrant, welcoming, and pouring some of the tastiest brews around. From the moment you walk in, the energy is perfect: lively yet laid-back, with that cool industrial-chic vibe mixed with the buzz of the market. I tried several of their in-house beers, and every single one was outstanding. Bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with passion--whether you're into crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, refreshing hefeweizens, or something seasonal and creative, they've got you covered. The limited editions and specials are especially fun to explore. What really made the visit shine was the friendly and incredibly helpful staff. They knew their beers inside and out, offered great recommendations based on what I like, and were happy to let me sample a few options without any pressure. No pretentious beer-snob vibes here--just genuine enthusiasm and top-notch service that made us feel right at home. Bonus points for the setup: tons of food options right there in the market (perfect for pairing), outdoor seating, and a great atmosphere for hanging out with friends or people-watching in charming downtown Winter Garden. Crooked Can has quickly become one of my favorite craft breweries in the Orlando area. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot delivers on every level. Highly, highly recommend--I'll definitely be back soon to try whatever new batch they're pouring! Pro tip: Grab a flight and explore. You won't regret it.

They also gave me a sample to try, since I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. They offer 8 and 16 ounce versions. I went with the larger one and enjoyed how crisp and refreshingly cold it was. FUN FACT: Dirty Oar Beer Company is one of two breweries located in Historic Cocoa Village. Also,…read moreit is one of nine breweries located on the Space Coast (Brevard County). With quite a small selection spread out across a large county, all the breweries have the opportunity to be unique. But for Dirty Oar Beer Company (which I will shorthand to simply the Dirty Oar), they need to be different from their neighbors, Bugnutty Brewing Company. So did Dirty Oar accomplish the aforementioned "challenge?" Well yes and no depending on what it is you are looking for. Located on the north side of Historic Cocoa Village - which is the south side of King St./US-520, Dirty Oar is a large aquamarine blue building heralding a beautiful mural of birds and an octopus. There is a back entrance where their biergarten is located and a front entrance which i will consider their storefront. Parking is a bit tight, but may be accommodating enough as Dirty Oar is not as rambunctious as their neighbors, Bugnutty, are. My friends, Charles the Grey a.k.a. Roadie X and Patrick joined me today as we enjoyed brews and food in their taproom. The area is kind of small compared to other taprooms, but maybe it is because the biergarten is much bigger for overflow accomodation. There are games for people to play, in which my friends enjoyed a game that was kind of like either/or, and it was fun. Not very intelligent, but whatever. This is where things can be a hit or miss. Maybe it is me, but the flight of "milkshake" beers did not impress me at all. If I am going to drink anything "milkshake flavored", I expect to taste said milkshake flavors. They tasted okay for beers, and maybe that is being more lenient as it was not what I was hoping for. Not bad, but definitely not a "milkshake." Food was delicious, but it comes from a food truck parked next to the biergarten. The grilled cheese was good and packed flavor into something simple, but the Frito pie: exquisite. To be fair, anyone that messes up a Frito pie doesn't deserve to cook anything. Overall, Dirty Oar was a-okay for an initial visit. Will I be back here? Of course, especially if I want a more personal time with friends, family, or a date. But will I go out of my way to go here compared to other breweries, probably not. Still, an a-okay establishment that I suggest visiting at least once. On a sidenote, Dirty Oar is one of the breweries that makes up the Launches & Lagers II Tour in Brevard. It is also a location in the Untappd App.
