The pedicure area was in its own room. I was able to relax on a nice couch, and enjoy a warm and soothing foot soak. There was a sugar scrub, and a time for my feet to relax in some bags for increased moisture. And then your classic pedicure treatment (cuticle care, file, etc.). I asked for an ombré blue design to my toes... which meant every toe was a slightly different shade of blue. My girl had no problem doing that, and it didn't cost extra at all! It's been at least 3 weeks, and the nail polish is still on! The only reason I gave it a 4 star review... for the price, there could have been more services included in the pedicure. Some things to recommend... a paraffin wax, the use of hot stones, a foot mask, etc. Other spas in the area offer a lot more with a pedicure for that price.

I'm really disappointed with my experience here. I paid $25 for a consultation with Paige to…read moreexplain that my hair is very thin and needs to be handled gently. The first time I went, I did one streak of highlight called a flash highlight (over 200$) to test the waters and it turned out great, so I came back expecting the same quality. This time was completely different. Paige double-booked another client and had her assistant handle most of my appointment. The assistant was extremely rough while washing my hair even after I repeatedly asked her to be gentle. She seemed annoyed that I said something and actually handed me the brush and said "do you want to brush it?" I shouldn't have to explain the same thing twice to her assistant when I already paid for a consultation to make sure this wouldn't happen. Paige barely checked in, didn't review my foils before they were rinsed, and my hair came out yellow and orange instead of the cool blonde I asked for. I didn't even get to choose the toner or discuss the results before being told by the assistant to pay. I also asked for thicker highlights and ended up with baby lights that looked uneven in tone. I walked out in tears and paid $265 for results that look like I used a bottle of Sun-In at home. I'm beyond frustrated and will not be going back. Letting an inexperienced assistant take over while charging full price is completely unacceptable.

I just realized I never wrote a review for GoldiLoxx - I had my wedding hair and makeup done here…read morein September 2024, and I also came here in July, for my hair and makeup trial, and in February to check them out beforehand. My hair and makeup person was Melissa, and she was great. In our initial meeting in February 2024, she went over what's included with me, and pricing. She was very welcoming and the salon is a very cute place, as well. In July 2024, I stopped by for my hair and makeup trial; overall I liked Melissa's work, but my face was a little more rouged than I would like, so I told her that and she made the adjustment on Sept. 15 on my wedding day. For my wedding day, myself, my three bridesmaids, and my MIL and SIL all got services done at GoldiLoxx - most of us got hair done, but two of my bridesmaids also got their makeup done. The only reason I'd give GoldiLoxx 4 stars instead of 5 is that my hair didn't hold up for a while - there are a few caveats to that though, being: 1. We took our wedding photos before the ceremony, so it had to last from about 9am or 10am until 4:30pm when the ceremony started and 2. It was a high of 85 degrees that day (unusual, in September! Ironically my husband and I had picked Sept. for its nice and temperate weather ...) so that probably also didn't help. My bridesmaids and a few of my husband's cousins had to help curl my hair again right before the ceremony, because of this. Overall, however, I'd highly recommend GoldiLoxx for any hair/makeup needs, especially for a wedding. Something else I forgot to mention: if you want to rent the place out, on a Saturday for a wedding, there's a $500 fee, but because my wedding was on a Sunday, when they are normally closed, they opened the salon up for me and there was NO charge, which was really nice of them.

I truly feel like I am pampered and spoiled, without a care in the world - and when I leave, I feel like I'm on top of the world! My stylist is incredible, but from what I've seen, each one of them is; they all pay so much attention to detail and truly listen to their clients' wishes. Not to mention, the place is adorably chic and 100% spotless. They have always been neat and tidy, and someone is always cleaning - and since the COVID outbreak, they have followed every single safety protocol. It is one of the only places that didn't cause me anxiety for being out in public and fear of getting sick.
