Wings are great just wish they added more sauce like other Bonchon locations. All aspects of the wing should be covered with sauce.

Bulgogi tacos are the way to go! Be careful the wings can get pretty spicy, pickled radish and cole slaw were both a hit. Loved the japechae, flavorful with nice pieces of beef. Kimchi bacon fried rice was not bad but definitely interested in trying other ingredients next time. Staff are lovely. I've been to a lot of Korean fried chicken places and this one was probably one of my favorites. Flushing queens is flooded with Korean restaurants and Korean fried chicken places but they're either really over priced or just super duper busy. I'd rather go to this Bonchon location in Brooklyn (mostly cause it's close to my job). They weren't that busy (maybe cause they just opened) but service was really fast and waiters were really nice. I know it's a friend chicken place but their bacon kimchi fried rice was soooooooooo gooodddddd xD. I'll definitely come back next time, but maybe with my boyfriend. The design of the restaurant is also very fitting for a date. So if you're trying to go on a first date then I'd recommend this place too. read more

Disappointing. Wanted to like this place as live close by but don't think we'll come back. Ordered wings: meat was dry, crust was too hard, and not enough sauce. Tasted like frozen chicken I would expect from a fast food place that costs 1/10 the price. Bibimbap was equally disappointing. Was extremely bland and almost flavorless. Only dish I liked was fried octopus balls topped with mayo and Bonita flakes, which is pretty hard to mess up but it was good. Atmosphere could be more inviting, was dead empty when we got there but service was fine. Overall, waay overpriced and quality of food was way subpar from what i was expecting. One of the best Korean chicken wing place in NY. Surprisingly, their fried rice and Tteockbboki (spicy rice cake) is good too. But definitely, chicken wings are the best. We ordered half half (Soy garlic and spicy). My favorite is Soy garlic. Tteockbboki is good but spicy, so if you like spicy food, you should try! The staff is kind and friendly as well. read more

I've been to this location twice. The first time I was so excited because they finally opened a BonChon on Brooklyn which means I no longer had to schlep to k-town to satisfy my Korean fried chicken craving. When I went, I was so excited for beer and wings. When we sat down.. we then found out.. they didn't get their alcohol license yet. LIKE WHAT A BUMMER!!!!! but regardless we still got wings. We did the half/half of soy garlic and spicy. The soy garlic was good.. the spicy was a little too much for me. The chicken was crispy and good. We also ordered the japche (glass noodles) and pork belly buns. You can skip both of those.. they weren't good. The second time I went, they finally got their alcohol license.. YAY! We ordered our usual wings, takoyaki (octopus dumplings), tteokbokki (rice cakes with fish cakes). Please skip any sort of food from this franchise... it's just not good. The wings were also super salty which means their food isn't consistent. If you're in the neighborhood and have a craving for wings and beer then go for it.. but this franchise has a lot of work to do. read more

Food was overpriced and overcooked. I ordered boneless chicked - absolutely disgusting and over cooked. It tasted like it was frozen for way to long and just dumped in some oil. Popcorn chicken - way over priced entree which was the size of a appetizer. Also over cooked Chicken and ricecakes (forgot the name of the dish)- they forgot to include the ricecakes once they did it was undercooked. Overall price did not match the quality. Amazing food and lovely staffs. I went for lunch with my coworkers, we have great time there. The food came so fast than we expected. I love the avocado salmon bowl so much as appetizer, very special! The chickens are very crispy and juicy. Went here last week with some coworkers. So excited to see a Bonchon open in Brooklyn in such a convenient location. Fan of Bonchon in Manhattan so I expected the same quality here. We ordered wings, fries and salmon avocado ball. The wings were really really good! I can honestly say they really live up to the Bonchon name. The fries and the avocado ball were really delicious as well. The staff was friendly and our food came out quickly. Definitely worth coming here if you're in the area and even if you're not well worth the trip. Can't wait to come here and try some other things on the menu! read more

Just had a quick dinner here with my honey. Saturday of soft opening was sparse but fully staffed. Starter and KFC arrived quick, in just the right portion for us. Spicy means properly spicy, so a moderate combo portion of wings and drums and little pickled daikon side was satisfying and flavoful without a pool of sauce on the plate. I've been going to Bon Chon for years in the city and I've never had a worse experience than I did at this new location in Brooklyn. We placed a pick up order, and received only half our order. The food was cold and lacked any sauce or distinction in flavoring. Not only this, but when we contacted Bon Chon about our missing food, we received a very rude response and no assurances for a refund. Would 100% never recommend this location to anyone. read more

Maybe it is a fairly new location in the area, but there was only a few customers on a week night. Tried their large boneless chicken and I was not impressed at all. It was too much batter and very little chicken. The only highlight was the waiter coming over to constantly refilling our cups with water and I needed it too because the seasoning was way too salty. The food is really good. The spicy fried chicken was my favorite dish. I would definitely come again with friends.
