Every single employee I have worked with in this store has been head and shoulders above staff at other locations -- whether it's helping me save money, pointing me in the right direction on materials, or just checking in letting me know about ongoing promotions or deals -- the staff at this location (to name a few, Darron, Jill, Jennifer, and Karrie) are always looking out for the customers, which is why this is my go to store and the first people I call when I need assistance. On a separate note, Jennifer in Kitchen Design helped with me an update on my personal kitchen and we could not be any happier with the results and the care she gave to our designs to ensure we were getting everything done the way we wanted it to be. I felt instantly comfortable with her and was ready to book with her 5 minutes into meeting with her. She worked with my budget (at least 20% less expensive than the other florists I met with- she works out of her home). Jenn also met with me to collect my mother's veil to incorporate into my flowers. She ultimately wrapped my bouquet in it, and wrapped my husband's and father's boutineers. in it. Long story short, their was a delay in completing the job. Wrong color of fence arrived, deck finished late in the summer and I decided to wait until spring of 2020. As soon as we were allowed out of quarantine I called Tholens in Kankakee to get a completed estimate and arrange for work to begin. I stopped by to speak with Steve, a gentleman went to get him and 30 minutes later, I am still waiting and no Steve. Even the girl at the counter seemed clueless but didn't offer to remind him I was waiting. I called for an appointment and was told I didn't need one, he was there 6 days a week. So I dropped by as suggested and spoke to his wife, went through the plans and discussed color. Steve was to return my call with the estimate. Didn't hear from him and called the following Monday. Still no estimate (even though the design was complete dimensions and all). I have done similar estimates, just sit down for 30 minutes with a pencil and calculator. I was told they were very busy, I asked should I call the following Monday(week later) and was told yes. I called 3 more times and was pretty much ghosted. I feel like they were trying to humiliate me, because that's how I feel. I don't need to be told yes, I just want the truth. Won't get the missing pieces for another week and I have my new mattress being delivered today that will have to be on the floor in the living-room(had to rearrange the living-room for the new mattress to lay) because again my bedroom has the bed pieces all over until I receive the hardware pieces next week. SECOND ISSUE, the light on the mirror does not work. Tried multiple outlets. Also have to wait a week for replacement. THIRD ISSUE, one of the nightstands had a softball size hole in the back of it! And have to wait a week for replacement. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! THREE ISSUES IN ONE DELIVERY IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!! As a first time buyer at Bobs I am VERY frustrated, disappointed, upset and pissed off. I spoke with multiple customer service reps(one of them named Diego hung up on me). They were "nice" but no urgency for solution. The only solution is to wait a week for new items. I shouldn't have to wait a damn week! WTF!! They should have arrived today with NO issues. This is crap! I've already waited a week and a half for the delivery. They need to start inspecting the items before they go out for delivery. HOW can you deliver half of a bed?
