Sunrise Sandwich
Trisha C.

I came here on the weekend, and it was really delicious. The pastry selection was not extensive, but everything looked really good. I had a tough time making a decision, and I ended up choosing a hot dog jalapeno cheese pastry and an egg and ham pastry. We also got the sunrise sandwich and a matcha strawberry drink. Everything was fairly priced. Plenty of indoor seating. I think the filling of the pastry, and the pastry itself, were really delicious. The matcha drink could use a bit more matcha, but that was more of a personal preference. The sunrise sandwich was absolutely lovely and had very good-quality ingredients. I love the hand decor and small notes they have throughout the bakery shop. I think compared to other bakeries, I like the flavors here more. Plenty of street parking. The staff was nice. I will absolutely come here again to eat most of the stuff again, but also to try other things. Cannot wait to also try their cake! The cake can also be made to order the day before. They cannot write anything on the cake, but if it's a birthday cake, they have a happy birthday stick to provide.

Strawberry matcha cake (sorry for the bad pic!)

So glad this place came up in my search! I was looking for a birthday cake that had matcha in it and stumbled upon this place that had a strawberry matcha cake. I was incredibly impressed by the presentation, and the taste was just as impressive. The cake is nice and fluffy, and the matcha cream/strawberry cream are perfectly light and airy. The individuals working there are incredibly nice. The inside has some seating and feels more spacious than it actually is because of the high ceilings. If I wasn't in a rush to get home then I would have stayed longer to look through their other items. I cannot wait to come back!

Online ordering a cake is a breeze. They only need it ordered a day in advance, which is less time than many bakeries. The cake itself was a good as it looks. I've also had the chocolate version, which was very mildly chocolate flavored. I prefer the vanilla version.

Staff so sweet and kind. We came to get cake for my friend's son for his birthday. Cozy spot to come and chill out w a catch up. The desserts were delicious.. the not too sweet kind! Matcha was strong and delicious. Next time, I would ask for my matcha to be sifted a bit more as there were small chunks of powder in my matcha. Overall, would come back :)

Came here with a friend the other day and the workers there are so nice. They gave us a free cake of our choice. We choose the mango cake as the free cake. We purchased a tiramisu to share and we both got an iced latte. My friend got the cereal cream latte and I got the orange cream latte. They were good and I thought the cakes were delicious they are creamy, soft, and have a not too sweet taste. I also got to buy some pastries to take home. I like them, it's nice to have a new Korean style bakery in the area. For reviews that are saying it's similar to tours Les jours, I believe you mean to say Korean style! Come support a small business. The place is also spacious with lots of seating and a bathroom inside!

Stopped in here for a post dinner sweet treat! The spot is really cute and we walked away with some cakes and macarons. The two cakes we had were light, airy, and not too sweet! We'll definitely be back to sample more baked goods

Small corner cafe with a small menu of good food. They have containers/ things that have sweet and savory pastries. Lots of different cookies and the breakfast options are very good, they use a garlic sauce on most sandwiches and bagels. Small sitting area with tables mostly for 1-2 people. Staff are helpful and friendly, one draws little things on cold drink cups.

I have been wanting to stop in but its never the right timing. Well, today was the day I was in the area after a meeting and decided to grab a few tasty treats. There was a parking spot right in front so I knew it was meant to be! This place reminded me of another bakery spot where you grab the tongs, your tray or to go container and grab your warm savory items, breakfast sandwiches or sweet treats. The also have slices of cake in the cold case that they will grab for you. Order your coffee / tea at the counter where you pay.

So happy this opened up in my neighborhood! Been there two times since they have opened and had a great experience every time. They have a variety of pastries and desserts as well as a yummy drink menu. My favorite so far has been the cereal milk latte and white chocolate matcha, yum! The service is always 10/10 and the inside is cute, warm and inviting!

Bacon egg pastry and lavender matcha

Stumbled upon this cute cafe as I was actually walking to a different one. The ambiance was modern and clean. Inside there's a small case of fresh baked goods where you grab a tray and tongs and help yourself. At the counter was a kind staff who made the most delicious lavender matcha latte. They have free wifi so I bought a pastry and drink and worked for a few hours. The pastry was bacon and eggs and such a flaky pastry when they warmed it up, it melted in my mouth. Parking is not great in this area but I hope their proximity with Beaverton high school they get foot traffic! Definitely worth the stop!

Bon Creme Cake & Coffee is such a wonderful addition to the community. The space feels clean, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff couldn't be kinder--they make you feel genuinely cared for from the moment you walk in. The coffee is fantastic, and the cream orange latte is truly something special. Their cakes and pastries are outstanding as well; we especially loved the tiramisu cake and the mango chiffon slice. Yes, it may remind you of a couple of the larger, corporate bakery chains in town, but the difference in quality, flavor, and value here is unmistakable. And honestly, it feels good to support a local business where your dollars stay in the community and help a real family thrive, rather than disappearing into a distant corporation. If you haven't been yet, give it a try. It's absolutely worth it.

I ordered chocolate cake for my son birthday, the cake is very light, smooth and delicious. Not too sweet as well. Everyone asked where I got it from. The price is reasonable too. We love small businesses and family owned.

This is a charming little spot that I happened to notice when the missus and I were walking in the neighborhood. I actually intended to stop by Breakside, but the cart I wanted to go wasn't open. We turned around and this place is directly across the street. It's super tiny and seating is limited. It'll be awesome when the weather warms up a bit, and then you can duck in real quick and then be on your way. But hey, if you can find a seat, then more power to ya. My wife ordered a matcha latte and they had some orange drink. Not exactly a Valencia that you could get at thebold J&P's, but it was tasty and refreshing. The matcha latte needed to be shaken or stirred. The drinks were beautifully layered however, it's but just that all the flavor was floating at the top of the cup. The staff is very welcoming and our drinks arrived fairly quickly. We'll definitely stop by again the next time we're nearby.

Coffee and cake for Valentines day.

At this point I've tried a number of things here and every one of them were delicious! The Japanese pancakes were so fluffy and fun, called ahead just to make sure they could make them right after opening but couldn't get through. THEY CALLED ME BACK IMMEDIATELY!! I have never had a food place care enough to actually call back if they miss a call. I was so happy with the pancakes too, nicely made and yummy. Their tiny cakes are all perfect too, I'm in love with each one especially the PDX rose! So bright and flavorful, with a beautiful outside that matches its taste! Can't forget the Japanese Cream Cheese Bun, it's soooooo good and the price matches the taste (aka good price for a good dessert). Not too sweet but still delicious! Just gotta make sure you eat it fresh, forgot to eat my last one for an hour and it got dry but still had its yummy taste. I super recommend this place!!

I added breakfast to this place while they visited me for a few days. We called in our order as instructed on the website. Unfortunately no Boba was available for on the pancakes. When we arrived I was disheartened to find the place rather small either intense heat of a bakery, which made the lone table inside with a meandering fly the least bit welcoming. When adding drinks to our order, the lone man working there asked me a few times whether I really was ordering coffee for a child (and yes, she settled on a mocha when it was determined he only knew how to sprinkle matcha powder on the pancakes, and hadn't a clue as to their application to drinks). My grandson ordered their 'special hot chocolate' which pretty much tasted like watered-down Ovaltine. We sat outside to eat and after a few bites and finding these were nothing like the fluffy Japanese pancakes they'd expected, we threw away $44 worth of what was supposed to be a pleasant breakfast experience. I guess this was a life lesson for the kids, that our expectations aren't always met. And I want to prevent any other adults from making the same mistake I did in taking my business there!

Love it when you dine at a new place with a foodie friend you trust who knows what to order. This is one of her parents' go to places when they drive in from Olympia, WA. *Taquitos were crispy potato filled rolls. We chose the mushroom topping which was good!!! *Tamarindo ribs- came glazed with a unique tamarind flavor and a little kick that I have not had anywhere else. *Mini Sopes- we chose 3 different proteins ( which were all good braised beef, citrus pork, and chorizo). The Fish taco which came highly recommended was my least favorite because it had too much mayo in the slaw for me. I had to scrape most of it off. Everything comes garnished with beautiful purple pickled onions that are crunchy and compliment all the dishes. Friend had the non alcoholic Mexican Lime beer and I had the Jamaica (hibiscus) aqua Fresca which had lovely hints of spice. This was certainly much better than the Mexican food I get at home! Tasty drinks, plenty of treats to choose from, friendly service, and inviting indoor and outdoor seating. I was bummed that I had to take my order to go (and therefore didn't capture a great photo), but the drip coffee was STRONG, exactly the way I like it! I also tried both the cannoli and the Dad's Delight. The cannoli had more of a croissant-like texture than I was expecting, which was different but still tasty. Personally, I could've done without the sugar crystals on top, but that's just preference. The absolute STAR of the show, though, was the Dad's Delight! By golly, my mouth is salivating just thinking about it. Super moist, just the right amount of sweetness, and the perfect pistachio nuttiness. YUM! My melon one was pretty good. I didn't think I wanted dessert but once it was in front of me, I couldn't stop eating. The melon was tender and sweet. The ice was light and milky without being heavy. They gave a very generous scoop of anko red bean paste and I loved the nata de coco jellies. The two downsides? Price ($14-15 for a regular size) and service. While we were all eating, an employee came in and started wiping down the tables with a super strong bleach spray.
