Finally visited the store, I love Swedish candy. So many varieties here and they had their collab with moomin which was super cute. Friendly people helping us!

We actually went to BonBon for their hot dog pop up, and they were so good! They're Swedish hot dogs topped with mustard, remoulade, ketchup, fried onions, cucumber pickles, and chives. I don't usually like mustard, but they use a Swedish mustard that's not too strong or overpowering. They're called Lenny's Swedish Hotdogs, and they're at the West Village location for one more Sunday, and then they'll be at the Red Hook location. The person working there told us that they're actually going to be opening a storefront sometime this summer! After our hot dog, we couldn't resist getting some candy. I loved that they let you sample some before buying. The candy is actually so worth the hype. I've never had a sour marshmallow before, and it was so good. Way more chewy than your normal mashmallow. I can't wait to try all the other ones we got. Also, shoutout to all of the workers there, they were so nice!

This was such a fun stop! They offer many different Swedish candies- sweet, sour, fruity, chocolate... everything! The ladies working here were so sweet and even offered samples. You pay by the pound for your candy. The store is so adorable and feels like a child's dream!

Pineapples, Strawberry stripe, and watermelon candy at 11:43pm always hits! They let you try any candy before you buy.. don't go overboard tho. Act like you been outside before. Lol Great staff and service! Enjoy it!

Was thrilled to hear of this location! These candies were going viral all over TikTok so as a candy lover, I decided to come try for myself and now I understand the hype. These candies are so fresh. The Marshmellow candies are like biting into a cloud. The gummies are so soft when you bite down as well. And the flavors are so delicious. Whether it be a sour, fruity or citrus candy, it hardly tasted artificial to me. Was a little disappointed they didn't have the famous Bubs candy but I'll be sure to make my way back in the near future to try them! I suggest this as a gift for your loved one or just a sweet little treat. You deserve it! The staff were as sweet as the candy. They gave little samples to try as we shopped. Definitely opened up my sweet tooth!

Swedish candy is my new obsession and you get to pick your own variety to your liking. I wanted to test out two of the most popular places which is this place and lil sweet treat. As soon as I entered, the workers were actually really friendly and helpful. The one thing that I really love about this place is that they let you sample anything (which was the biggest concern for me on if I wanted to buy something or not). They have a pretty small selection, but they're all specifically candy from Sweden. It seems like less sour options here and more options like marshmallow, chewy texture options , and they also have some chocolate variety as well. some of my top ones are the sour rainbow swirl with cream filled and the banana bubs. I preferred the candy selection over at another Swedish candy place, but the vibes here and the general friendliness was more welcoming at this shop. One downside is at the bag they put it in does not seal making it harder for the candy to stay fresh.

Although this place is already viral I will say that I was surprised it lived up to the hype.

They have all types of gummy style candies with a large varieties sold by the pound. From chocolates, to sweet & sours, candy bars, assorted flavored soft and hard candies. Scoop as much as you want into a bag but be aware that it can get pricey. Everything looks delish and the store is very clean. The staff here is nice and helpful Quality stuff and much better than that which you find in drug stores and supermarkets.

Life has been a little crazy lately. So, I gave in and placed a delivery order from the Upper Eastside store. I chose the Autumn mix because well, it is fall! The packaging was very cute and was a nice presentation. I also thought the thank you note added a lovely touch. Now, let's get down to the candy! One candy that I see in video reviews (not sure other their name, but they look like skulls) where not in my order. That was a bit of a disappointment. I figure once I go in person, I will try them. I had a really nice mix of both sour and sweet candies. I really enjoyed them. I received some of those soft candies and they were good but, not amazing. I am not a fan of black licorice. There were several types in my bag. That was the major negative about not being able to choose the candy myself. The quantity of candy was larger than I expected.. A yummy experience. I look forward to going to the store and choosing an experiencing with the entire selection.

This was a very brief visit, after dinner out,…read moreand based on the very nice service this evening, I want to return very soon, so that I can really enjoy looking around the store. There is a lot to see, and I did not have the time due to my own schedule. The man who helped us was so very nice and kind. I believe he said he is usually at their Brooklyn shop, but he was helping out in this west side of Manhattan shop. He explained about the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION colorful, rainbow, STAR-SHAPED LOLLIPOPS near the cashier pay area. Please SEE MY PHOTOS. IT'S SUGAR has raised more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the people who bought the special lollipops; AND their goal is to raise $2 Million dollars for The Make-a-Wish Foundation. So, if you are near the store, please stop in. Buy a MAKE-A-WISH lollipop. Look around. Enjoy the candy sights you see, and make a purchase. They have Totsie Roll Pops, too!! And so much more, I have to visit again...soon! :) FOR VISITORS TO NYC--you will be near this store if you are in the Columbus Circle area, and the Lincoln Center area. And, it's a nice walk from the theatre district and the Fifth Avenue area, too. NYC is a great WALKING CITY, so, if you are heading out for the day, wear comfortable walking/running shoes, so that you can walk over and visit this shop. And, Thank You to the man from Brooklyn working at the store. Your great customer service made the visit a pleasure!

It's a heat wave and my daughter is at her college orientation. While we wait for her we've been finding creative ways to stay cool. Before heading into the shops at Columbus we headed into its sugar because we're with my 10m old and he likes looking at the lights and bright colors. I picked up a mug called "wake and bake" and asked my husband does it work and how. I then put it down. When exiting an employee in a purple shirt was kind of blocking the door. I thought that was odd but people are weird. She even almost bumped into someone trying to walk in. She then accuses me of stealing the mug. I was confused and said I put it down and continued on my way, but I'm annoyed that a company that I frequented often with my older kids would accuse me of stealing. If you were watching so closely you should have done a better job and watched me place it back down. How outrageously inappropriate it was to try and smile and play with my 10 month old while you were moments away from accusing his mother. As much as my older kids like It's Sugar I'm going to be thinking twice before purchasing anything there ever again. Maybe it's for the best and I should be supporting local businesses. I'm honestly stuck on the fact that they thought a mother pushing her infant child was attempting to steal something so wildly inappropriate.
