I've tried several bagel shops near me, but I finally found the one I truly love--and it's worth the extra drive every time! The portions are generous, especially with the eggs, bacon, and Taylor ham. They always read back my order to make sure it's correct, and they never rush me when I call in. Every person I've spoken to has been incredibly friendly, especially Vinnie. Their cinnamon raisin bagels are amazing, and the sandwiches are hands down the best around. I went in this morning looking to get a plain bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese and was super disappointed. 2 women were there and the one that was by the register was not friendly at all. Got there around 6:30 am, was told the toaster was broken, I asked if the bagels were warm, "nope". Ok well I don't want a cold bagel with cold cream cheese. The gentleman in front of me asked for his roll to be toasted and was not told the toaster was broken. Terrible attitude and how do you not have the ability to toast a bagel at a bagel shop (if it really was broken). There are a lot of really good bagel shops in this area. This is not one of them. The bagels look good, but they are mushy inside. They don't even know how to properly cook an egg. You know, deli 101. We ordered 2 sandwiches. The price was 7.20 each. Expensive for a BEC, but the location was conveniently on our way. So that should come out to 14.40 plus tax. The guy rings it up and says 20.00. Scam artist math. Place must be a front for something else. Can't see how they possibly have people return. Good is subpar. Service is terrible. Guy acted like he was doing us a favor. Never going back and would advise everyone to avoid this place. read more

I have been to place over the years and I am they are pretty ok. There is nothing really amazing about the food that they offer, but there is nothing really wrong with it either. The staff is pretty friendly but can sometimes come off as pushy or impatient. They sometimes rush you when you are trying to decide in what you want to order. read more

Your standard no frills basic bagel/breakfast spot. I swear by Bagels unlimited bagels in Little Falls, but these ones here are pretty decent. They got a good size and density to them, not too dense, and not overly airy or fluffy either. Pretty good french toast and flat bagel. The multi-grains are also pretty tasty. Can't say that I'd get my breakfast sandwiches here, but occasionally I think I might grab Saturday bagels here. read more

Guy at the counter had no idea what I was taking about (it was listed on a giant board right outside), but luckily the kitchen guy chimed in and knew what it was. It was delicious, so fast forward to about a month later I stop in for my second time to order the same thing. Most recent visit, front counter guy still doesn't know what I'm talking about when I order the melt, so he checks what it says on the board outside. Waited about 20 minutes for my melt and a sub for the hubby, got home and my order was completely wrong. It was supposed to be mozzarella, spinach, feta, and roasted red peppers on a bagel, I received egg whites and spinach with American cheese. Seriously!?! As always I like to include as much as possible in the review. So to start parking... they have parking but it is limited. For me I stopped by in a 18 wheeler so I had to park on the shoulder of the highway. Now on to the service.. it was ok. I walked in and was quickly asked what I wanted. Ok now the food... HORRIBLE !! ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel with salt pepper ketchup. What I got literally 3 minutes later was the worst. At the moment I wasn't thinking because again I had to park on the shoulder of the highway but it's SUPER obvious that the egg and bacon had been sitting under a dimly lit hot lamp. Stopped in the other day to pick up lunch. I ordered a grilled chicken Cesar wrap. It was the greasiest most horrible wrap I have ever had. Not much in terms of flair and eclecticism, but some decent grubbery. I ordered a Meat Lover's Omelette, which comes w/ hash browns & toast. Now, bear in mind that I did order delivery, which might already knock off some of the heat factor in your food, though they try to get it to you fast and hot. The omelette was decent. Not as fluffy as I may have liked, but good flavor and fresh. I may be a tad hasty on their bacon content (or lack there of), but calling something a "MEAT LOVER's" ANYTHING comes with great responsiblity. A few more pieces in there would have been fitting. But it was tasty nonetheless. The hash browns, however? Good on flavor, but abundant on grease. Could stand to be blotted or dabbed a bit (please don't do the dance after reading that last part). Not to mention it probably tastes better when eaten on the spot in their restaurant. However, the great part was the flounder sandwich. REALLY GOOD! I was impressed w/ the amount of flounder on the sandwich (2-3 slices) for what you pay for the sandwich. It wasn't like one measly piece o' fish, drowned in lettuce & tomato (a.k.a. Crunchy Water & Red Rings of Death). Nah, son. It was legit. It retained the most heat after delivery, and was sooooo delicious. The fries were okay, as well. I'm normally a soggy guy (take that how you wanna). I love my fries mostly soggy and soft, w/ a light crisp. Again, the delivery factor could have contributed to this, but they were a little soggier than normal. However, the texture was good on the spuds, regardless. *2.5 Stars* I have a go-to bagel shop when I am in this area. As a matter of fact I go out of my way to go to it. This place is not it. My car somehow veered off the side of Rt 46 and made me stop at this place...ok actually my stomach made me do it. It was mid morning and not a soul inside. Bagels looked decent from the outside of the glass. But would they stand the test? Nope. Average at best but since it is located in an area that I find to have the best bagels, it doesn't match up. I like my bagels cooked on the outside and somewhat doughy on the inside but not too doughy. The bagel was big but once I bit into it, it was like biting into a crispy balloon...it deflated as I completed my bite. Strange, never encountered that. The olive cc was meh. It's a small place with a lot of parking on the outside. Do you ever feel like you should never cheat on your usual spot? This was one of those times. read more

This is the first time we've stopped at Bon Appetite Bagels. Service was quick, and prices are reasonable, but sadly, the bagels (we bought several varities) were disappointing. They look OK at first glance, but one bite tells you that they aren't the traditional water bagels that we know and love. The texture was similar to a Kaiser roll or Italian bread, lacking the dense, chewy texture and taste of a boiled-then-baked bagel. Except for the great toppings, the bagels were tasteless. But they did look good. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... As a deli, we would give them a passing grade, but as a bagel place, no way. read more

I think this place really tries to offer a nice selection of quality food choices at fair prices. I love all of there specials for lunch and breakfast 4.99 and 5.99. They have awesome salads, You don't see all of the ingredients but the girls are so helpful and willing to please. 5.99 for unlimited veggies in salad and $2 more if you want a choice of meat. I love their fruit cups they make fresh. I am picky coffee drinker, they have good coffee and they have an espresso machine. I have had their omelettes which are on average $6 with toast and home fries and they rock. They have all these sandwich choices to choose from to put on a wrap, panini, bagel, Roll or bread. They even serve sweet potatoes as a healthy alternative to French fries. These guys work hard and try to please. I go here a lot on my way to work and the environment is cozy and familiar. They have really nice speciality bagels. And on days when I feel like indulging I pick up one of their fresh baked muffins or scones. I love theirs spinach pies and other quick picks. Even when they are busy, they are always pleasant and helpful. The reviews I read above just don't seem to fit, I have been coming here for about 1 year now; about 2- 3 times a week. They work hard and always are so welcoming. I really like this place and so does my family. And we are not the type of people to accept just anything, there are some places I will never go back too. I was looking for somewhere with coffee and wifi so I decided to stop at Bon Appetite. It's easy to say that I am very pleased with the service I recieved and the quality of the food. The people behind the counter were welcoming, professional, and kept me entertained the entire time I was there- they were exceptional, actually. I ended up spending a few hours here after my bagel (hanging out and taking advantage of the wifi) and all of the employees were accomidating and genuine- including Sam, who I assume is the owner/manager. This used to be my go-to lunch spot due to close proximity to my work and their delicious sandwich selection. That all changed after I ordered a salad. It was $7.99, took 20 minutes to make, and arrived with a quarter of a bag of shredded lettuce and old hard chicken from the display case that they barely heated up in the microwave, that's all, no toppings, not a tomato or cucumber in sight! She asked me if I wanted dressing and offered me balsamic vinaigrette as one of the selections, I chose that and she handed me balsamic vinegar with a splash of oil. I see other reviewers had complaints about bagels, I can't speak on that since I've never had one but they always look old and dry like they've been sitting out all day in the display case. I'm really disappointed since I've had some great sandwiches here, but almost $8 for lettuce and old chicken with improvised dressing and no toppings? That turned me off right away. I'm not expecting a gourmet meal here but geez take a little pride in what you're making/serving.
