I rented an apartment in Barcelona's Poble Sec for the 2014 Mobile World Congress, and stumbled upon this delightful neighbourhood restaurant. For flavoursome food at great value for money, I doubt whether there is anything better in the whole of Barcelona. Husband and wife team, Hai and Pei from Shanghai provide a warm and hospitable welcome, and their four-course special menu of primarily Japanese dishes for under €12.00 could not faulted. I started with spring rolls which were freshly prepared and delicious. The fried noodles with prawns that followed were really tasty, but possibly a little too greasy. My mixed sushi was full of flavour, and while possibly not up to the standard of the best Japanese restaurants in town, was fantastic value. My final course was a wonderful succulent fish teriaki/yakitori.
I left feeling well fed and well looked after, and resolved to write e review as soon as I got back to the apartment. Thoroughly recommended! read more
