I wqs looking to good ramen and everywhere we went was closing then I stumbled across Takumi not remembering the name and I did walk by then other day telling my teammates how good they were. Then we got lost and needed up at Takumi and I said don't worry friends this place is really good. The service is great, I do recall familiar faces and they were friendly. I mentioned I was here last year and came back to try. I ordered the Terriyaki Miso Ramen and won't was better than I remembered. I ate all of it and the soup as well it was that good. If you want good ramen then stop by Takumi.

Loved the food here. The service at first was confusing because no one talked go us but I think they were just a little short staffed and then we were attended to pretty promptly. We both had ramen and some chicken based apps. Didn't expect such amazing ramen in Spain but it was great!

Best ramen I've had in a long time!!! The broth was so rich and flavorful the noodles were PERFECT, chewy but not rubbery Miso broth was the best I've ever had the flavors blended perfect and my tempura shrimp wasn't over cooked and you could taste the freshness In the shrimp! Spicy chicken wasn't too spicy it was perfect balance, it was missing some soy sauce but after adding it the flavor was perfect! Not a fan of the chicken meatball but everything else was great! The gyozas were amazing we preferred the chicken over the vegetable but it was good overall!

I'm shocked at all of the raving reviews here and on Google. It doesn't bother me that it's not authentic (fusion is great), however what was lacking were all the individual components -- they were not done well at all. The shoyu broth was bland (tasted like regular chicken broth with a bunch of soy sauce), ramen egg was way too salty, and wontons were very sad and flattened, not much filling at all. The restaurant itself felt kitschy and a little offensive (dramatic random "Asian" iconography). Would not recommend.

This restaurant was amazing. The decor was nice and the neon lights added a great ambiance. The service was fast and good. The ramen here was some of the best ramen i've ever had. I have the miso tonkatsu ramen with pork katsu. The broth was really flavorful and the pork was super crispy and juicy. The noodles were also really good and had a bite to them. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this spot! Definitely a must if you're in the area.

The decor here reminded me of an action anime! The servers speak English and they have English menus. The chicken Karaage tasted like it had more of a beer batter crust than a crazy crispy Panko. But it tasted good. The hot sake came out too hot to handle for quite some time--I was duly warned by the server for good reason. The ramen had firm noodles and a surprisingly flavorful miso-black garlic broth. The thin slices of pork was tasty. Not the best I've had but a satisfying bowl nonetheless.

Before I die, I'd like to have a bowl of Takumi chicken ramen. We've been a fan of Takumi after discovering this chain in Amsterdam. We went out of our way to also seek out Takumi in Milan. Coming from LA where ramen shops are a dime a dozen, I've had my fair share of ramen. I would gladly invest my life's savings if they wanted to open a shop in LA. Their broth is on par with Kagari, the Michelin chicken ramen, in Ginza, Tokyo. The perfectly crisp chicken skin and sausage skewers nicely contrast with the silky, rich broth. Curly noodles were consistently cooked al dente. My dad doesn't typically like ramen but he asked to come here for lunch everyday so we ended up eating here 5 times during our Barcelona trip. The staff didn't even need to give us a menu as we became regulars. On the last day, my mom got tired of eating ramen so she opted for curry katsu and that was well executed, too.

Walked in here and we were seated quickly. Staff seemed busy but were attentive and friendly. The place was busy and seems popular among the locals. There was ample seating but not much floor space. The Japanese decor was refreshing and seemed to have been put together with great care. We ordered the black garlic ramen, chicken gyoza, and the miso vegetarian ramen. The black garlic ramen had a rich broth, lots of pork, and ample toppings. I've eaten a lot of ramen and this was comparable to some of my favorite ramen places. The vegetarian ramen had really flavorful, marinated tofu and a rich broth, as well. There were lots of vegetables included. Great standard veggie ramen. The chicken gyoza was pan fried on the outside and had a nice golden crust. Very satisfying and a good appetizer before a piping hot bowl of ramen. Food came out pretty quickly, as well. You can sit indoors or outdoors, though I recommend indoors because the soup can get you pretty sweaty in the sun!

It's a tiny local, and they have many ramen options. I highly recommend the one that comes with shrimp tempura (picture attached). It's small but cozy, an decoration is on point! Perfecto for fun pictures for Instagram and a tasty dinner. Spicy plates are perfectly seasoned, not overly spicy. It's a more place to gather with friends, more than dates or romantic scapes

Great food and ambient inside. We were seated in the second level with great view below and to the outside to the street in Barcelona. Customer service was great. We really enjoyed the food.

This is a great late night ramen joint in the intersection of placa tetuan and passeig san joan.. The ramen was good. Thin chewy noodles and a hearty broth. I ordered the dan dan which has a bit of miso and picante spice. It was topped with some ground pork, bok choy, scallions and a piece of nori. I would definitely order it again. Oh, and don't forget the side of kimchi. It was nicely fermented and spicy. No complaints and the Korean in me was grateful to see it on the menu.. We also got the chicken tonkatusu curry. It was basically rice topped with chicken and a plain curry sauce to the side. It looked boring and tasted kind of bland. I wouldn't order this again. There are a few table outside so bring Fido. They have Japanese cervesa. YUM! Open late and friendly service and decent prices!

really great ramen spot would highly recommend! my family got the teriyaki miso ramen, spicy teriyaki ramen, and the pork ramen and all of them were delicious. we also got one bottle of hot sake and it was some of the best sake i've had. the setting has fun decorations and they actually have two locations across the street from each other (presumably because it's so popular)

I arrived for a late lunch (according to American standards, of course, as it was probably perfect timing for the rest of the Spaniards in the restaurant) and was quickly seated. I had gotten my filling of tapas during my stay in Barcelona and needed a bit of palate cleanser with a hearty, flavorful bao filled with meat -- a bit like an Asian taco, if you will. I stood firm in my order despite it feeling like heresy as "ramen" is in the name of the restaurant and a quick look around me revealed that most of the tables were definitely enjoying their ramen. Still, with things like pad thai and kimchi on the menu, I felt like I had permission to indulge in my cravings. I dug into a starter of some chicken karaage (Japanese fried chicken) that came with some homemade teriyaki sauce on the side. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the teriyaki sauce complemented its flavor instead of being too overwhelming. But the order did seem a bit on the pricier side at €7.50, which is basically the same price as one of the baos, so I think I would've ordered an extra one instead. As for the baos, I got three: the pork, the chicken, and the shrimp. They all tasted very similar to each other -- the pickled cucumber and carrot on the pork and the sauces on the shrimp did most of the heavy lifting, so I barely tasted the difference in meat. There are other places that ofter this bao delicacy in Barcelona (my reco would be Boa Bao) so come to Koku Kitchen for the ramen and gyoza instead. I did appreciate the decor of the place, especially the flower placed in a brown apothecary-esque bottle and the dim, hip vibes of the bathroom.

Well I was curious to see how good or bad ramen place would be in Spain. Well curiosity killed the cat and my wallet for wasting my money . Restaurant was packed. I thought we would wait but was asked to follow one of the staff. Went downstairs and saw another dining room which was cool. Also packed with people so I was little excited to taste the food. Ordered angry chicken bao.. Don't know why it was angry because it wasn't spicy at all. Took a bite and was trying to figure out what the sauce was.. Little taste of peanut. Bao was alright but not worth the money for how much it cost for one. Then got the pork gyoza. Not bad, not much flavor but wasn't horrible. Then the main dish I ordered spicy miso ramen and pad Thai.. Why I ordered pad Thai at Japanese restaurant in Spain? I have no idea. Presentation of ramen was good. Tasted the broth and I was confused because it tasted sweet and lacked in miso flavor and no spice what so ever. Ramen was cooked little al dente. Employee was nice enough to offer chilli.. So added about 4 spoonful and tasted little better. Over all the ramen was pure disappointment, probably the worst ramen I ate at a restaurant. Then the pad Thai.. Tiny little bowl only with shrimp cut in half on top. I thought I was disappointed with ramen but man... This dish was utter failure.. No way anything near pad Thai flavor. It tasted like egg fried noodle with shrimp on top. It lacked in so much flavor. So dinner was pretty sad.. I could not recommend this place to anyone.. And holy smoke 5.50 for side of kimchee.. What the heck.. Can't wait to tell my mom how much they were charging for side of kimchee...
