WARNING!!I couldn't wait to get back to give this review. One of the worst establishments I have ever dined at. I perceived that a waitress was showing racial bias against myself and was told to leave. Also several of the waitresses show some element of bias in " my opinion towards the black customers" (This seems to be a theme on this side of town) Inexperienced managers, rude bartenders, and the food is below subpar. I would not trust eating anything here personally. Also "G***" is the worst bartender in that place and do not trust anything she or any bartender suggest on the menu. Stay away. I would personally no trust them to handle anything besides Drinks no food!! BEWARE!! read more

I had been to their location in Houston and had a good experience so I wanted to try the one close to home. Bad mistake. We went here to watch the Brahmas football game with many of our friends and the first thing we noticed was how hot it was inside. We asked about it and the waitress said it had been like that for a week. Not off to a good start. My wife and I both ordered hamburgers, she wanted well done and I wanted medium. When the came out, hers was more like medium rare and mine was rare. The cook obviously needs trained on how to properly prepare burgers. We ended up leaving before the end of the game because our 6 month old was getting fussy from the heat. Probably will not make the 45 min drive again. read more

Thumbs up for whoever thought of that! Place is really nice and don't even THINK about saying you can't see the tv... too many to count.. Inside and outside... very and I do mean VERY comfy seating with a bar that reaches outside. This tells me whoever the owners are they put A LOT of thought into putting this place together. Love it!! The waitresses there are adorable!!!! You see a little skin BUT we are all adults!! Greeting by at least 6 ladies and that was cute!! Who doesn't LOVE to see a smiling face.. I DO!!! Makes me feel at home. We ordered pork nachos which were DELICIOUS ... great to take home if you want for a movie night! Plus they have a secret sauce that goes on the pork that was Delicioso so it's DEFINITELY a must try!! Then I ordered the shrimp and chicken which is called Renegade pasta. They give you more than enough meat and the grilled chicken is really flavorful. Might need a little more sauce BUT it was delicious. Then I ordered a pizza and picked chicken.. garlic... peppers...onions. Now excuse me because I come from New York so I won't compare it to that type of pizza and this was good BUT I think I would have appreciated it more if they hand tossed the crust. I am not a fan to that paper thin crust BUT again it was ok so I'm not complaining. The music they have circulating in there is really effect for this place. You definitely get to swaying back and forth and a toe tap or two. The ONLY reason they didn't make it to the 5 star list is only because they waitress forgot to ask me about the dressing for my salad and this I had to use my own dressing which thankfully I had. First timer here and the establishment did not disappoint. Waited a while to get a waitress appointed, but after that we were good to go. Got chips and queso for an appetizer and it was well served and really good. I had the Carmen Miranda and it was really good as well. Would highly recommend. Service SUCKS!! The girls prance around like they are too good to work. Bad attitudes... we had to ask for updates on our food order and when it was finally received, it was horrible. They got the order wrong the first time and delivered cold fries. When we said the order wrong was they sent it back and brought it out wrong again. Nothing special about this place. For the most part it is a well ran establishment. You have your typical bar foods and staff uniforms like cheerleaders. Looked clean and some friendly smiles. The reason fir the 2 stars was the lack of customer service at the bar. They had 4 girls working but one stood talking to two guys the entire time I was there. One was making all the other service drinks. So that left 2 to tend to the rest of the bar. Now I you think ok they were busy. Yes but busy enough to ask the person beside you if everything was ok and then ignore you. I would just button down the CS and you should be get more stars.. just not from me. I'll stick to Ojos locos or twin peaks were that bar burger is better. read more

The pros: The themed decor (World War II era items) was interesting. I enjoyed my entree and one of my sides as well as the chips and salsa. The interior was also much nicer looking than I expected. The cons: The fried appetizers/sides were mediocre. The cheese in the cheese sticks was not melted at all. The restaurant did not feel well laid out as the bus boy was barely able to squeeze his cart past our table with my seat pushed in as far as it could with me in it. The four-person tables just barely fit all of our four-person party's entrees and drinks. There were long delays to get our food order taken and then to receive our entrees but I partially attribute this to it being a Friday night and Veterans Day. read more

Well so far ive been here since 432, and its 610 . And still me and my family haven't received our food. We did have to wait for 25 minutes to get a table. This is my 2nd time here and i would definitely recommend, the environment is very upbeat during the night, I've had Alexis O. As my server and she gives amazing service i would definitely come back! She was very attentive to our need ask for refills when we were half way done with our drinks. She pre bussed our table so we didn't have empty plates as we talk amongst ourselves. I am in town for a conference and I was recommended Bombshells. Food was good, we ordered wings, WMDs, Bombpoppers and pizzas. Everything tasted good. I was shocked to read the reviews because we were well served and especially for a large party and it being a Monday Night Football. Sky the host was very polite, Jada our server was on top of it, never had to ask for a refill, and the beers kept coming too. I even had the opportunity to speak to the manager Haley. This girl is also solid. She has her stuff together and is working hard to improve things. I would hire her to manage. I recommend this place, give it a chance, I enjoyed myself, it's better the the 2 stars it currently showing. read more

The service was absolutely terrible, I waited 30 minutes to get a server with drinks, another 30 minutes to actually get my order taken and then another 30 minutes to finally get an update on my food and by the time I got my food I didn't even have an apatite anymore. We visited here a week after they Opened and it was a little bit difficult food not being ready servers not being trained, etc. We decided to give them a couple of months and see if anything got better fast forward three months, unfortunately nothing has really gotten any better. I feel like the servers don't realize they're in the service industry. We waited way too long for a inadequate meal refills on our drinks and to pay our tab. All that being said the manager did give us a 20% discount because of the delay that is why I decided to give them a three star because I felt like they at least tried to make it right read more

First time in and I'd hoped for a better draft selection. I would have loved a few more IPA's. The starter we tried were the egg rolls, more of a southwest type. They were tasty, nice and hot. I ordered a Green Beret, a burger with blue cheese jalapeños and bacon. This was a made to order patty and very filling. I did onion rings instead of fries. My husband also tried a burger that had a fried egg and chili on it. He ate it all, so I'd say he liked it. Our server Alexis Marie was perfect. Awful! For a chain experience if I get hosed ONE time; I am a one and done type patron. No second chances. The hubs ordered our dinner in person and to go. He ordered the chicken fried steak with the gravy on the side, loaded mashed potatoes and a salad. My meal was the pork chops with a side of sautéed mushrooms and mac and cheese. Upon opening the bag at home (and mind you this location is a schlepp to our home; he just so happened to be at his Mom's assisted living off of 410 and 151) he discovered that his meal was wrong AND missing both the gravy and the potatoes. Instead of chicken fried steak he received chicken fried chicken. My chops were meh. The mushrooms awful with no seasoning and the mac and cheese was congealed as if it has been prepared hours earlier and sat under a heat lamp. Called the restaurant to speak to the manager. First gal who answered placed me on hold for nearly 5 minutes. I hung up and called back and finally got the GM and HE put me on hold for over 15 mins. The THEY hung up on me. Called back a third time. Took him FOREVER to find our check with the last four of the credit card and the meal was ordered at 5:23 pm. This review going in at just after 7:00 pm. He said he'd credit the card the amount for the meal. Would take 2-3 business days. Apologized. Overall horrible dining experience. Would NOT return and would be hesitant to try another location based on this experience alone. Two thumbs down. read more

I decided to bypass the reviews to see if Bombshells was a cool new location in San Antonio. The two stars are for the service which was decent. The servers were attentive and friendly which was different than a lot of reviews. The food was the problem. We started with the loaded fries. I have never tasted something so salty. Particularly the cheese was loaded with salt. I couldn't eat more than a few bites. I then got a sausage pizza for my main dish. The crust was decent. When asked to have a side of marinara, they said that doesn't exist and they just have pasta sauce which made me wonder what is used as sauce on the pizza. To compare, the pizza was similar to that of elementary school cafeteria pizza. Limited flavor from the sauce or cheese. I decided to get dessert which was the Apple Betty or a name similar. Whatever the baked part tasted stale and weirdly chewy. None of the food was seemed fresh, in particular, the pizza. The environment had lots of TVs with sports and some music when not drown out by sporting events. I would return for drinks with friends but the food is a pass. read more

I went to this place for the first time yesterday. I will NEVER go back! The service was HORRIBLE! I met some good friend who were visiting from Denver, for Happy Hour. We arrived around 4:45p and were quickly seated since the massive restaurant was practically empty. I ordered a Pacifico, my friend ordered a margarita on the rocks and her husband a Shiner (the waitress informed him they were out of Shiner. So he ordered a Blue Moon again they were out. So he settled for a Ziegen Bock. It took 20 mins for the drinks to be served. BU then our server informed us that there as a shift change and was getting off so we closed our tab and after 15 mins another server came over to introduce herself. BU then we had been joined by four more friends. They ordered their drinks and we ordered another beer and margarita. I decided to order an Old Fashion again it took over 20 mins to receive our drinks. My Old Fashion was the worse drink I ever had I practically spit it out. Then my friend went over to the young manager on duty to explain our bad service. After a few minutes she came over to the table to explain (make excuses) that it was the bartender's first time working alone and she didn't know how to make my drink and apparently a margarita since my friend had ordered it on the rocks and received a pre-made frozen one. The food order was even worse with several mistakes to each thing ordered. I this point we just decided to finish our meal and leave. Next time it will be my first choice, Twin Peaks which is just across the highway. The photo shows that the place is as practically empty. read more
