My husband and I went by to play some darts. It was pretty empty when we arrived. We headed directly to the back. A few minutes later the bartender came to ask if we had a drink menu and also to let us know that they didn't have any waitresses on staff, so we would have to go to the bar if we wanted to order. I told her that we had a menu at our table and thanked her for letting us know, also that we would go up to order in a little while when we were ready. A short while later after looking at the menu, my husband went to get us a couple of drinks. I had a Michelada with Modelo, and he ordered a Cabana Crush. The Michelada was very good, and loaded with olives (which I loved!) So far, it's the best Michelada I've had. The only thing that was a bit disappointing about this visit, was that the kitchen wasn't open. I was looking forward to trying out the appetizers. We arrived at 3:45p.m and left at 5:48p.m.The place always looks super packed, but we went at a good time. There were only about 4-5 people there. I am in shock. What a gem. We drove all the way across town and randomly came here and I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Without a doubt the bar staff is probably the best I have ever seen - in ANY city. I am stunned with how great they are. Quick service, solid drink making, and super nice. The prices are what I would expect which are really good. Our bartender comes and checks on us in a timely manner and brings us drinks and so do other bartenders. It's like one big team that takes care of the customer. The atmosphere is great, especially if you want to watch sports. They have so many TV's and they are showing so many different games. This is a Raiders (NFL) bar and is filled with fans and they are super nice and respectful to everyone - even the people rooting for other teams. People talk to strangers like family. It's an eclectic mix of ages and people. This is the best place I've seen to watch sports. You can see all the games and more. The place is pretty big but I can definitely see it getting crowded when it's busy. They also have a cool patio but it's raining so we didn't check it out, but it looks great. All the furniture is pretty comfortable and they have a small fireplace which adds to the overall coziness. We planned to stop in for a drink and haven't left after sitting here for quite some time. It's just such a relaxing environment. My only complaint is that this bar isn't closer to me so I could come here regularly. read more

I had never been here before and to be honest, before we went I wasn't expecting much. I was really wrong! This place was so much fun, there is a good variety of people, it didn't feel like I was going to get shot or stabbed like most of the bars in San Antonio. The music was great, I am not one to dance much but we were on the dance floor all night. There's a really nice patio outside to chill and talk with friends if you want a break from the loud music. There's also pool tables and tvs, I mean seriously there was something for everyone in our group of friends! This is a really good place to go if some people in the group want to go somewhere chill, and some people want to go out dancing because you can do both of these things here. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they ran out of Dos Equis bottles while we were there, doesn't bother me much but that is my friend's drink of choice. I am really happy to have visited this place, I think my friends and I have definitely found our go-to spot when we don't feel like putting on our high heels and fancy dresses and heading out downtown. We are visiting from out of town and they treated us very rudely because my husband had his necklace on. The security/bouncer acts like this is a real job probably only don't even have the education to get a real job. Stay away from this place. It's almost as if they target people. OK, so my friends and I've gone to this establishment at least a dozen times for happy hour. They posted a sign on the door outlining the dress code. We appreciated that. No one wants to hang out with riff raff. Doesn't really seem to be any notable specials during that period. I truly enjoy the location and the aesthetics BUT I'm neither thoroughly impressed by the bar staff nor the wait staff. Decided to get some drinks after work on a weekend here with some coworkers, since the location is located close to our job. Primarily, of course when you arrive they have a sign (dress code) that specifies that certain clothing is not allowed to be worn, for example, gym clothes, which is understandable. My coworkers and I were in our scrubs, interestingly we were allowed to enter. Upon entering, the bar was not very crowded, so when we arrived to the bar to order our drinks, it took forever for us to get the attention of a waiter or one of the bartenders and we were a large group. After repeatedly attempting to get the attention of a bartender, numerous of us tried and finally successfully after repeatedly calling them we were able to get our drinks.We were ignored several times, we than sat in the booth. The prices for the beverages are reasonable, not too expensive and they have somewhat of a variety for beverages, with spicy martini's which was one of my favorite alcoholic drinks. In addition, they have a small menu with decent appetizers. As for the interior, the place is nice, with large TV's for individuals who enjoy watching sports, and they had a separate section for pool and several tables and booths. Aside from the horrible customer service we received, the location is nice, we went on a Saturday evening and to my surprise it was not packed, but even though it was not packed, we were not acknowledged from a waitress or bartender. read more

I thought this place was great the first time. It's seems like a great place to watch a game, it's even labeled as a sports bar. But try walking in wearing your teams jersey and these idiots will kick you out. What kind of sports bar doesn't allow sports jerseys or a backwards hat? What a miserable experience. The security/bouncer must think he is a real cop. He asked somebody to tuck in a rope necklace. When the individual asked why. He explained because of gangs. The individual tucked it in and walked off. The bouncer said he needed to calm down and he was acting hostile. The individual did nothing but ask a question and comply. Nice bar to watch the game during the week, as long as they have enough waitresses on staff. Overall it's pretty average. On the weekends there's usually a line to get in which is not my scene. I originally came here in May of 2014. It was very relax mix crowd. I recently went this past Saturday. Horrible service everyone was so rude. We rented the top patio section. To find out all our guests had to wait in line and pay like everyone else. With the price you pay for renting that and buying bottles you'd think your friends wouldn't have to wait.
