Well, the few items they actually had (food and drink) took forever to come to the table. We ordered a few beers each and waited no shorter than 20 minutes for each one. Our waitress was either brand new (which I don't mind, everybody has to learn) or she was dumb. Either way, she made no attempt to be attentive or find alternatives for the many items we requested that were out of stock. I even had to ask, 30 mins after ordering something, where it was only to be told they didn't have it. I've been to 3 different bombshells and they all sucked. Great theme, very good idea, poor execution. Need managers that are worth a shit. read more

Today, December 26, 2020, the manager of Bombshells on Highway 249 in Tomball called the Sheriff's Department to demand U.S.citizens, who were exercising their 1st Amendment rights, to vacate their parking lot. This group of close to a dozen vehicles had prearranged with the restaurant to have a large group dine at their location. Before entering the restaurant, our group showed our patriotism and support of the President of the U.S. States and all Law Enforcement officers by waving flags on the grassy easement adjacent to the restaurant's parking lot. Our vehicles were occupying less than 10 spaces of their very large, nearly empty parking lot since many of our vehicles parked on a grassy area not owned by the establishment. It is the management's right to deny service to patrons, even by this grossly unnecessary method, but it is also my right to share my displeasure with their actions. Please remember this restaurant discriminates against patriotic citizens simply because they disagree with their views. The restaurant lost the patronage of at least 30-40 people and, hopefully, many future patrons. Before patronizing this restaurant, keep in mind that they discriminate against patriotic citizens exercising their 1st Amendment rights on a small grassy area with their vehicles parked in their lot AFTER prearranging for our large group's attendance. read more

Went on Sunday around 4:15, were seated right away, waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged by any waitress. Then when one came up she said it was a shift change and basically would only be taking our drink order then someone else would take our cook order. We order 2 beers then watched as she went to the bar and started talking to a couple sitting at the bar, Another 8-9 minutes, she is, still talking, no beer for us......We left! ***UPDATE*** In response to Macy J. of Bombshells Restaurant & Bar If your policy for PPV events were truly stated in your common areas, half of this issue would not have happened. The sign at the door stated "$10 after 8:00 pm". My son, a minor, was harassed by the manager. He yelled at my son to pay the $10 at around 10:30 to 11:00 pm; minutes after the boxing match was over. Your management should have explained your policy from the beginning in lieu of harassing us for $10. Our waitress also got yelled at in front of us for not charging us the cover charge. She wasn't even aware of that policy either and she works there. The cover charge is NOT the problem. The cover charge should in no way, shape, or form be construed as racist. The racist comment was regarding part of your staff. To elaborate, the young lady selling arm bands needs to treat everyone the same not just the customers of the same race as her own. This was witnessed by several would-be customers that I personally talked to who walked away at the door due to her lack of professionalism and racist demeanor. Also, you might want to rethink on keeping that biased security guard. His role there should be to secure; not instigate conflict. Kudos to the professionalism of the Harris County Constables that were there though. read more

Worst experience at this location. Our waitress only checked on us a total of 3 times. She forgot half our drinks, we proceeded to order from the bar and then even then the bar denied us drinks and told us to order from our waitress who never came to our table. Let me start on how professional the staff was! Our waitress was as sweet as they come I wish I could remember her name! I had the Sargent slaughter burger , I instantly fell in love with this Burger. Took my wife and brother and they enjoyed their food as well! Great beer and great food what else can u ask for? Young lady came our table and put two menus right on top of spilled water on the dirty table, I politely asked her to clean the table , she looked at me as if I should be lucky she was there, she never came back, after watching her take customers that came long after us it was clear. We made another visit last Saturday about 10 pm, we we gave the hostess our name and she told us to wait to be seated we walked toward several open tables that were marked for social distancing, as we stood we paused to determine if we would wait, just then a tall white manager walked up to us and told us the kitchen had a TWO hour wait time! We looked around and saw that nearly all tables had food on it already, there were NO people waiting for seats. I looked at him in disbelief but told him fine we'll wait. He seemed disappointed. We saw two open seats at the outside bar we sat there, immediately a hispanic female bar tender asked for our drink order, then handed us menus, we ordered food sipped our drinks and our food came in about 20 minutes! Don't Pass This One Up We recently had lunch at the Bombshells @ 249, which is just up the street from the me. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with plenty of indoor seating, but also has a large outdoor patio. Our waitress Michaela is our regular, she's always friendly and attentive and the food and beer selections are delicious and above our expectations. The Revolver being a fan favorite. Would definitely recommend coming again and again... Prices are comparable but the ambiance and waitress makes it great! read more

I don't like giving bad reviews, but our experience today warrants it in most every way. We were in the area to attend a wedding. We wanted to stop in for a lil bite to eat before everyone heading their separate ways. We picked Bombshells in 249 so we could watch football to. We had 8 adults and 2 kids. The place was empty, as it was before game time on Sunday. Finally after waiting 10minutes to be seated, we ordered drinks, a couple beers, 3 bloody Mary's, several sodas and waters. We also decided to order our food at the same time. After 20 minutes, the server came to our table to advise they do t have Mtn Dew. WE HADN'T RECEIVED ANY DRINKS AT THIS TIME...after 20 minutes. As a matter of fact, it took over 40 minutes to even get water...and the rest of our drinks followed. Again, there are maybe 20 other patrons, at 6 tables at this time. The wait staff was plenty...many just walking around. The gentleman we assumed was the MOD walked past our table several times, never stopping to acknowledge us. Our food took over one hour to receive. It was OK in taste...at least it wasn't cold! As a matter of fact, the food may have even been real good, but we were all so disappointed in the lack of service that is took away from it. The servers were nice, but it was obvious one was fairly new, so we eventually got a 2nd one to assist her. We ate our food. My husband ordered a bourbon on the rocks and had to ask about it 20 minutes later as it never came. The manager walked by and I asked to speak with him. I advised that it is a shame as someone has obviously put a lot of $$ into the decor of the establishment, and that is a shame because the service is very sub par!!! Now I understand why all the above, as all he could say to me is "I am sorry about that ma'am". He didn't show any concern, true leadership or ownership mentality to even express genuine concern. I wasn't looking for anything free, but sure would have appreciated some sincere concern, apology and just even an inquiry on how he could "make it right". Came here to watch game 2 of the astros playoff game. Staff and food were excellent until we were told that at 9pm they would start asking people without wristbands to leave (10$ wristbands to stay and watch the fight), money was not the issue, issue was that me and my family met up at this spot to watch the astros, this wristband only event, and they had no signs about this. no signage what so ever. it took a waitress warning us for us to know..... word of advice to management, put up signs of future events. let the hostesses inform people of the rules for that day before they sit down. because now, I cant go anywhere else because they will all be full now. read more

On Saturday may 18th my wife and I went to your restaurant on 249 to have a few drinks and watch the Astros game. We mentioned to our server, Jessica (who was great) that the game was about to start and it was in an unusual channel tonight. She went to her managers several times but the management staff could not figure the TV system out. As the game started I watched it in my phone as several customer left. One smoked the tires on his motorcycle he was so upset. I went up to the managers, one of which was David White, and told them the game was on regular TV, channel 26. David got rude with me and as I walked off my wife watched him make faces and disrespect me as I walked off. I am a 21 year military veteran. I am a Purple Heart recipient. I have never been disrespected like that. We asked to speak to a manager when we left and told them what happened and they compensated with $12 off a $50 dollar bill. All we wanted was David to apologize. As an Astros fan and as a veteran I will never go to your restaurants again. I will tell everyone I know through verbal stories and social media about what happened at your restaurant. I will not allow a place to use the military as the backdrop for their business when they treat a decorated veteran like we were treated and Inwill do all I can to make sure your business suffers.
