I really love Zen Massage!!…read more I tried a few other places in town, and this one is for me. My therapist here is absolutely amazing! I'm not going to mention their name because I don't want them to get so busy that I can't get in. They have male and female therapist here in case you have a preference. There are no memberships or pressure tactics like that other chain massage place. And they have good availability in multiple therapists, unlike a one person shop. They're in a nice shopping plaza with several restaurants and other businesses in case you need stuff after your massage. They are very good at communication via email and text and phone. I am very pleased with Zen Massage.

Husband and I came in for massages. My experience was not favorable. I paid for deep tissue…read more Started off ok, but then became mostly a rub down. I think the worst thing was that I wore my hair up in a bun, and MT asked if I wanted to wear it down. I specifically said no and made it clear that I didn't want oil in my hair. Later on she literally rubbed oil (which smelled terrible) completely through my hair and then lathered it onto my face. At the end, without any warning, threw a very hot towel on my back. Had she told me it would not have been so shocking. With all the good ratings I was disappointed in the quality of massage and then walking away like a grease pit. I only give it a maybe because maybe there is someone better.

I am VERY happy with the work Miranda did (partial highlights and basic trim), and I will definitely be using her again. I also tried out their nail technician Becki who was nice (gel French manicure). She makes her own sugar scrubs that are to DIE for and that left my hands wonderfully soft. My nails were already short so she did not have much to work with, but the outcome still turned out nice and I would try her out again.

I couldn't find an esthetician who was African American, so I was a little hesitant. The experience at the shop is very high end and she uses/sells great products, but she hasn't increased her prices so it's still very affordable. I book my appointments months in advance because she's always in high demand these days! I will never go anywhere else in the metro for my brows! She is extremely talented, always expanding her skill set as an esthetician, and totally "gets it" when it comes to brows and skin. I wish I had been going to Maria since my first brow wax as a teen 100 years ago. Pro tip: if your teenager wants a brow wax for the first time, DO NOT take them to just anyone. Go to Maria to make sure it is done right and doesn't mess up their brows for life! They'll thank you someday.
