They say they eed the dogs at 7 , when i picked up my dog they told me he already had dinner and i was there at 3 ? I was told i could drop him off at 7 and no one was there so idk how they feed the dogs at 7 , it probably more like 8am and 2pm feeding schedule idk olay whatever, so they go to get my dog so we could go home and he is soaking wet , yeah it was raining i get it but did he have somewhere to get out the rain , I've known my dog for 9 years and he wont go off the porch if its raining lol so there is that , and with the daily reports they say he was friendly and wanted loves and cuddles and petting lmao . For 9 years he dont ever want cuddles or pets , hes a fetch driven dog 24hr a day i highly doubt, he wanna love and cuddles and pets. Anyway the communication, the feeding and their daily reports.\nHave a bad taste for my mouth.I will try somewhere else next time

I have boarded my two dogs prior to their 5 night stay in November 2024. The stays have been fine,…read morebut two days after I picked them up on 11-5-2024 they both started coughing. It was horrendous coughing and coughing up phleg. I had to take them both to an emergency vet clinic because my regular vet had no openings. Yes, they had Kennel cough and they needed two prescriptions each. This vet visit was more than the dogs visit at the kennel. I called the kennel and reported my dogs were sick, and in a voice that didn't sound to sorry, told me we're sorry and no other dogs have been sick. My dogs are in a fenced acre yard and were near no other dogs. This kennel has lost my business.

The place is well maintained and all the animals play & roam around freely! Her facility is so different than all the boarders I visited- the animals had their own beds with blankets. It was warm & clean with playgrounds. Not crowded! My Lulu actually got so much exercise playing & socializing with other dogs. And it was all inclusive! I definitely recommend Mel & Rosedale Resort! She's extremely organized & communicates with her clients! Thank you!

Mel offered to take him in no questions asked, and make sure he didn't get into (too much) trouble. The resort itself is great, so much room to run around and rest (but mostly run around). Mel put as much love and care into creating the resort that she does into taking care of her pups! She kept in touch with us regularly, sharing pictures, and giving updates. We could tell he was having such a great time! Rates are also super reasonable for the VIP service our pup gets, with a discount for longer stays. We live in Kirkland and while it was a trek down to Rosedale, it was so worth it for our lil dude to have the time of his life! (and he slept for a full week after we picked him up lol) Thanks so much to Mel and team for the paw-some time ar camp!

We had a deeply upsetting experience with Wet Nose and feel compelled to share our story so others…read morecan make informed decisions. We adopted our dog after being told she was completely healthy with no medical concerns. Within 24 hours of bringing her home, she became critically ill and required three days of emergency hospitalization for severe infection, dehydration, and significant weight loss. We spent nearly $4,000 in vet bills to save her life. After requesting her medical records (which were only given to us AFTER we adopted her), we learned she had undergone major abdominal surgery just days before adoption, including treatment for a ruptured spleen and torn ligaments. She was prescribed medications that were never provided to us (or even disclosed to us) and her discharge paperwork clearly required 10 days of strict bed rest -- yet we adopted her on day five. She had been transported from Texas through Saving Hope Animal Rescue, and it is unacceptable that a dog recovering from major surgery was transported and placed for adoption without full medical disclosure or proper follow-up care. When we contacted Wet Nose for accountability and assistance with medical bills, they refused to help and claimed they were unaware of her medical history. Any responsible rescue should obtain complete medical records and ensure a dog is medically cleared before adoption. I even contacted local shelters asking if this was standard practice, and they were completely shocked at how this situation was handled. I know we are not the only story of this happening. Please do your research on this shelter, there are hundreds of Instagram, Facebook and reddit stories sharing similar experiences. Sharing my story isn't "online slander," it's transparency and holding people accountable. I love my dog so much and am glad she's on the mend, but this situation is completely unacceptable. Wet Nose clearly prioritized profit over animal safety.

I couldn't leave him in the house alone while at work because he would (literally) make himself sick with worry. Connie welcomed us as new clients and, as she is a generous, wonderful person, we became fast friends. She has steadily been there for me and my Hubie over the years. Weekdays, weekends, overnights, in a pinch at times with little notice... sending me cute pictures throughout the day of my boy, feeding him, giving him medicine when needed, taking him to the groomer, going on little walking adventures, giving him a little brush 'n fluff from time to time... I even moved back east and she still couldn't get rid of me! When I come back to Olympia periodically for my current job, I bring Hubie simply because I know he misses her. Connie has enriched both our lives and I'm so happy to call her a dear friend.

In the 2 months we used this place, we probably used daycare/boarding 6-7 times. We told the staff upfront that due to past trauma, he's a bit scared and does not like to be picked up at all. They told me they understood and it was all good, every dog is different. It wasn't a problem. Because other than that, he's super friendly. Every time I picked him up after daycare or boarding, they'd tell me he did great, he's so friendly, he loves running around with certain dogs, etc etc. I trusted them, obviously. The next time we left him at daycare, we picked him up and were told that he snapped a staff member, later to find out, she didn't read his file and tried to pick him up. And then I was penalized for that and given a warning... even though I let them know up front that they cannot do that because he is scared... A week or so later, we drop him off again for daycare one more time, he comes home with an eye infection. Which cost us $80 for medication to fix. We haven't taken him back since. Yesterday I received a message from a former employee there, saying she knows first hand that they do not like my dog and deemed him aggressive and had him in a cage most of the day instead of socializing. My heart completely sunk. I was being told (other than that one day) that he was great and they loved him and he played all day long. If I knew they felt that way about my dog, I wouldn't have brought him there. They just lied to my face. Who does that? I definitely don't trust these people. Wouldn't go back. Beware.
