do not go here. avoid. just look at their responses to any negative review. so unprofessional. got a lash lift and brow tint with rubina. she left it on for way too long and singed my lashes. she was extremely unprofessional and when she took the brow tint off she said out-loud "oh my god" and proceeded to laugh hysterically with her co workers at my expense. also charged me $210 for a brow tint and lash lift. other places charge 80$ and you get the added benefit of keeping your own eye lashes!! avoid avoid read more

Total waste of time. Went in for eyebrow consult. Had a wax and tint on my sparse brows. The girl that handled me seemed to have no clue as to what she was doing. After I explained I do not like dark unnatural looking brows guess what that is what she did. And to top it off they are clearly uneven. Yeah don't waste your money, I went there for the first time yesterday for an eye brow wax. I checked their website and saw they had makeup services. As well as checking their FB page and saw pictures of the makeup work. I guess it's super deceiving because mine looked NOTHING like any of the people they posted. Anyways after checking their Facebook I called back and booked it, because I was going out that night and short on time. They were very accommodating in adding that service for me I will say. Once I got there I received the quickest wax ever, no hairs were removed, I literally looked the same. For the hour I was there 3 different people complained about their eyebrows and how they were uneven etc. On to the makeup, well it looked like a 4 year old did it. She used her fingers half of the time, I was 4 shades darker then my neck and she applied blush on my chin and templesusually where you would put bronzer? My eyeshadow was not blended properly and my eye brows were uneven and overdrawn. She had to have a coworker do them for me. I ended up paying or wasting $75 all together... as soon as I went home I took off all make up off and did it myself something I wanted to avoid being I was in a rush to get into the city that night. All together a TERRIBLE experience I would not waste your time or money! read more

I went for a facial today at bombshell brows Rubina was my technician she was amazing and explain each and every step. It was so relaxing and when u left I felt so refreshed and was glowing. I've gone here for both my brows and lash extensions and I couldn't be happier with the results. For my brows I don't think I have ever liked the way anyone has ever threaded them before as much as I liked when Rubina did them. She also did a great job tinting them too. Both times I got lash extensions they looked great and they really listened to what I wanted. The first time I came in for a consultation with who I'm assuming is the owner or manager and she was so patient and real with me. The girls at the desk are also super sweet. This was my second time at this place. The first time was just okay and I didn't feel confident writing a poor review but my second visit solidified my feelings. First of all they don't sit and talk about it with you. A lot of people have different requests and they just go right into it. I asked for no scissor trimming and she nodded and picked up the scissors. My eyebrows are now uneven because she took the tail off of one side and cut too much of the front of my brow on the other side. I asked for waxing because threading makes me break out into hives. I had my eyes closed and after waxing she threaded my eyebrows. So I now have hives and uneven eyebrows. I've been waxing my brows for over 10 years and this is the most disappointing place I've been. read more

Went in for my first eyebrow wax in many years and loved it. My eye brows are the same just better if that makes sense. I don't have the thickest brows and last experience left them significantly thinner so this experience was great. They look more defined and cleaner. I absolutely love this place been coming here just about a year . Valentina is great she always takes her time with my brows and I look forward to my visits every few weeks. You have the option of getting a brow shaping with wax and tweezing or just tweezing if you are sensitive to any wax. I have to say their wax is great for sensitive skin too. About a week after my initial review, I received a call from manager Danielle. She apologized for my experience and I truly felt her sincerity by her tone. She invited me to return to try them again. I accepted and it was the best decision. The woman asked me what I wanted to accomplish with my eyebrows. I explained that I was growing them out and wanted them to be thick. She was thorough and honest. Some parts I would have to fill in with a pencil (no biggie). At the end of it all, they exceeded my expectations. I recently moved to the area and it's always hard to find a new person to trust with my eyebrows. I like threading over waxing because it's better for my sensitive skin and typing "eyebrow threading Long Island" into Yelp brings dismal results. I was thankful when I saw this salon - good reviews, lots of pictures - I was not disappointed at all. Everyone was friendly, from when I called to make an appointment to when I was on my way out. Furusa (sp?) did a wonderful job threading my eyebrows and filling them in. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I'm very grateful for that (I have a few brow horror stories). Not really a fan of how my lashes came out. When I arrived, the lady was pressuring me to do the other (more expensive) lashes when I told her multiple times I wanted the Audrey. It's my first time getting extensions so I made it a point to make them to look natural. She asked me if I wanted them short or long, I said short, but she ended up making them very full and long. She also made look droopy (they don't curl up, they go straight down). Also, when I gave the lady her tip, she came off as rude and appreciated. Although, the place looked elegant and the lady at the front desk was nice, I don't believe I'll be returning. read more
