I went for eyebrow shaping and tint. While there, I asked about eyelash tinting. The technician convinced me that it was safe and would make a big difference in making my lashes more visible. My brows came out darker than expected so even though they were waxed, they came out looking very thick and bushy. She gave me a mirror and quickly moved on to another customer, leaving me in the chair. I asked the cashier if I could get me brows thinned out so it didn't look so Groucho Marxy. Waited 15 minutes for the tech to come back and she refused to make them thinner. (Never had that happen anywhere!). The lash tint did nothing but cost me extra $. Would not recommend. Ownership/Management is rude. They can not hold staff. Anyone I have ever used that does a good job leaves. I had a reaction to the tint. They were completely unapologetic. They need to take some classes on how to run a successful business. Management is horrible. read more

I really wasn't sure how many stars to give. I went in to have my eyebrows and eyelashes tinted and they look great...kinda... the tint came out on my eyebrows exactly as it should of but she didn't discuss what color tint she was using and my eyebrows are FAR too dark so I've been using makeup remover on them to lighten them. When I called she was completely uninterested that I was unhappy with my eyebrows. So would I recommend this place? Not really. read more

Its a hit or miss and depends who you go to. It was my first time there and I specifically said I want to leave my eyebrows thick since I'm letting them grow out. The lady who did my brows removed the hairs that I was letting grow, which is a huge pet peeve. The price is a bit much, I have gone to other places who charge $8-$10. Also for the price, no aloe no cream, directly started to pencil in my brows using their products which was a bad idea, I can pencil in my brows way better than what she was doing. They came out okay but they just look exactly how they did months ago before I started letting them grow out. I probably will not come back. read more

I would NEVER get any services done at Bombshell Brow in Bellmore or any of the locations for that matter. I booked an expensive service, was asked to leave a $50 deposit & on the day of the actual service to pay cash. The Receptionist told me if I gave sufficient notice of cancellation I would get my deposit back. Not even 24 hours later I changed my mind and called to cancel this big procedure for 3D Powder Brows. I was told that I could not get my deposit back even though I had given 3 1/2 days notice & sufficient time for them to fill my time slot. After speaking to the manager multiple times & even asking to speak to the owner (who apparently does not speak to customers) I was told that this is their policy to keep deposits. So customers are NOT allowed to change their minds without being penalized with a large $50 fee. I guess that is how they are able to add a huge extension to their Bellmore shoppe and build up their business by robbing money from customers. Bad business and I will tell whomever I can to NOT use them for services. They are not even worth a 1 star as far as I'm concerned. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME. I came to Bombshell Brows for eyelash extensions at the very end of December to have them done for New Years. Before I explain my experience with this place let me just say my close friend is a MUA and has used eyelash extensions in the past and never had an issue. So I got mine done with my Aunt 12/29/16. I got "The Sofia eyelashes" with the SILK upgrade. It was painful after the eyelashes were put on from the glue I was tearing for a good 15 mins(I understand that may happen) All together it came to $150 with the upgrade. That very same day I also got an eye brow tint and eye brow thread. With tip I ended up spending over $200 at this place. Over the next two weeks I felt my lashes (along with my real were falling out) I came in for my two week fill in (which by the way set me back $65 before tip AND PURCHASED a lot for 10 bucks for my lashes) and I specifically told the girl that check my real lashes bc they seemed less ESP by my inner eye. She said no they look the same there all fine. I got my refill and literally 5-6 DAYS LATER they started CLUMPING. They were lifting and they looked horrible. They started to look cheaply done. I'm very neurotic esp when it comes to beauty and spending the money for it. I took care of these lashes like they were my babies. I never rubbed them, I never used any oil based, I even purchased water based makeup remover, and I bRushed them every day. So I'm due for a two week refill. And I need to see what's going on. This time I got a new girl . And I said look I don't have any lashes should I take them off bc they don't look right and I showed her She said yes let them breathe. So I decided to take them off . During The process she asks me low "who did your eyelashes" I told her she simply goes "oh" ?!! I didn't know what that meant but by the sound of it it didn't sound good. She took them off which KILLED . I look in the mirror and broke down. I LITERALLY HAD NO LASHES!!!!! My inner lashes GONE my outer lashes were barely there and ALL BROKEN!!!!!!! it was so bad that the lady didn't charge me!!!! MIND YOU the next day I had a party to go to I couldn't put mascara on! HORRIBLE customer service! I use to come for my eyebrows, eyebrow tint, did two spray tans there, and a makeup with the manager. NEVER AGAIN! The "OWNER" won't even man up and call us back. Like I said WARNING DO NOT GO!!!!! This place needs to retrain their staff or further look into a more expensive lash installation that won't take ur eyelashes off ! ITS A RIP OFF read more

Staff is always pleasant and accommodating when I walk in without an appointment. Eileen usually threads my eyebrows and she does a wonderful job. When Eileen isn't there every other girl who has waxed my eyebrows has done a great job as well. I've never left here dissatisfied. The place is clean and decor is cute. I'm very particular about who does my eyebrows having had very horrible experiences in the past. Honestly ive been here a few times but my last experience really ended it.. DO NOT GET EYELASH LIFT OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH LASHES.. After this experience my lashes were all twisted constantly poking me in my eye, they would twist together and feel like they are pulling a very uncomfortable feeling. Merrisa knows what she's doing! Yesterday, my daughter and I got the absolute BEST ever eyebrow shaping EVER! I also had my lashes lifted and tinted for the first time. Merrisa was patient, fun and very professional. I knew instantly that I was in very capable hands because she has the most beautiful eyebrows and she does them herself. She was extremely gentle and knowledgeable about products and technique. My daughter and I were FLOORED by our end results. Aesthetically, this place is BEYOND clean and the decor is very pleasing. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! After having horrible eyebrow waxing the past two years (visibly uneven, too thick, too thin) I finally decided to try Bombshell Brows. I walked in was immediately greeted by the lady at the front desk. After filling out a brief survey, I was escorted to a chair. The lady (I believe her name was Valentina) asked me what I wanted, and after I told her, she began working. She has been the only one to tell me why one of my brows seemed a lot shorter than I remembered (turns out one of the bad wax jobs I had shortened my eyebrow a few centimeters too short) She told me to wait it out and let it grow in and she will continue to fix it. The whole process took about 20 minutes, but that's ok because my eyebrows were atrocious after growing them out for two months. All and all, even though the price is expensive, my experience here was great, and I definitely will be coming back!!! read more

I had my first appt here last weekend. The location is bright and very nicely decorated, I immediately felt at home here. Had my brows done by Marissa, she was wonderful. I had my brows shaped, tinted and had my eyelashes tinted. She listened to what I wanted, shapely yet not too thin. The tinting came out awesome, I barely need to color them in now. The eyelash tint was a little uncomfortable, mainly because of the tape used to prevent your skin from getting colored. I told Marissa I was uncomfortable and she removed the tint and the tape and used a different skin covering to relieve the discomfort, I seriously appreciated that. Overall, super happy with the results, loved Marissa and the salon is beautiful. read more

I'm floored to see so many amazing reviews and here I am one of the few if not maybe only who left this salon very disappointed. I thought with the 40 plus reviews that my experience here would be at the very least be decent. With a name like "Bombshell Brows" you have A LOT to live up to. I will admit the store is beautiful and the decor is on point. I went into Bombshell Brows on Saturday July 30th prior to scheduling my appointment I asked if there were any first time customer incentives/discounts to which i was told "no" - alright fine with me I'm sure my brows will come out just fine. I trust my fellow yelpers opinions. I walk into my appointment and I was not greeted - someone had just finished paying and walked out. Here I am the only other customer aside from the ones being worked on just standing there. I approached the receptionist and told them I had an appointment for brow waxing and tint. I sat in the very last chair in the shop with a lady who thought it wasn't necessary to introduce herself. Even at this point I'm like cool I don't need to do the whole small talk ordeal. Before waxing most of us know the standard procedure of removing any possible oils from the face. This very basic yet essential step was completely disregarding. Can someone please tell me how are you going to be able to remove any hair with wax if there are oils on the skin? The waxing portion of my service took the technician no more than 3 mins. This was my first time tinting my brows ever! She applied the tint to my brows (Remember the brows that were not cleaned from oils) and told me she'd let it set for 5 mins. After the 5 mins were up she cleaned off the excess tint with cotton and water. Nothing appeared to look tinted... Probably because you didn't have a clean base to work on. I wanted to have my brows tinted for my vacation so I had to go to another salon the next day to re-tint my eye brows. The cerologists at the other salon was surprised to see that I had just received a eyebrow tint job somewhere else. I'm dismayed at how my services were handled at Bombshell Brows. The entire process of waxing and tinting took less than 10 mins. Granted this was my first time here I CANNOT over look the fact that they couldn't even be bothered with prepping correctly. No effort to clean the oil and sweat off my face in order to complete a through wax. read more

I absolutely love this salon! It has such beautiful decor.. Every time I come in I am greeted right away and all of the staff are extremely accommodating and nice. I been here about 6 times now and I'm addicted! It is my go to beauty bar-- my last visit was life changing.. I would normally just do the brow shaping which is fabulous but this last time I had 3D feather stroke brows done! I cannot stop looking in the mirror. Valentina gave me the absolute perfect shape and now I no longer have to fill in my sparse brows. The best thing is that even though it is a tattoo.. No one even mentioned or asked if it was a tattoo-- all my friends just told me there is something about me that looks great but couldn't pin point it.. Came in this past Saturday to get an eyelash lift. I usually go to queens but decided to go to bombshell brows because the location was convenient and I was able to schedule an appointment the same day. I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. As I was getting my lash lift done I felt a burning sensation the whole time. The lady was very very aggressive with my eyes. When I asked her if there was an issue she stated my lashes were straight and she needed to keep the product on longer. It literally felt like she was pulling my lashes off my eyes. The whole two hours I was there was torture. When I left I had to pull over due to my left eye irritation. It looked like I had blisters on my left eyelid and I was unable to drive for about 10-15 minutes. Next day I woke up with my left eye completely shut. Now my right eye is curled and my left eye has straight lashes. Went to the eye doctor today and he prescribed antibiotics. read more

Thought I'd give it a shot one day. Mistake. To the previous poster who asked for her brows to be left thick, I had the same problem, and despite my request they still took a lot off. Highly annoying. I don't need to pay mid 20's girls to do my brows while they sing to drake songs and fight over who's going to get a henna tattoo from a fellow employee next. Then they realize the henna has to dry because they have customers, meanwhile it's up and down their arms. Intelligent crew they have down there. Go to Brow Bar and more in seaford they actually know what they're doing and care about their customers, don't know why I drove further to try this place. read more

Not happy with the customer service. While the brow wax and tint were great, the lash extensions were not done correctly and didn't last more than a week. Attempts to get resolution were futile and ended up having to contact my credit card company. Sad, because I'm local and I'm a beauty writer, would have loved this place. read more

I've come here twice. Once for my eyebrows and once for a lash lift. I really liked how my eyebrows came out after growing them out for so long, after I finally got my own eyebrows under control once they shaped them people always compliment me on my eyebrows and ask me where I get them done, I always recommend this place to them! Now for eyelash lift I cannot say the same.. The girl who did my eyelashes had absolutely no idea what she was doing and long story short my eyelashes looked exactly the same so 65$ went to waste. Unfortunately i will not be coming back for eyelashes ever again, but always a possibility for the brows. Super over priced though :( but only worth it for the brows!!! EDIT: thanks Val G for responding to my review. I don't doubt that everyone who works there is trained, but it is worrisome and gives off the impression that someone doesn't know what they're doing when they need to run back and forth several times to ask someone what to do next and what size they should be using, and quite frankly the results prove it! By no means am I trying to belittle your services but please for future references make sure that the ladies are comfortable and completely ready to preform services because it's extremely uncomfortable when you feel that your tech is unsure or unconfident in what they're doing! She is always accommodating when I need a last minute fill due to my rough nature in taking care of them not as well as I should. Finally! A place that knows what they're doing! As an artist, I'm a perfectionist and having my brows done in a nail salon was always a disaster. They'd look alright to most people, but again, my knowledge of face proportion was always my personal hang up. The nail salons would make them too thin, or too short, or uneven. Danielle at Bombshell knows her brows. She knows where they start, at the right angle from the nose, where they need to arch, and how thick they need to be. She knows how to clip and she knows when not to. I'm thrilled with my brows. I probably shouldn't write such a stunning review because I'll never get an appointment again! I've been to Bombshell Brows 4 or 5 times already, always for eyebrow threading, and every single time I've been there I have had an issue. I keep going back because my brows always come out great and its conveniently located near my house, but I won't go more than once a month because the price for just an eyebrow threading is ridiculous- it's like $18. I always call ahead and make an appointment and arrive a few minutes early but am always left waiting around to be seen. What's the point of making an appointment if I'm still gonna be sitting around?! The worst experience I had there was when I had an appointment and was waiting for at least 20 minutes before I got up and left. None of the receptionists were even in the front, they all went to the back to hangout or something and only came back to the front after they heard the door open and close and saw me walking away. They called me and told me I'll be seen in 5 minutes if I wanted to come back and when I said no they offered me $5 off for next time. That was nice, but I feel like I shouldn't have been waiting that long if I called ahead to make an appointment... But like I said, my brows always come out great, and the place is very clean. read more

After reading the reviews, I booked my appointment for a shaping and Brow Tint. I was excited for days and couldn't wait for my appointment. My goal was to check the place out for a ladies day I was planning for my cousins bridal shower. First impression was good. The place is super cute and the young girl at the desk was professional and friendly. The girl who was to do my brows was very nice. However, I was dissapointed with the outcome. The Brow tint was hardly noticeable, which didn't bother me that much. What did bother me was the fact that my brows looked exactly the same way they were. I actually had to tweeze a lot of stray hairs when I got home. She offered to take me on a tour to show me all the services offered, but that never happened. I felt like all she was doing was pushing the products sold there. Needless to say, I won't be booking Bombshell Brows for my cousin's shower. read more

I make sure to come here whenever I am in town for my brow and lash needs. I have yet to finding as convenient, well-priced, with amazing results. After four years, I have never found anything that even comes close. As a natural red-head with extremely light brows, I can always count on an amazing tint and shape. Trendy little place. The staff is friendly and attentive. Parking can get a little difficult, so i usually park on the side street next to the post office. I've had my eyebrows done, tried the eyelash curl treatment and eyelash extensions. All looked great!
