I come to Fringe for hair color/highlights and hair cuts. Soon after coming, my husband started coming here too: and FINALLY he has an amazing haircut! Gretchen is my hairdresser, and she is just great! She's a terrific listener, but at the same time will walk me through things and give me feedback so that way I leave with something that I both like and looks great. There are several women that will wash you hair and put in toning treatments and they are all so sweet and just really take care of you! Pricewise, I think that this salon is at a great price point considering the high quality of services they give. Their prices are at the mid to higher range, however I have had my hair done at salons that will give you the same results and completely gouge your wallet. I also love how Gretchen will work with me to figure out what I should get done based off of what my budget is going in, I find that super helpful!

When I arrived, she was in a room with her son doing homework. During my service, the child was constantly in the room distracting the woman, walking around the table I was laying on, looking at my friend's phone to see what he was doing (playing a game), and generally being a nuisance. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions. They looked good when done, but there were glops of glue that irritated my eyes for days. Now, about a week later, the lashes are falling out in clumps and taking my natural lashes with them. I have done some research and this is not how it is supposed to happen. I was on vacation in Memphis and did this for a treat. Now I have to find a professional to rectify this mistake before I become a freak with no eyelashes. At least they looked good for a while, even though they were uncomfortable most of the the time.

Amanda is the best lash artist in the midsouth, perhaps the south. I always get compliments and ask who does them. In addition to lash services I've had the plasma pen treatment twice. Talk about incredible results! As a Botox user, the plasma pen has reduced fine lines and wrinkles all over my face. I no longer get Botox injections on my 11s or around my laugh lines. Facials are another facet.. I've had peels and classic facials.. all leave your face feeling fresh and glowing. Hair.. from cuts to styles, these ladies are so talented!! One other note... I fried my own hair doing my own bleaching, and Betty's home mix conditioner has helped my hair reduce the crunch of the mistake I made.. and two months later it is smooth and silky. I came in for a Brazilian wax around 5 PM on November 17, 2025. The building was clean, I was…read moregreeted right away, and the acting manager took me back for my service. She gave me a moment to get settled before starting, which I appreciated. The wax itself felt a bit rough, but nothing out of the ordinary. I was on the phone with a friend to distract myself, and I began to notice she kept going over the same areas repeatedly, almost as if the wax wasn't grabbing the hair. When she finished, she let me check the results--and that's when I noticed that about 75% of the hair was still there, just broken off the way it looks when you shave. I tried to discuss it with her, and she attempted to go over the area again, but the wax still wasn't picking anything up. I was disappointed and asked for a reasonable solution, especially since I now have to wait for the hair to grow back to at least 1/2 inch before anyone can fix it. She told me she couldn't offer a discount and that I was still responsible for the full balance. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me she was the manager and that the head manager wouldn't return until Wednesday. When I asked for their contact information, she refused. After pushing the issue and explaining my concerns, I was eventually offered a free service. Overall, the service was poorly done, and as a loyal customer for years, I'm extremely disappointed. My wax feels prickly--like porcupine quills--and that's absolutely not the result I expect from this place. So disappointed.
