This is a great space with great people that know hair. Let's define here that "knowing" is to really understand the science of hair and the engineering of hairstyles. Destiny is a great stylist that loves what she does. They just opened the salon so it is still in process of being decorated, however the current space is spacious and clean and organized. Their salon is hard to be scheduled with so make sure to check their schedule or call. Find the important dates in your life and schedule accordingly. My issue is i told her to use Demi permanent dye because my hair is a little damaged and i wanted to be on the safe side, and she told me that she was using Demi while she was applying it only to find out later she used permanent and on top of that ITS NOT EVEN JET BLACK. It looks the exact same as it did when i went in. How did she apply color and it didn't color my hair? It's brown and red. I heard her asking another stylist if they had anymore 2N and that's a shade lighter then black. So i asked her again you're doing her black right? And she said yes. I want a refund, and the owner Nikki told me they don't give refunds. So i wasted $210 for a trim and a hair treatment that i could've bought at a Walgreens. kalin couldn't even brush my hair right. It was wet and tangly and she started brushing at the roots instead of going from the ends and up . I arrived and was greeted and offered a beverage of my choice (LOVE THAT PART). Mrs. Wanda started the process for my nails and the wonderful JAYLA gave my natural nails a wonderful make over. Instead of using extensions she was able to use my own and they look AMAZING. She was patient and I didn't feel like I was being rushed. Neither time did I feel like I was being rushed out and sprayed away(hurry up and dry) lol. Services offered range from manicures, pedicures, it is a hair salon, and offers specific hair care needs, all offered in a relaxing and CLEAN environment. She has music playing overhead and it so relaxing you just fade away lol. I highly suggest making an APPOINTMENT, you never know if they have a project or what their schedule like. This is NOT like those "other' salons we are used to visiting. Ms. Wanda take a great pride in making sure you are happy and will offer to correct a problem, unlike some places that post signs everywhere. I thought that they would be super busy given the reviews I read about this business and was really surprised that they only had one other customer.... Inside, the place is beautiful and clean. The tall, white, throne-like chairs seem to hint that you would be treated like "a queen." And the staff really do treat you like so. They were incredibly friendly and professional. The missing stars in this review are solely due to their poor nail work. From being too rough removing my cuticles, to leaving polish stains on my fingers, not filing/shaping my nails, to applying the polish patchy and clumpy...etc. Her technique was simply bad and very different from my previous experiences in other salons. Maybe this explained why they only had one other customer. The owner performed my manicure, so I don't know if they have other technicians that do a better job. I really do hope so because I think this place has great potential.

Not only did they take their time with me, but even stayed after hours. They seem to be in no rush! Love the service already. Also, very reasonable priced! Not an arm or a leg !
