This was probably the worst massage and facial I ever had. The massage was mediocre. I told the…read moregirl what type of pressure I wanted at the start and when we started on the back massage, I repeated again that I wanted more pressure. Nope. It felt like nothing. No proper pressure. on top of that the girl was sniffling she probably had a cold and should have worn a mask. So, we are still in Covid times. Clearly did not follow simple health measures towards customers. Massage wise- Would not recommend The facial. I think it was done by Cissie. My goodness if you want to hear bragging about all the academia clients she has then you are in for a treat. She could not stop talking about all the important customers she has! How about her work? Well, first of all facials are done differently. To start with, she did not analyze the skin. She cleaned it, smearing product over the face, then put the steam for a long time on only one side, the other side of the face wasn't educated enough to get steam? I asked her a few questions, which she did not answer, she did not explain what she was doing. Kept advertising a product she did notknow how to pronounce the French correctly, and kept telling us how we would be eligible for expensive upgrades. The checkout? No water was offered. Painful, the ownder took a very long time. Just no proper customer service. In these days where we are looking at our pennies, these folks don't deserve your hard earned money. It was very clean, and they did perform a service, but it wasn't industry standard. I sure hope I won't be sick this coming week. Masks are easy to get by these days, or don't come to work if you are sick. Too expensive for NO expertise! No real knowledge of her craft. Please don't go there.

I was given a consultation on my skin which was followed by the signature Eden facial to address my own personal skin concerns. Not only did she focus on my face, but she also applied product and massaged my neck and décolleté which was a nice addition to the facial. The entire experience was so relaxing from the cleansing to the extractions. But most importantly, my skin looked so bright, plump and hydrated when she finished. I can't wait for my next one in 4-6 weeks.

Reception was very friendly and personable. I started my visit with a glass of wine and wind down in the meditation room. I met with Veronica who did a full inspection and consultation. I've had consultations and treatment before at other medical spas, but they've been surface level (no pun intended). Veronica focused on all aspects of skin care: sun exposure, hydration, diet, vitamins, skin routine, exercise--all of it. With this information, she made recommendations for a full suite of skin and wellness care, not just products or services provided at Ivy Spa, which shows a level of interest and commitment not previously seen in my experiences. She's incredibly talented; for instance, she could tell, by simply looking at my face, that I grind my teeth and hold tension in my jaws. That's pretty talented, IMO. I had some fillers and Botox and am already impressed with the results! She took extra care to not only numb, but also apply ice before and after injection to reduce swelling and site pain. She sent me home with a pretty lengthy list of dos and don't (again, not something I've really seen before) and options for future visits (no pressure, however!). I was sprayed on a Wednesday and got married on a Saturday and had the bridal glow I was looking for. The tan slowly faded throughout my honeymoon.
