I have been here a few times as my boyfriend has bought multiple Groupons for this place…read more The scheduling is weird but once you do it and realize you need to save the text number to schedule I guess it works. No one ever answers their phone number on the site or google. So scheduling sometimes took a day or two but they always showed up for the appointment at least. They were good massages but it not the best place I've ever been to. Regardless I always tip well. This last time I had an appointment and was stood up. Got there and the door was locked, called the main number and no answer. Texted and called the scheduling number and no response. No one ever showed. I had my Groupons refunded and will not ever be trying to go there again. So unprofessional to waste a paying clients time!! Do not recommend. They need to figure out how to run a business better or give it up and just do it out of their homes when they have time if they don't want to actually show up. Update. Looks like they are permanently closed. Still haven't received a response to reschedule. I had my Groupons refunded. Won't be back.

I tried to give them a few tries since I'm new to the area and Alaa is who I came to like at this…read morelocation but she's been gone a few weeks maybe months. So I decided to try the others...1 older lady that I liked the last time was doing a facial so I couldn't get her and then a short younger girl with extremely thick brows...she seems aggressive to me....she was talking very loudly over my face and her breath was horrible the last time I came. She also messed up my brows and covered her mistake with the tint. Today takes the cake tho and I highly doubt I will return. I've been to Bombay Cordova and on Park for years...never a problem. They were always Very professional. Clean work areas. That is not the case with the Southaven location. First let's start with the location. It's not clean, it's dirty, not inviting at all...no salon decor like the other locations. There's always a stinky smell like someone recently pinched one off or took a dump. I'm sitting here currently waiting on the young lady to go get tint for my brows that she just threaded. She's been gone nearly 20 minutes and I'm just listening to them stand in the hallway talking as if their lobby isn't full. She just got back...I remind her that I also want my chin threaded. She's so busy talking that it takes her 20 mins to apply the tint to my brows...she tells me to sit somewhere else while my tint settles and I remind her again that I wanted my chin threaded. She sighs as if I just asked to borrow her wallet! I keep my warm demeanor bc if it weren't for my engagement photos that I'm taking tomorrow I would've walked out and just went somewhere else but she's already threaded me at this point. I just need the tint.I just despise blatant obvious bad customer service. And playing and talking as if you don't have customers literally waiting on you to finish their service. I've never had anyone take that long to get tint for brows. And when I tried to ask the older lady who did my brows the last time if she could check On the young lady getting my tint and she totally ignored me. I only had to wait 8 mins to be seen but it took her more than 50 mins to thread my brows and apply tint bc she played and talked the entire time. Not to mention either she used a stinky towel to wipe off the tint or it was her. She didn't have the boo-boo scent before she applied the tint but now I'm wondering if she pooped while my tint was resting and it got on her fingers....ugh. Never going back and I don't like my brows!

After listening to the wonderful experience, I get online and check to see what they offer. I went with The Gentleman's Afternoon Escape. My visit was in early October 2012. I walk in 15 minutes before my appointment to complete the paperwork and after that off to the back i go. Went to the lockerroom to get robed and then off for the 1 hour relaxtion massage. The ambience was everything i imagined. Low lighting, soft soothing music and comfortable, heated tables. I was able to clear my mind of all the stress that goes along with life. The masseuse was wonderful. On to the 1 hour facial. Again same ambience different room. The esthetician was great also. She started with a cleansing and exfoliation followed with a mask that stayed on for a while. She made me aware of all the products she was using and what they were for. After applying the mask, she leaves the room and at this point im so relaxed, that i fall asleep. After the facial I go back to the lockerroom to get dressed because I had to go out the common area for the Pure Fiji Manicure. This place would have gotten 5 stars if I could have gotten my manicure in the same ambiance as the other services, but the mani was still great . It was a bit noisy because the area was next to the hair salon and people were coming and going. Overall, great experience and will more than likely go back.
