This was my first massage so I didn't know it should feel differently. But she was AGGRESSIVE VERY AGGRESSIVE!!!! Digging her elbow so hard it's hitting my bone directly on my Tailbone!!!! And directly on my hips it hurt so bad the entire time I am holding on to the table!!! She would feel me tense up and ask too hard?? And I would respond yes lighter please and she will continue to dig into my body! This was the worst feeling ever! 3. It's not even a day later my whole entire body is tensed up my back is spasming my skin is red with welts in my skin! I was going numb when I was in there she was entirely too rough please do not go here. My whole body is aching and tender to touch. Moving is difficult I am way worse than I was when I came in 4. She left the room MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!! 5. This massage had absolutely no different strokes it was straight her elbow digging the entire time !!! 6. LASTLY as I am walking out she pulls out a cardboard paper that says "leave a tip thank u" I'm sorry but why are we DEMANDING A TIP! So, I came in to visit my sister in law from California for vacation and what came with me is a LOT of tightness from my neck, shoulder blades and shoulders so I was in pain. One thing that I struggle with is finding a massage therapist who can put in that pressure that I need. I need someone who can loosen up these knots. I have been to many who claim they can do it but I have came out of the session with a little relief. In any event, I found this place and seen some reviews about the pressure so I thought I would give it a go. I am soooooo glad I did. I had Lucy and she worked on me and was surprised at how I was able to take the intense pressure to the point that I was practically sliding off the bed. Lol... I still complain about the pain. To me, it just felt good and what is needed to dissolve some of the knots! I wish I can take her home with me because I would probably go regularly to relieve all this tightness. Anyways, I would totally recommend this massage spa as it was clean and professional and what I like is that they ask what kind of pressure I would like. I try to come in town to visit my parents every three to six months and this visit my Mama wanted me to find a place for us to get massages. Pretty much like Anything I look up I always search Yelp first and like always I'm never looking for long. Jade Massage showed to be the best in the area according to fellow Yelpers and Oh My Goodness were They Right!! When you first walk into the business you're automatically hit with a calming sensation. We were given paperwork to fill out to inform our needs and I stated that I had been having shoulder pain I believe from lifting weights. My masseuse was Wendy and my Mother's was Lucy (FYI: All masseuses at the business were trained in China). Both were absolutely adorable and so friendly and I Firmly believe they're hands are magic lol. Both my Mother and I were frequently asked if the pressure was okay (which I Totally appreciated)and our problem points were acknowledged immediately. Wendy literally got onto the table during her performance and worked on my shoulder taking away the pain. I'm still at an Awe! I've had a few massages in my lifetime and my Mother and I both Strongly agreed that THIS Was The BEST Massage We've EVER Had. Please don't ever come here . I had a 60 min massage and now I am in so much pain. She was very rough the whole massage and I kept telling her to please go softer . She was shoving her fist and elbows into my back so hard I was cringing to the table . She went as far as to hop on the table with her knees on either side of my face and rub from my shoulder down to my buttocks with her arm and it felt like rug burn. Leaving Jade Spa and will not be back. My entire service was rushed and aggressive. From the time I entered until the time I was done. I never had a massage done with such speed instead of Effleurage and a gliding massage technique. It was like a kid spreading oil all over my back and going insane. I couldn't wait until my hour was OVER! My appt was at 5:00 and the place closed at 9pm so I'm not sure why the lady was rushing. Today made my third visit and I didn't enjoy it at all. I paid for a hour full body massage , I really needed to relax and the masseuse "Lucy" didn't help at all. I have a port in my left shoulder and a surgical cut near my right breast. My arms was pulled in all different direction and extended so far back. No way I could relax! Please take intoconsideration your clients, we choose YOU! Lucy answered her phone twice in the middle of my massage to make appointments. I've been to many places but never experienced anything like this. I was in room 3 directly behind the reception desk and waiting room. I posted a photo of inside room 3 and at the very top on the opposite side of the room is the waiting room/ clerk desk upon entering. The clerk desk is directly behind the wall with the top of the ceiling open. I heard every single client that came in. Music is in the waiting area but none in the room where the massages are being done, therefore you can hear everything clear. Room 3 didn't have a sink in it but I heard running water from the sink outside the room as if it was in the inside. Lucy left the room twice for hot towels and rocks. I was laying on the bed with just a towel when she walked out. Please invest in top sheets. Anyway, she put warm wet rocks on my back which made me very uncomfortable. The Masseuse said that she had to run water on the stones bc they were hot. She didn't try to dry them with a towel before putting them on my back. I did pay for a deep tissue massage which was very intense/ aggressive. I did tell her 3/4 times to ease up. I pray I don't wake up sore or bruised. When I got ready to exit the front door, Lucy asked me did I leave her some tip. I think it's just RUDE to ask someone for a tip especially after a horrible service. I usually tip $20 or more depending on services. The only tip I can give is this honest review. Nana has done amazing things for my body and my well-being, and I cant recommend her highly enough!! Nana was able to zero in on my trouble spots and begin breaking up my knots. She is strategic in her approach and detailed-oriented in her delivery: If you need to spend the whole hour with her elbows in your shoulder blades, then that's what you will get. I HAD THE BEST MASSAGE EVER FROM NANA at Jade Spa and Massage. I suffer from psoriatic arthritis and sometimes have such severe joint pain that I can't get out of bed. My shoulder has been locked up for over two years to the point that I couldn't raise my arm above my belly button. I have been to multiple doctors, chiropractors and massage therapists. None have been able to help. In just two sessions, Nana has my should to the point where I can raise my arm all the way up above my head. Amazing.
